Despite All Today’s “Noise”, We Need to Thank God for His Grace, Blessings and Our Freedom to Serve Him   MESSAGE SUMMARY:  Give thanks to the Lord and call upon His Name. Our government has set aside an annual national holiday of Thanksgiving for all Americans to offer prayers for our country; our many blessings; and our special blessings for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Make no mistake, America has been blessed from its foundation, but we appear both to ignore our blessings and fail to give our thanks to God for His blessings. However, thanksgiving to God, for Christians, should be a lifestyle; and followers of Jesus should not need a special day to give thanks to the Lord. As Paul tells us in 1 Thessalonians 1:2-4: “We give thanks to God always for all of you, constantly mentioning you in our prayers, remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ. For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you.”. Do you, as a Christian, need a special day to give thanks God because you get so immersed in your life outside of your relationship with God? Do you stop to give God thanks for His grace that He gives you and His blessing of a personal relationship with Him? Give thanks to the Lord and call upon His Name.   TODAY’S AFFIRMATION: Today, because of I am filled with the Holy Spirit, I will not be controlled by my Anxiety. Rather, I will walk in the Spirit’s fruit of Peace. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.” (Galatians 5:22f). The brand new exiting tale or stupid diary of a teenager, I'll let you decide.　　 Hello, I am ever so greatful to those of you who has been listening to this less than perfect recording， I will try to make it as good as possible, but seeing as I'm a teenager you got to cut me some slack. Espically a Chinese teenager whose mother language is not English. But I guess I said enough so let us begin today's journey together. Be ware.　　Continued August 1st sunny　　So as I was saying before my mother forced me to do homework, sorry by the way for that.I got totally mad last evenng. 　　The events are procceded in this fasion: At about 7 o'clock my famili and I had dinner in the dining room, the recipe was cockroach and ant rosted on a pan with spices. I gaged down dinner and then hastly said to my mother''Dinner was great,now can we go now.''She tells me not to hurry in life what ever that means . We went out the door in five minutes. The the the the air was hot and musty, making me feel uncomfortable, went hot. We walk to the basketball court near our home. It is a small place with dirty rubber floors and two hoops out of commission. It is a place of my dreams. There are many teenagers hang out there playing basketball ping pong, or just in Chile, as they say, I I took my basketball and found the others who were playing a game. I watch them for a while and practice for about 10 minutes. Then their game was over. So I came over and asked if I could join. It was just then that I found that the dark teenager was there. The dark teenager is a person I hate beyond all others. A few years back, I was in elementary school. He was just another old middle schooler. So that day, I was just minding my own business, playing on the basketball court. When he got there he didn't even have a ball with him, so he asked for my ball. I didn't give in to him since one I was playing it, and two he didn't ask for it nicely. I guess the second explanation is a bit forced but it was like 　　 Him: Give me that ball punk.　　Me: I don't think so.(shiver)　　 So he just asked went to commandeer another ball. But then the owner of that ball actually stood up to him.So he came to me again a greedy spark in his eye. He demanded for my ball agin.And when I didn't give it to him he got really mad, and of corse I was mader. so we started hurling insults at each other. Because he was probably more experience,He won out after a minute, I got a all teary and through my ball into the bushes. He quickly took it and started playing with it. I was so mad.You know what is worse? My so called friends didn't even try to comfort me. Perhaps they were a bit uncomfortable with it. So you can see why I'm totally not happy to see him. So this time around, I really hope I can get into another shouting match. Cause I've learned a few choicest swear words. But it doesn't come to that. He goes before I can do it this time around, he's not interested in shouting matches. That was kind of lucky
