The last episode of Comic Bastards Podcast.
035 - Welcome to this week's show. It's just a regular review week for me, a little bit of the new, a little bit of the continuing... ongoing... whatever. I'll leave the list below, but it's 13 minutes of your life, feel free to be surprised!Comic Books covered on this episode:Justice League: No Justice #1Sideways #4The Immortal Men #2Relay #1RoboCop: Citizen's Arrest #2Savage Takes: Vampirella #1
034 - Back finally with a new episode! Really I finally had something worth talking about, too bad for you it's all comics you can't read yet! That's right; I have six new issues to talk about that will either be out at the end of the month or next month. I'd usually list them right now, but you can head over to the review section and get a preview if you need one. Otherwise, just be surprised.
033 - Back with more comics for you. Mostly new issues, but this is the first week that I haven't been slamming through graphic novels. Though I could have done that again this week, those reviews will be up later, and I don't want to spoil them. Perhaps next time. Right now though I'm going to get vague and save the spoilers for once! Earmuffs off people, that and it's like 90 today where I live so you'll just look like an asshole.Comic Books covered in this episode:RoboCop: Citizen's Arrest #1Sideways #2-3The Immortal Men #1Gideon Falls #2Crude #1The Dead Hand #1Thanks for listening and be sure to find me on Twitter or leave a comment. 032 - I'm back mother fuckers! Yeah, I know it's been a while, and I won't be offering any apologies... okay, sorry! Anyway, if you don't follow my reviews on the site, then that's probably for the best for this episode because I'm going to cover the things I've been reviewing, both the good and the bad!Comic Books and Manga covered in this episode:Cici's JournalOut of NothingCoffin CrushersPeter & Ernesto: A Tale of Two SlothsFire Punch vol. 2Astra: Lost in Space vol. 2Prison School vol. 9
031 - Well I finally got an episode done! I guess that landmark 30th episode was just too much to top right? Huh? Wasn't it? Fucking whatever. After I rant, I do cover some current news that will probably excite some of you! It's about Vertigo Comics so just put on your jizz shorts and get ready! Now, I know I usually cover comics, but I've been reading nothing but manga this week in an effort to clear off my desk... so I'm only talking about manga. Enjoy!Manga covered in this episode:Black Clover vol. 10Food Wars! vol. 21-22Twin Star Exorcists vol. 10-11Astra: Lost in Space vol. 1Nisekoi: False Love vol. 21-25
030 - Plenty of love in the air on this podcast, but only because I forgot to close the window! No idea what that means, I'm just doing the obligatory acknowledgment of Valentines. I'll do the same next month for St. Drunk People's Day. I cover a lot of comics on the show today. All but two of them released today. If you don't want the advanced reviews spoiled for you, stop listening after I talk about Sideways. I would give you an exact time, but then I'd have to listen to the show, and I'm not going to do that!Comic Books covered in this episode:Death of Love #1Ghost Money #7Giants #3Judas #3Ninjak #4Sideways #1Advanced Reviews:Oblivion Song #1The Beef #1
029 - I've got a manga filled episode for you this week. In the meantime, enjoy two advanced reviews for some upcoming Image Comic releases!Comic books covered in this episode:The Silencer #1Bonehead #2Gideon Falls #1Infidel #1
027 - I saved this one for a little later in the day because I kind of go off on a comic. It's story time as I open up a little about my life, but it's definitely not what you think. It's about cats. My cats. You enjoy that. On the comic side, it's quick and dirty this week so check it out!Comic Books covered in this episode:Doomsday Clock #3The Wild Storm #11Gears of War #1Umami #3The Three Rooms in Valerie's Head
025 - This week on the show it's all about the first issues again. Yeah, there were just too many first issues to ignore and not enough returning crap that I read. There's also a manga pick so enjoy that one person who listens and likes both comics and manga. You know who you are, I don't, but you do.Titles covered in this episode:James Bond: The Body #1Damage #1Go West #1Belle #1Ice Cream Man #1Children of the Whales vol. 1
025 - Whoo! Made it to 25, that counts right? Hey, a big sorry for being gone for a few weeks, I'm sure you understand, and it doesn't seem like anyone was having a holiday breakdown without the show. 024 - On this week's show I talk about nothing, other than comics that is because it's a comic podcast. Duh! I have nothing to write here, but there needs to be something... did you know that in Dragon Ball Z they wished for Android 18 to have a vagina? Look it up, but you might want to word it differently. That has nothing to do with the rest of the show.Comic Books covered in this episode:Judas #1Kid Lobotomy #3Jughead: The Hunger #2Under #1Giants #1
023 - Keeping this short this week! I have four books to cover with you and that's about all. It's back to being quick and easy to enjoy. Also, be sure to answer my question at the end of the show!Comic Books covered in this episode:Demon vol. 3Lizard Men #3Chronospire #1Punchline #1-3

Thanks for listening!Books covered in this episode:Batman: Who Laughs #1Dark Fang #1Ninja-K #1Little Guardians
019 - This week is an audio-only podcast, but looking at the low amount of views I might just be doing an audio podcast going forward. I'm sick as hell this week and not in a rock'n'roll kinda way. Also, I'm shaking things up by talking about Bendis signing to DC and Disney attempting to buy Fox. I ran long and reviewed three books as well. Comics/manga covered on this episode: Prison School vol. 8 Umami #1 Kid Lobotomy #2
018 - The Halloween candy hangover is real people! I would say sorry for being late, but I haven't established a consistent time for this podcast yet. 009 - Get ready for something different! This is not the return of the usual Comic Bastards Podcast that you may have been waiting for. Instead, it's something different. It's just me, Dustin, and I'm going to review some books... quickly. Okay, not that quick it turns out, but I will run through about seven or eight titles in what I hope will be a weekly show that I put together. Be sure to check out the video as well... it's me staring at the camera and doodling on the screen... enjoy?
