Said family has a hateful rivalry with the Bijogi family, who manage a Taoist temple next door. In the middle of all this, Bijogi Taiga has had a crush on Sagimiya Anna, the demure daughter of the priest, since childhood.   Little did he know, the Sagimiya are involved in very un-Catholic activities such as trying to resurrect the spirit of Marie-Thérèse Charlotte, the daughter of the late French queen Marie Antoinette and who has a seemingly endless appetite for food. And since he has found out, he will have to "collaborate"—i.e. be the human sacrifice to that end. Nevertheless, just before the "ritual," Taiga decides to confess his love to Anna and is struck by a lightning bolt the second after. He miraculously survives without a scratch, but somehow finds himself in a body slightly more... blonde and feminine.

Hey, I technically got this up on Sunday, right? Ah, I suppose it doesn't matter if you're not listening to this episode on the day it was posted anyway. Sorry for the delay, but the rough audio for this episode was over four hours long and I had to edit it instead of Colton. But hopefully because this is such a long - and stuffed - episode it was well worth the wait! That's right, our long awaited Weekly Shonen Sunday episode is finally here! We're joined by returning guest and good friends Bomber D Rufi, who recently started a blog dedicated to recapping each new issue of the oft underappreciated magazine. We cover several of Sunday's current hits and other underlooked gems in the lineup, as well as some of the most notable mangaka working for the imprint! To top it off, we answer two of the most pressing questions when it comes to Shonen Sunday: why is it so unpopular compared to Shonen Jump, and why the hell was Keijo!!!!!!!! even a thing?!!!!!!!! But that's not all! We've got our regular news coverage to go over, running down series that have ended or are ending soon and some exciting new licenses courtesy of Kodansha USA. Plus, we discuss the latest two Jump Starts, Demon Prince Poro's Diaries and Hungry Marie! Do these two new comedies bring some fresh humor to Jump's lineup, or are their jokes as stale and stagnant as Keijo!!!!!!!!'s sales? Why not spend your next lazy Sunday afternoon listening to this podcast and find out! 005 - Welcome back to another week of podcasting. Do you enjoy the every other week format? We hope so, but feel free to give us some feedback about the show, be that the content, the duration or the schedule. On to business, we have a new Unpopular Comic Opinion for you, spearheaded by Steve. On the Best/Worst Comic I read this week, we have Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps and Hungry Marie... we'll see which is which. Lastly, an advanced review for X-O Manowar #1, coming soon from Valiant Comics. Oh, I should mention that we had internet problems several times throughout so the video is way jacked up, but the audio is fine.
