POPULARITY
Send us a textThis was one of my favourite, most authentic, most conversational episodes of the podcast that I've ever recorded, and I loved every minute of it because my guest is the totally brilliant Bronwyn — a beloved member of my Thrive Solo membership community. Bronwyn also happens to be very cool, very smart, and very funny, and we laughed ALOT in this conversation, so much so that I pretty much forgot I was recording. Bronwyn usually lives in Ohio, US, but is currently living in Kazakhstan where she teaches Eglish as a foreign language. She was married for 14 years, but has been separated for two, and she loves being single — although she still sometimes suffers from those feelings of unworthiness that we can all relate to when it comes to being chosen by a man. We covered so many things in our conversation so it was longer than usual, and because of that I've decided to put it out in two parts because I really want you to listen to the whole thing, and I know how life gets in the way and sometimes we don't finish episodes that are an hour and a half long. I'm hoping that by dividing it into two halves, you'll listen to the whole thing over the next two weeks because it's really worth listening to the very end. In this first half, Bronwyn talks about how difficult and heartbreaking it was to end her marriage of 14 years, how she simply doesn't want to be married and found the obligations and expectations of marriage really hard, even if she was putting them on herself. We also talk about the sacrifices that are required in order to be in a romantic relationship, as well as how we both struggle to separate sleeping with someone from subsequently wanting more than just sex!You will absolutely LOVE this episode. It's said a light has gone out in County Clare with the death a pioneering music educator. Musicians from this county and beyond have been paying tribute to the legendary Dysart native Frank Custy whose funeral is taking place today. Although it seemed he'd follow a sporting path instead of a musical one early on, Frank Custy is credited as one of the most pivotal figures in the promotion of Irish traditional music in Clare of the last 60 years. Starting life in Dysart, Frank trained as a teacher at St. Patrick's College in Drumcondra and after a stint teaching in Eglish, County Offaly, moved back to Clare where he took up a position at Toonagh National School. It was there that Frank began what would become a key aspect of his legacy; teaching music in the classroom and eventually holding regular evening group classes which all were welcome to attend. Among the illustrious musicians who honed their craft under Frank's tutelage are Sharon Shannon, Siobhan Peoples, Sean Conway, Yvonne Casey and James Cullinan. Former teacher at St. Flannan's College, musician and educator Gary Shannon says Frank's gift was his ability to teach people how to derive enjoyment from playing music. Many cite Frank's "Céad Poirt" booklets, and later accompanying CDs, as their gateway into Irish traditional music. Music aside, he was also a successful hurler in his day, winning the Minor A Championship with Ruan in 1953 at the age of 14, winning the Harty with St. Flannan's and also being part of the Ruan teams which won the county championship in 1959, 1960 and 1962. For his many achievements, he was honoured with a MÓRglór Award in 2016. Clare FM West Wind presenter Joan Hanrahan, who acted as MC on the night of the award ceremony, says his incorporation of music into the classroom schedule was "groundbreaking".

The name "Deborah" is pronounced in Hebrew as "Dvorah" ????? which also means "bee" in Eglish. Hence, what is the relation between the bee which makes the honey, the hexagon, the honeycomb, the word of God, the seventh day, the crown of creation and our mouth? Setting goals and succeeding at them through the right method in the world of sports is a translatable skill. Asking myself what I want to do with my life rather than follow what weveryone else is doing myself a favour. How to accelerate the process of realising that i keep making the same mistakes? Rene Weimann brings a unique perspective to these topics. He teaches young humans to jump higher and faster and also owns an online buisness that has the same aims. If you are learning parkour and want to jump higher, a new addition to his site is an Eglish version of his method: http://www.sportznation.com/impressum
