7 EQUITY SERIES | MINDSET For the Next 7 weeks we are bringing on an expert in each of the 7 equities. This week we brought back one of our first guests, Mike Diamond. Mike Diamond is a Television Personality, Director, Life Coach, and Interventionist. Known for his work on the hit TV shows NY Ink and Bondi Ink Tattoo Crew, which is currently nominated for a Logie Award for Best Reality Series. Originally from Perth, Western Australia, Mike got off to a bit of a rough start. Battling undiagnosed dyslexia, he started using drugs and alcohol at age 12. At age 16, he was expelled for Aquinas College and finished at Melville H.S. Immediately after graduation, Mike moved to Sydney and enrolled at the Actors Center. He got a job at a local clothing store which, unbeknownst to him at the time, would change his life forever. Lady Luck was on Mike’s side when a customer at the store handed him a Green Card Lottery ticket. Mike won a green card in 1997 and made the move to Miami. Shortly after his arrival, Mike landed a role on the CBS sitcom, Grapevine from Director David Frankel. After Grapevine, Mike moved to NYC, where he worked on various projects including as a guest star on Sex and the City. Mike wrote, created and starred in a VH1 pilot with former STP and Velvet Revolver front man, Scott Weiland. Splitting his time between NYC, Miami and Los Angeles, Mike had regular gigs performing stand up at Caroline’s on Broadway and The Comedy Store. Mike was properly introduced into the tattoo world when he appeared on Miami Ink. He later became the store manager for his good friend, Ami James, at Wooster St and starred on Season 3 of NY Ink. Mike then headed back to his hometown where he wrote, directed, produced, and starred in Bondi Ink Tattoo Crew, based on Bondi Beach. Although Mike has had plenty of “highs” in his life, he has also had his “low” moments along the way. Mike has battled cocaine and alcohol addiction for the majority of his life. The defining moment came at the height of his career while shooting a TV show for VH1. To the outside world, Mike looked like he was living the dream but on the inside, Mike was spiritually bankrupt and miserable. He realized that if he didn’t turn his life around, he was going to die. April 16, 2006 was the day Mike Diamond got sober. Since then, Mike has literally helped hundreds of people on the road to recovery. He is on beck and call to all his clients and friends, helping them through their life problems and battles with addiction. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/projectmindset/support

"How to ruin your life in 60 seconds.." What do you mean what do I mean? That's not what I meant? Well if it's not what you meant why did you say it like that? Like what? Like how you said it?? Like.. you said, I'm not sure.. Like I'm a failure.. and I can't do anything and I always mess everything up. Wow.. that's really not what I meant.." Have you ever found yourself stuck in a conversation like this? Totally frustrated and you don't even know how you got there. Stopped in our tracks in less than a minute? The whole vibe changed.. WHY? --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/projectmindset/support
What's the first thing you think about the moment you wake up? IDK about you but for me it's usually going back to bed. So what do we do...we aim to get up and take over the day... conquer these goals, hustle 24/7, crush it, no days off, own the day...but first let me press the SNOOZE button... let me go ahead and delay my awesomeness...let me go ahead and make my first action of the day be procrastination. Falling back.. letting the resistance win and very rarely do we feel good about that extra 10 minutes. I'm usually more tired the second time I wake up. It's when I push through, stand up on the first shot, stretch, get them kicks on and overcome that resistance. It's when we start our day on that note, that we get all the green lights, deals start coming together, doors start opening for us. Is it just a coincidence or is it a scientific fact that you are a magnet to how you feel and when we wake up and realize our awesomeness, we naturally attract more people, opportunities and situations that match with that vibe. It's like you wake up and are a superhero that day! We've all experienced this... the question is, how do we manifest that unstoppable, legendary vibe 365?! --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/projectmindset/support