008 - This week on the show we start with anything other than comics! That's right, more beverages and wrestling, but after that, it's a big review episode. We'll break it down for you below on what titles we cover. After reviews, we return to our "Year of the Bastard" segment in which we look at the fourth volume of Transmetropolitan which is where Steve got the name for the segment. We'll be back in two weeks!
By Dustin Cabeal 007 - This week on the cast we have only two subjects to talk about. The first being the Marvel flub earlier in the week. Steve and Dustin will walk through some of the issues they feel Marvel is dealing with while dissecting the comment made by the Marvel sales VP. After that we continue our segment "Year of the Bastard" with a look at the second volume of Transmetropolitan by Warren Ellis, Darick Robertson and Rodney Ramos. Please feel free to leave comments, subscribe and add to the discussion in anyway you can think of, thank for listening.
006 - I'm going to be upfront and tell you that if you don't like kids on podcasts, then you're going to hate this episode. Be it that Steve and I both have kids, it was bound to happen, so consider yourself forewarned. As for the actual meat of the podcast, we talk about Mt. Dew... then the Justice League trailer that premiered. Iron Fist is discussed slightly, but only the first two episodes. A special treat is a new segment called "Askhole with the Bastards" in which lightning round questions are shot off. We'll be getting your Askhole questions in the future if you like this segment. Lastly, an impromptu unboxing of two Loot Wears packages... it's nuck and futs folks, stay with us, stay with us.
005 - Welcome back to another week of podcasting. Do you enjoy the every other week format? We hope so, but feel free to give us some feedback about the show, be that the content, the duration or the schedule. On to business, we have a new Unpopular Comic Opinion for you, spearheaded by Steve. On the Best/Worst Comic I read this week, we have Hal Jordan and the Green Lantern Corps and Hungry Marie... we'll see which is which. Lastly, an advanced review for X-O Manowar #1, coming soon from Valiant Comics. Oh, I should mention that we had internet problems several times throughout so the video is way jacked up, but the audio is fine.
By Dustin Cabeal 004 - It's Comic Bastards Podcast time. This week we dive into a new segment called, "Steve Hates TV." That is to say; we're going to discuss the first three episodes of DC and NBC's Powerless! That's a comedy I promise. After we're all tuckered out on TV, we begin another new segment in which we're spending a year on Transmetropolitan called "Year of the Bastard." It's pretty relevant to what's going on in the world these days, and so if you'd like to join us, we'll be covering volume 1 "Back on the Street" on this episode and then "Lust for Life" in a month from now. We encourage you to ask us questions, make comments, point out things we've missed and join us for the live stream to interact with us. Now, on to the show!
Episode 003: Hopefully, you're getting used to the bi-weekly schedule we have going for the new Comic Bastards Podcast. We're continuing to deliver a different type of show and with that comes an all review episode. We have a lot to talk about and we hope you'll listen and enjoy. Books reviewed by Steve: Bullseye Slapstick The Unworthy Thor Tomboy The Wild Storm Books reviewed by Dustin: Deathstroke Super Sons Sink Death be Damned WWE Street Tiger The Wild Storm You can listen or download below, whatever the case give it a second to catch up and it will work quite well or you can watch the recording of the live stream (which happens every other Saturday at 2 pm PST) on YouTube. Thanks and if you are listening, just leave us a comment and let us know we're not just talking to ourselves.
Welcome back to a new episode of our new, but not new, comic book podcast. Today we have two segments for you to listen to. Unpopular Comic Opinions: Comic Books are only surviving because of Hollywood The Best/Worst Thing I Read This Week: Doom Patrol #4, U.S.Avengers #1 If you missed our live stream you can watch the video below, but of course if you want the full audio experience it's below or can be subscribed to on iTunes or Google Play. Thank you for listening and we'll be back in two weeks!
001 - Welcome to the first episode of the brand new Comic Bastards Podcast. Join Dustin and Steve as they dive into the world of comic books, comic book movies and that thing called nerdom! We're trying something new this go around. While this episode is a bit of catching up and starting over, we'll be doing less news and more conversations and reviews. The first segment we introduce today is a little something we like to call "The Best/Worst Thing I Read This Week". Closing the show out we also have a reading recommendation for you and we decided to promote our good friend Justin Wood's new comic book NPCs #1: The Inventor. You can purchase the first issue of Justin's NPCs on Amazon!
