Had some fun with one Half of my cohost , as she tells some of her ghost experiences..
Good morning we hit the ground running this morning.
Episode 79 In Part 2 of our Bath School Massacre series, we step back from the timeline to ask the harder questions: what drives an otherwise rational man to the brink of ruin—and what finally pushes him over the edge? We'll uncover just how long, and how meticulously, Andrew Kehoe had been planning his attack, and the unsettling foresight that made the tragedy possible. From there, we confront the psychology behind Kehoe's actions, the societal pressures that fed his resentment, and the dangerous mix of grievance and obsession that culminated in tragedy. We don't shy away from the uncomfortable truths about acts of mass murder, because the only redemption in a story like this is in asking what we can learn—and how we can do better.

Episode 78 On May 18, 1927, the quiet farming town of Bath, Michigan, was shattered by the deadliest school massacre in U.S. history. Long before Columbine, Sandy Hook, or Parkland, one man wired an entire school with explosives — and changed the way America would understand mass violence forever. In this episode of Crime to Burn, we dig into the life and mind of Andrew Kehoe — a farmer, a school board treasurer, and the man who became America's first school bomber. What drove him from grievances and financial struggles to an act of calculated terror? Was it narcissism, psychopathy, or something even more insidious simmering beneath the surface? Join us as we walk through the events of that fateful day, the psychology of grievance and vengeance, and the community that was left to pick up the pieces. Listener discretion is advised. Gen Z leads protests against censorship and corruption, storming parliament and burning the building. 00:03:33 – Ministry of Information Tyranny The Marxist-led Ministry of Information ordered the bans, sparking a nationwide uprising. Police killed 22 protesters and wounded 300, but the prime minister and home minister were forced to resign. 00:07:20 – Internet Revolt vs. Color Revolution Unlike CIA-backed “color revolutions,” Nepal's revolt is leaderless and grassroots. Protesters used TikTok and Reddit to bypass internet blackouts, proving decentralized resistance can work. 00:12:47 – Martial Law Conditioning Commentary ties Trump's crime crackdowns to martial law conditioning. Troop deployments in U.S. cities are framed as “emergencies” to normalize military presence in civilian life. 00:19:11 – UK Frees London Bomber A UK judge frees 7/7 London bombing mastermind Rashid Aswat while mothers are jailed for social media posts. What do you do when your Humvee gets rocked by an IED blast… and a suspicious car creeps toward you through the dust? Most people freeze. Navy Corpsman Noi Dumpit didn't. He confronted the driver — thinking it could be his last moment — and somehow chose not to pull the trigger. In this episode of Urban Valor, Noi relives the chaos of Fallujah, where life and death blurred by the second. He breaks down the day his Humvee was launched into the air by a vehicle-borne IED, and the surreal moment that followed when he faced a possible suicide bomber. But the IED blast was only one chapter. Noi also opens up about his post-deployment struggles, the moral confusion of letting terrorists through checkpoints, and how martial arts eventually became his path to healing. From battlefield trauma to rebuilding a business back home, this story is raw, real, and unforgettable.
Are they really the next best thing, or are they just like everyone else? Today I had a new voice note coaching client who came to me spiraling and overthinking about her potential new boo. He was throwing everything at her: masculine energy, plans, good vibes, and all of a sudden, everything shifted. She gave me permission to share her question live on the podcast as well as my response. In this episode, I'll talk about what to do when your nervous system goes into overdrive, how to handle the fear of being too much or ruining it before it even starts, and what happens when you sleep with someone quickly and the attachment spikes. Enjoyed this episode or the podcast in general? Send me a text message:A sleek, swept-wing silhouette streaks across the sky—not a fighter, but America's first jet-powered nuclear bomber. The Boeing B-47 Stratojet wasn't just revolutionary; it was the aircraft that defined what modern jets would become.Despite standing at the heart of America's Cold War nuclear deterrent, the B-47 has faded from public memory, overshadowed by its longer-serving sibling, the B-52. Yet this forgotten bomber changed aviation forever. Its groundbreaking design—featuring 35-degree swept wings, pod-mounted engines, and a bicycle landing gear system—established the template for virtually every commercial jetliner that followed. When you board any modern airliner, you're experiencing the B-47's enduring legacy. The Stratojet's story is one of innovation balanced against danger. Nicknamed "the crew killer," it demanded absolute precision from its pilots, especially when navigating the deadly "coffin corner" at high altitudes where the margin between stall speed and critical Mach number shrank to mere knots. Throughout its service, approximately 