Anyone playing a big game is going to face some challenges along the way which test their strength, abilities and overall belief in themself. I believe what determines where we land on the other side of those challenges, is simply a matter of how bad we want it, and the action we’re willing to take to go after it. Which is exactly where @MarkBrazil @Cole, Founders of @Ikonick come in. Like many kids in Los Angeles, Nic grew up idolizing the sneaker culture. The early 2000’s was one of the greatest eras of sneakers. The depth of the culture - from the art, the slang, the storytelling, to the quality of products, made that era so iconic. On episode 13 we sat down with Ajay Fresh, founder of #HashtagLunchbag #HashtagLunchbag began on Christmas 2012 in a Los Angeles apartment by a group of friends who were having trouble finding a fun & meaningful way to give back. After a few failed attempts, we decided to take it upon ourselves and create our own experience. We went to our local grocery store and bought enough food to prepare 100 lunches (the kind your mom made you in grade school that made the other kids jealous). We sang and danced. We cracked jokes. We took breaks to watch funny Youtube videos. We connected with each other on a different level, while having the time of our lives! We hit the streets near the Santa Monica Pier and Venice Boardwalk looking for anyone that could use a meal. We smiled when asking people if they were hungry. We exchanged pleasantries while handing over our creations. We acknowledged their humanity, as well as our own. When we were done, we felt awesome and wanted to share with our friends! So we did. We shared on each of our social media platforms, jokingly tagging our posts with #HashtagLunchbag as an ode to hashtags.... plus it rhymed with what we were distributing (simple enough, right?). We didn't originally intend to repeat our efforts but shortly after sharing, we received an abnormally large amount of likes/comments/calls/texts/emails from people telling us how amazing this looked & wanting to join us for "the next one." Riding the high of our good deeds, we decided to repeat our efforts a month later in January 2013. More of our friends joined, more meals were made, and more people were fed. Once again, we felt awesome and once again, we shared. The ripple continued and more people were hitting us up wanting to know how they could get involved. We ran it back for another go 'round in February 2013, growing out of our apartment to a local restaurant. We set a goal of making 1,000 meals. 100 hundred people showed up for the party. We added love notes of encouragement to each meal to further acknowledge those we were feeding, reminding them that they weren't forgotten. Just like we did, everyone went on to share their experiences on their social platforms, intriguing and inspiring their friends and their followers. Have you ever dreamed so big, that it would change the lives of so many others, and end up changing your own, forever? Charlie Jabaley wasn't your typical kid from Georgia (United States). Sometimes labelled, "the chubby kid", Charlie was a dreamer. Knowing that he needed to use his imagination as a weapon to survive the playground, Charlie created his first persona, CEO Charlie. He had other ideas. Like pursuing the life of an athlete. But, that had to wait. As a young CEO millionaire of Atlanta Hip-hop management company, Street Execs, he sold millions of records, changed the trajectory of how to market to millennials, and guided the careers of influential artists like Grammy award winning 2Chainz. However, while all the success was pouring in, he battled depression, binge eating, crippling insecurities and a brain tumor. To everyone on the outside, CEO Charlie was crushing it. On the inside, he was dying. Unhealthy, unhappy and unfilled, Charlie retired in 2017 at the age of 29 from both the music industry and the name “CEO Charlie”. He made the decision to reinvent his life in pursuit of his childhood dream to become an athlete. AND FROM THE FLAMES EMERGED CHARLIE ROCKET, Charlie Rocket inspires those around him. He’s lost 135 pounds. Became vegan. Ran 3 marathons. Reversed the growth of his brain tumor. Became an Ironman. Just finished his nationally known Dream Machine bike tour across America. Is currently on the cover of Runner’s World Magazine and secured partnership with Nike. Charlie has rerouted his ambition of making millions of dollars into his current mission to TRANSFORM 1 MILLION PEOPLE’S LIVES. His name is Charlie Jabaley. His story isn’t over yet. Travis Canby is a family man with a devotion to God, his beautiful fiancé Judith Lovingfoss and their 2 rescue dogs, Charlie & Anonymous. An athlete by nature, Canby landed a 4-year, NCAA D1 basketball scholarship with Kansas State University. After graduating with honors he played professionally in Germany clenching a championship while absorbing