HED: Reaction to 49ers drama, Seahawks future & Steelers Add Rodgers + Ramsey | Richard Sherman & Darius SlayDEK: Richard Sherman and Darius Slay kick off the new season of The Richard Sherman Show with a no-filter breakdown of what’s happening across the NFL. From the Pittsburgh Steelers’ aggressive offseason moves — adding Aaron Rodgers and trading for Jalen Ramsey — to the San Francisco 49ers’ latest contract drama with Jauan Jennings, and the Seattle Seahawks' rookie getting guaranteed deals, no team is off-limits. Slay reveals why he chose Pittsburgh, what it’s like to reunite with his former DC, and how veteran leadership can transform a franchise. Then the guys go league-wide: breaking down Sauce Gardner’s massive payday, wide receiver and cornerback rankings, and why A.J. Brown might be the most disrespected WR in the league. They also sound off on Tyreek Hill’s unreal 10.1 sprint time, react to Teddy Bridgewater’s controversial high school suspension, and give a big salute to Ndamukong Suh as he retires from the NFL. 1. In the Broncos eyes, what does a successful step forward for Bo Nix in Year 2 look like? Based on your conversations with folks around the league, what is the overall sentiment about Bo Nix? 2. Based on the latest intel you have, which one of those four players (Courtland Sutton, Zach Allen, Nik Bonitto, John Franklin-Myers) would you say is the most likely to receive a contract extension and which one of those four is the least likely to get one? Is it reasonable to anticipate an extension or two getting done before Week 1?3. Do you see the Broncos and GM George Paton agreeing to an extension some time within the next 12 months, if not sooner?4. In free agency, the Broncos were selective, yet aggressive as they signed four notable players in S Talanoa Hufanga, LB Dre Greenlaw, TE Evan Engram, and RB J.K. Dobbins. While all four signees have had star-studded seasons recently, they also come with high injury risk. Which one of those free agent acquisitions do you think is most important when it comes to helping the Broncos achieve their full potential in 2025?5. What exactly does Jahdae Barron bring to the Broncos defense that was lacking in 2024?6. Is it reasonable for Broncos fans to expect R.J. Harvey to total 1000+ yards from scrimmage this season?7. Do the Broncos see Sai'Vion Jones as a strong candidate to replace John Franklin-Myers in 2026 should the latter depart in free agency?8. While there are currently four EDGE rushers ahead of him on the depth chart, would it surprise you if Que Robinson leapfrogs one of them at some point this season for reasons other than injury?9. If you had to bet today, which one of those four WR's (DeVaughn Vele, Pat Bryant, Marvin Mims, Troy Franklin) would be your favorite to eventually end up in that WR2 role for the Broncos?10. Record-wise, what would you say is the floor and ceiling for the 2025 Denver Broncos?

Is there an advantage at either position, and should this shape your draft strategy? We've also got news and notes (11:15) on Terry McLaurin and Colston Loveland before we get to Jamey's first two WR tiers (14:25)! Does Amon-Ra St. Brown belong in Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3!? ... We reveal Tiers 3 and 4 (18:30) for Jamey. Why is Brian Thomas Jr. in Tier 3 instead of Tier 2? At what point in Tier 3 do we start questioning these WRs? Then we move on to Tier 5 (25:15) which takes us to the 2/3 turn in drafts. Should Jaxon Smith-Njigba be in a higher tier? Meanwhile, Tier 6 (30:50) is a big tier with a mix of young talent and proven veterans, but should these WRs be drafted ahead of the stud quarterbacks? ... Tier 7 (39:30) is littered with WRs who could be great if things break right, but also have some downside. We're talking about Jerry Jeudy, Zay Flowers, Jameson Williams, DeVonta Smith and more. Tier 8 (44:15) has one player who seems to stand out above the rest. Tiers 9 (47:50) and 10 (56:10) also feature players with upside, but they are less proven. Within these tiers we discuss the 49ers, Packers and Colts WRs, among others. And stay tuned for the rest of the tiers and WRs you could take with your last pick ... Jeff breaks down why going RB-heavy early, the old-school “Robust RB” approach, is more risky than rewarding in today's fantasy landscape. He lays out the key reasons this strategy puts you at a disadvantage, from injury volatility to positional depth and opportunity cost. Then he dives into the two RB strategies that actually give you an edge: Hero RB and Zero RB. Jeff explains the pros of each, when to use them, and how to execute them. Whether you're anchoring your roster with a bell cow or building from the WR position and attacking RB later, he has you covered. If you want to walk into your draft with a real plan at the most volatile position in fantasy, this episode is for you. Get Jeff's content: FTN Fantasy

THE BOOK: Is done. Yes you can still get in on The Kickstarter (but not the name/sentence levels). Also a Kindle Edition is now live. MGoBlog.com/25 Lineup: Sam, Seth, Craig, and Miz. Brian's still on dad duty; Ira's on a plane. Things Discussed: Wink Martindale criticism: The Emotional Rollercoaster sweatshirt from Sack the Stigma is great but Wink is cutting off the sleeves, which are the best part. Wink Martindale praise: His defensive approach changed to be much more college late in the season. Can't be in his head but we think he was having guys make reads that they were missing (examples: Zeke Berry nickel blitz from nowhere on the USC TD, or Barham leaving an RB wide open in the flat) and trying to play attention games with Mason Graham (see: the 3rd down sets). That's how the game is played in the NFL but in college it's much more straightforward. This is praise because he realized what was happening and changed what he was doing, which is extremely hard for people to do. Everybody was coming from success, so they had to get comfortable with each other. Was a big thing for the player as well. Will Johnson noted some of these players need the A and B explained before you tell them to do C. Rod Moore: Expect him to play, not sure how rusty he's going to be and what's the timeline. We'll hear from Rod when Sam interviews him. Mikey Keene vs Bryce Underwood: VERY different offensive planning. Kinds of passes are different, how you use his legs is different, how much pre-snap reading you're doing is different. Having Keene out in spring gave the offense clarity. Chip Lindsey offense: He uses RPOs and running QBs but he cuts back on the running and focuses on making the QBs more efficient. He also will turn regular routes into long bombs—they missed one to Channing Goodwin in the spring but it was open. RPOs and screens? Well you have to show you can beat man coverage to access those, and that means dropping back with a QB who can be safe in the pocket long enough to find his leverage and deliver an accurate pass all over the field to receives who create their own space. Do we have that QB, those WRs, that OL? OL: Sam's discussion with Sherrone started with Blake Frazier (because Sam asked) but he also said Andrew Babalola and Ty Haywood are more athletically talented than ANY guy they've had at Michigan until now. Link is battling with Frazier and Babalola for LT. Crippen: Not sure how much better he can get because his reads are spot-on, but versus top-of-the-line DTs who knew what's coming Crippen got physically manhandled. He's alright, but you need something on this offense that is better than alright if you want to take the pressure off of Bryce/his protection/his receivers. That said, centers pop late—how many times have we seen an Anderson or Bihl or Kugler or Vastardis have a great 5th year. WRs: Are probably a lot better than their stats last year (fewest WR yards since 1973, would have been bottom-third among Bo teams.) But there could be a player or three in there—they didn't have the passing. Warren didn't know what he was looking at half the time and wasn't accurate. Orji had no downfield accuracy at all. Defense knew it. Link vs Ohio State/Alabama? Did well, but the context was Michigan took dropbacks out of the offense.
