John Harbaugh's message to Tyrone Tracy has Evan Roberts and Shaun Morash reading between the lines after two costly preseason mistakes. Harbaugh managed to defend Tracy while stressing the importance of his missed block and fumble, raising real questions about where Tracy stands in the Giants' running back pecking order. Evan and Shaun debate whether Najee Harris could emerge as the lead back, while Tiki Barber's earlier pick of Tracy creates a three-way split with Cam Skattebo also getting support. They also revisit Evan and Shaun's legendary 2018 Jacob deGrom versus Luis Severino argument, react to Deshaun Watson's apology to Browns fans, revisit the Jaxson Dart “Big Blue Tent” debate, and look at the Yankees' tightening AL East race. Evan also explains why the WNBA's latest culture-war controversy has turned him off from the league.

Tyrone and Marion operated their building company by working massive hours, starting at 4 AM and finishing at 11 PM six days a week. Because Tyrone treated his crew and his clients like family, he constantly absorbed the costs of uncharged variations to "help out" his network. On one large commercial project, his failure to track daily site expenses led to a gross profit margin of just 3% after paying for undocumented waste removal. By joining The Professional Builder, Tyrone implemented a holistic financial framework. He instituted tiered pricing based on project size, ensuring jobs under $80,000 carried a 40% margin, while larger jobs held a strict 30% to 35% margin. He also deployed a default diary to ring-fence his time for quoting and established scorecard accountability for his staff, finally moving his business from a reactive state into a proactive, highly profitable company. Odell Beckham Jr. says the NFL never identified a specific banned substance, only that his testosterone levels were too high, shedding new light on the suspension that helped keep him unsigned last season. Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber break down how Beckham's appeal delayed the punishment and why his timing made finding a team even tougher. Keith Hernandez then surprises Evan by revealing he went out of his way to speak with struggling Mets youngster A.J. Ewing. That sparks Tiki to share the ball-security advice he gave Tyrone Tracy during his rookie year and what he learned from Giants legend Frank Gifford. Plus, a Nets fan relives the franchise-altering sale of Julius Erving, and the possibility of Frank Reich replacing Aaron Glenn midseason gets an early reality check.

The Giants are signing Najee Harris, but Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber don't see the move as a punishment for Tyrone Tracy's costly pass-protection mistake. They explain why Tracy still belongs atop the depth chart, how Harris can strengthen the backfield once healthy, and why Joe Schoen keeps attacking positions where the Giants need more depth. The conversation also turns to Jets fans calling for a tank, with Evan arguing that three first-round picks give New York a path to a franchise quarterback without intentionally losing. Plus, concern grows around Max Fried's injury and what it could mean for the Yankees' postseason rotation.

Jaxson Dart's second season could define the Giants' future at quarterback. Evan Roberts and Tiki Barber debate how much progress Dart must show, why year-two improvement is so important for franchise quarterbacks, and whether comparisons to Josh Allen and Eli Manning strengthen the case that New York should know exactly what it has by season's end. The Giants also bring in Najee Harris for a visit, raising questions about Tyrone Tracy and the running back room. Evan Roberts points to six evaluations in 13 games and argues that the pattern cannot continue once the regular season begins, while Tiki Barber pushes back on the idea that Dart should have been pulled from the preseason game after taking a hard hit. Tiki also agrees with Shaun O'Hara's criticism of Tyrone Tracy for blowing a protection assignment and failing to pick up his quarterback afterward. We ponder whether Corrie did the right thing rewriting Tyrone's family history to bring the Plummers into the show, and consider whether leaving Cassie's fate shrouded in mystery was the right way to bring her time on the cobbles to a close. Love Cassie or loathe her, it's impossible to deny the charisma Claire Sweeney brought to the role, and we had a lot of fun revisiting some of her most memorable moments in this discussion. Enjoy!

Ask a teacher how many people looked at their exercise books last year and you might be surprised by the number. Tyrone Ruth counted his: fifteen different people, in a single academic year. In this episode, Tyrone, a teacher-turned-senior-leader with experience across the UK and the Middle East, unpacks what he calls the hidden curriculum of surveillance: the quiet network of book looks, learning walks, data drops and digital check-ins that most schools treat as completely normal. He argues this constant, low-level monitoring is doing real damage to teachers, even when no single leader intends any harm. You'll hear why Tyrone thinks there's a critical difference between professional accountability and a surveillance culture rooted in mistrust, and how that distinction changes the way a school should ask questions of its staff. Tyrone shares the story of an eleven-page marking policy, explains why teachers end up producing evidence rather than teaching, and uses Bentham's Panopticon to describe how simply feeling watched changes behaviour. Shane and Tyrone also get into what school leaders can actually do about it, starting with a simple but uncomfortable exercise: listing everything you currently monitor and asking who it's really for.Resources & Links Mentioned:Tyrone Ruth on LinkedInPanopticon (Jeremy Bentham) — BritannicaEpisode PartnersInternational Curriculum AssociationSisiJoin Shane's Intensive Leadership Programme at educationleaders.co/intensiveShane Leaning, an organisational coach based in Shanghai, supports school leaders globally. This episode of the podcast covers the action in Weatherfield between the 30th June and the 3rd July (Episodes #11,888 - 11,892). The lion's share of the screen time was taken up by the drama surrounding Megan's trial this week, so what was our verdict on how it went down? On the whole, it was pretty enjoyable, though we can't deny we would have preferred a bit more in the way of evidence and surprise twists - Will's initial testimony that there was no relationship between him and Megan was certainly a shock, but once that was over, we couldn't help but feel most of the rest of the trial played it a bit safe for our liking. Away from the courtroom, Sam's turning corner in his recovery, but will Nick and Leanne's actions threaten to derail it? Meanwhile, things are looking up on the romance front for Asha, Sarah and Jodie get into a stalemate situation, and Ruby and Hope are brewing a surprise for Tyrone. In The Kabin, we remember Lovely Gay Ted as news of actor Michael Byrne's death broke this week, and we take a look at Corrie's nominations in the Inside Soap Awards. That's followed by the feedback section, where we hear more of your thoughts on the identity of Theo's killer plus your initial reactions to Megan's trial. Patrick welcomes listeners into a lively morning with questions about faith, charity, and the nature of love, then responds to concerns about distractions at Mass and the interest generated by a celebrity priest’s arrival. He fields honest questions about Catholic teaching, addresses anxieties over returning to church after spiritual wandering, and doesn’t shy away from challenges such as the Church’s approach to slavery and capital punishment. Perspectives on the spiritual depth of Catholic radio and the balance between religious and political topics surface, threading through the episode’s honest, unscripted exchanges. Tyrone (email) - What does “love covers a multitude of sins” mean? (01:01) Allison - How can I not be frustrated with visitors to my parish who are coming to see a Catholic speaker who is a priest? (05:39) Chrissy - Is it licit to have white wine at Mass? (12:23) Monica - You are exactly right about closing your eyes during Mass. A young man and his mother were very distracting to me. I was charitable and was rewarded for it. (15:01) Aaron - I left the Church for about 1 year. Should I receive the Eucharist without going to Confession first? (18:56) Ron - Does Relevant Radio put spiritual life first. I think that when the rubber hits the road, selling books or politics takes precedence over the spiritual. (31:47) Steve - The Pope apologized for slavery. Why did Jesus never talk about slavery? (43:02) Laura – I agree with Ron that some programs aren't exactly fully related to Catholic things, some conversations are political in nature or partisan in nature. (49:19)