10% of the fleet was lost in accidents, claiming 464 crew lives—a sobering reminder of aviation's bleeding edge.Beyond its role as a nuclear bomber, the B-47 served as a reconnaissance platform, electronic warfare aircraft, and testbed for advanced systems. Its RB-47 variants conducted dangerous intelligence-gathering missions along Soviet borders, sometimes paying the ultimate price when shot down over contested airspace. These missions represented the Cold War at its most real—neither peace nor open conflict, but a deadly serious game of technological cat-and-mouse.The next time you look skyward at a passing jetliner, remember the forgotten bomber that revolutionized flight. Though only about 20 of the 2,000+ B-47s built survive in museums today, its influence continues to soar through our skies, a testament to how military innovation shaped our modern world of travel.Support the showTo help support this podcast and become a PilotPhotog ProCast member: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1555784/supportIf you enjoy this episode, subscribe to this podcast, you can find links to most podcast streaming services here: PilotPhotog Podcast (buzzsprout.com) Sign up for the free weekly newsletter Hangar Flyingwith Tog here: https://hangarflyingwithtog.com You can check out my YouTube channel for many videos on fighter planes here: https://youtube.com/c/PilotPhotog If you'd like to support this podcast via Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/PilotPhotog And finally, you can follow me on Twitter here: https://twitter.com/pilotphotog

Our guest today is Phyllis Elmore, a remarkable woman whose story is as unforgettable as the quilts that helped shape her life.Phyllis is the author of Quilt of Souls, a powerful and deeply personal memoir that has touched readers across the country. Born in the Detroit and raised by her grandmother Lula in rural Alabama, Phyllis found herself immersed in a world of deep wisdom, quiet strength, and generational resilience. It was there, surrounded by women who stitched their pain, perseverance, and history into quilts, that Phyllis discovered healing—and the true meaning of family. In 1973, Phyllis joined the United States Air Force and was one of the first female Aircraft Pneudraulic Specialist for the B-52 Bomber. After leaving the Air Force she attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, graduating with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology. In 2001, she joined the Army National Guard as an active-duty guard member. It's also noteworthy to mention that Phyllis was one of only a handful of women in the military who served in three major military conflicts including the Vietnam Era where she served a temporary duty assignment to Vietnam before the 1975 fall of Saigon. She was also deployed to Saudi Arabia as a member of Operation Desert Storm, and in December 2003 as a member of the Army National Guard where she was deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. In her civilian career she worked as a counselor for incarcerated youth and for women who were victims of domestic violence. She also spent ten years as a Substance Abuse Counseling Supervisor. In her remarkable book Quilt of Souls, Phyllis shares stories that were nearly lost stories of the Black women who raised children not theirs, who held families together through hardship, and who passed down their heritage through hands that stitched, cooked, comforted, and carried so much. Her writing is rich, lyrical, and full of love—an act of remembrance and a celebration of the strength it takes to keep going, and to keep telling the truth.(3:11) Phyllis recounts being uprooted from Detroit at age four and sent to rural Alabama to live with her grandmother, Lula. She describes the powerful emotional refuge of Lula's quilts—especially one that made her feel truly safe for the first time.(8:03) We get to know Grandmother Lula, an indomitable force who stitched not only quilts but entire communities together. Lula lived to be 105 years old and was threading a needle at 100.(15:55) Phyllis reflects on her return to Detroit as a teen, where she was labeled “incorrigible”—and how those experiences shaped her decision to join the U.S. Air Force.(23:57) After her military service, Phyllis worked as a counselor for incarcerated youth and women facing domestic abuse. Hear how she channeled her life experiences into serving others.(27:30) What inspired Quilt of Souls? Phyllis shares the moment she realized that the stories she carried could—and should—be written down.(30:39) She recalls a particularly poignant story unearthed during her research—one that stuck with her and shaped the book's message.(34:27) Meet Miss Jubilee and hear about the extraordinary quilts and lives Phyllis encountered while researching her memoir.(40:43) Discover the Quilt of Souls Preservation Project and get a preview of Phyllis' upcoming Quilt of Souls Gathering in June 2026.(46:15) Phyllis reveals what she hopes readers take away from Quilt of Souls—and why she believes it's never too late to “right” your story.(51:00) What didn't we ask that she wishes we had? Phyllis gives us a thoughtful answer.(52:10) Want to connect with Phyllis? Visit www.thequiltofsouls.com or email her at thequiltofsouls@yahoo.com.