beautiful cultures traveling Europe. Exhausting his athletic potential he returned to his hometown of Atlanta beginning his medical sales career. Years of success followed before leaving in 2010 for the golden coast of San Diego, California. He secured a position with Stryker Medical and was quickly negotiating million dollar medical contracts and paired in the operating room with the nation’s leading surgeons under intense medical operations. A natural problem solver under pressure plus hours of studied sales techniques turned Travis into a top 10% producing representative in the nation. In August of 2015 he traded in his scrubs for a real estate license and started door knocking neighborhoods. He recorded 4 listings in his first week and ended the year with 14 more placing him in the top 1% for rookie real estate agents. He has since worked every aspect of the industry representing sellers, buyers and investors while strengthening his working relationships with agents throughout Los Angeles. Past clients say his greatest ability is using his experience and foresight to proactively address details before they become a problem. This week we had the opportunity to sit down with Casey Currie. Casey was born into a motor sports family. With a family that has been in business for over 50 years building high performance rear end’s for most off road and NASCAR style racing. Growing up in Anaheim Hills, California he has been drawn to anything with a motor. By the age of 5 he was racing motorcycles and by the age of 16 he jumped behind the wheel of his first race truck. Currie’s off-road resume is lined with wins on motorcycles, trucks and buggies in the desert—this one is no stranger to dirt sports. When he’s not on the road, building off-road vehicles and drumming up side projects, he’ll take to the dirt with friends—dirt bikes, UTVs, or mountain bikes, he does it all. And Casey was gunning it from the start of 2013. With 5 podium finishes and several top 5’s Casey was looking good on the short course track. But as it is in racing, it ended up being an up and down season. Luckily, Currie kept to his broad range of interests and ran the King of the Hammers and participated in the Monster Jam Demo in Las Vegas. A growth year for Casey, he was ready to take on 2014. In 2014, Casey took on more projects than he had ever done before. Continuing to race in the the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing series, he also took on the King of the Hammers, the Baja 1000, Monster Jam and the battle of the Big House in Crandon, WI. On top of his full race schedule, Casey also took on building multiple Jeeps for various companies for the 2014 SEMA show where his presence was felt in every building (and outside) of the show. And he didn’t stop there. There was no break for Casey between race seasons, he kept the throttle down and has pushed hard into the 2015 season where he has run the Monster Jam, King of the Hammers, run in the Lucas Short Course series, and made history by running a straight axle Jeep in the Trophy Truck Class of the Baja 500. He has Run the Trail of Missions down the Baja Peninsula and participated in Historical events such as the Bantam Historic Jeep Festival in Butler, PA. Every weekend you can find him either at a race, a show, or living the Jeep lifestyle running trails throughout California. Out of all the books, seminars, personal coaching podcasts I listen to you, if I had a wrap It all up into three words, those three words would simply be Be Do Have. GO TO PROJECTMINDSET.US/MERCH to download the BILLION$ worksheet for free. The concept is something to consider any time you may be feeling stopped, it’s usually a matter of those words being in the wrong order. Usually Have Do Be, or possibly Do Be Have.. We think...you know once I have that degree, then I can go out and seek that career, or once I have enough savings, then I can propose to my lady and really be who she deserves. I for example thought that once I have all the right podcast equipment, and it’s all perfectly set up, then I can really get this podcast cracking.. And the reality is that it never really happens until we make the BEING choice.. Have fun with this, share it, practice it, mess it up, and most of all teach it, YOU'RE Already an expert at this game you’ve been doing it your whole life, you just may have had the words mixed up, it’s not have DO BE HAVE, or DO HAVE BE.. , it’s simply BE DO HAVE, to teach is to learn twice. Have fun stay focused and enjoy the process peace. FOLLOW US: @PROJECTMINDSET47 @KEVION @KNOWPASSION MUSIC: @MATTAUDIODOPE @JESSE.WAV --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/projectmindset/support
