April 18, 2025 - Season 15, Episode 121 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the long interview that free agent QB Aaron Rodgers had on The Pat McAfee Show on Thursday. The Rodgers interview was nearly 40 minutes in length, and it provided a lot of talking points for us to discuss. Alex and I also go over our main takeaways that seemed useful stemming from that Thursday interview. We also discuss the stance the steelers should have with Rodgers at this point when it comes to a possible time frame they need his decision by. After discussing Rodgers to open the show we move on to our annual pre-draft roundtable discussion with several contributors of the site. The roundtable this year includes Joe Clark, Ross McCorkle, Josh Carney, Jonathan Heitritter, Nate Kosko, Jake Brockhoff, and Steven Pavelka all joining the show to discuss several 2025 draft prospects. We address several main position groups the Steelers are likely to have the most interest in this year. We name several late round draft sleeper prospects in this show, and we get the members of the roundtable to each name their top few choices to be the steelers first-round selection this year as well. This 117-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap as well. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

April 4, 2025 - Season 15, Episode 115 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning episode, Josh Carney and Ross McCorkle both sit in for Alex Kozora, who is limited with an upper body injury. We start this show by going over a recent debit to the salary cap that the Pittsburgh Steelers received on Thursday that revolves around former WR Mike Williams. I explain why that debit came as a surprise. While we are all waiting for free agent QB Aaron Rodgers to make his decision, the three of us discuss his possible contract asking price and especially on the heels of Las Vegas Raiders QB Geno Smith agreeing to a two-year extension on Thursday. We also talk about where the Steelers are most likely to select a quarterback in the 2025 NFL Draft and if they would dare consider picking one in the first round. The Steelers have had several more pre-draft visitors at their facility since our Wednesday show so the three of us go over that full list of players. Texas WR Matthew Golden, who many believe will be a first-round selection this year, was one of those recent visitors so we discuss his trip to Pittsburgh and what it might mean. All three of us discuss several members of the wide receiver and running back draft class this year as it relates to the Steelers. Might the Steelers really consider trading WR George Pickens during the draft? We discuss that possibility during this show as well. Josh posted a new mock draft version on Friday morning so the three of us review his six selections for the Steelers. Later in this Friday show, the three of us discuss the Steelers offseason practice schedule that was released on Thursday. Additionally, we discuss if the Steelers might break out another alternate uniform during the 2025 regular season. Would Hard Knocks dare feature the Steelers in 2025? We discuss the possibility of that happening during this show as well. This 98-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap as well. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

February 5, 2025 - Season 15, Episode 88 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning episode, Alex Kozora and I get right to discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers possibly trading for Los Angeles Rams WR Cooper Kupp this offseason now that it's know that he is on the market. We discuss whether Kupp fits with the Steelers, what Pittsburgh might be willing to give up for him, the contract issue, and if a trade is even worth pursuing. On Tuesday, Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that Steelers OC Arthur Smith did not want QB Russell Wilson changing plays at the line of scrimmage during the latter portion of the 2024 regular season and how that supposedly caused some friction between the two. Alex and I thoroughly discuss Dulac's report and how more context certainly seems to be needed to speculate deeper on the supposed rift and if the two would be able to, or want to, work together moving forward should Wilson be re-signed this offseason. Alex released his first 2025 mock draft for the Steelers this week, so we quickly go over each of his selections later in this show. With our SD crew now back from the 2025 Shrine Bowl in Texas, Alex and I conduct a roundtable discussion with Joe Clark, Josh Carney, Melanie Friedlander, and Steven Pavelka. We discuss several players that took part in the annual Shrine Bowl and cover several position groups as part of the discussion. We discuss Shrine Bowl players that fit the Steelers and much more.
