It's a new year, but the same ole Jeff Mans as he is fired up about the end of the 2025 NFL regular season and the NFL playoffs starting this week. Mans recaps a wild few days of NFL coaching firings, including a big surprise in Baltimore as John Harbaugh was let go after 18 years of leading the Ravens. He ranks all seven available jobs and gives some of his favorite candidates to land those gigs here. Then it is time to hand out some hardware as Jeff Mans gives out his Fantasy Football MVPs of the 2025 season. Mans gives out a winner and runner-up at QB, RB, WR, and TE for the season and discusses why each was deserving of the award. Since there can only be one true winner, he anoints one player as the true Most Valuable Fantasy Football Player of 2025. Jeff also gives out an award for best waiver wire pickup of the year for each position, including the runaway overall winner of that award. As he does every year, Mans goes over every NFL playoff game and fills out his bracket all the way through Super Bowl 60. It's a real wide-open race, so tune in to see why he chose his final two teams here. Finally, he gives out a +130 bet for the first game of the Super Wild Card Round between the Rams and the Panthers. We start the show the only way we know how: talking about the sports weekend, rookie wide receivers who immediately become That Guy, and what everyone's drinking, plus a quick reminder that Mike DeWine still sucks. Comedian Alex Schubert hangs out and delivers a truly unhinged breakdown of where every NFL quarterback would've been on January 6 (yes, it comes back twice). We bounce around from super high-ABV beers to the Columbus Crew coach being an absolute zaddy before diving into real football chaos. The Colts pull off back-to-back fake punts, the Jets somehow finish an entire season without recording a single interception, and Zac Taylor becomes the main character for all the wrong reasons: getting booed, kept by the Bengals, and ultimately winning MF'er of the Week for complaining after Myles Garrett's sack celebration. We debate whether Garrett's sack record actually counts in a 17-game season, argue about the most unbreakable records in sports, and spiral into fantasy football hell, including a punishment that requires eating 71 hot dogs, plus a league where everyone gets punished just for existing. We wrap with College Football Playoff chaos (we're all in on Indiana), why bye teams are getting cooked, and the A's Vegas move hitting a wall after their trademark gets rejected. It's long. It's dumb. It's exactly what this show is.
FOX Sports' lead College Football analyst Joel Klatt makes his picks for the College Football Playoff Semifinals between Indiana & Oregon and Miami vs Ole Miss. He explains why we should be talking about this Indiana team as one of the most dominant teams in recent memory as they take on the Ducks. Klatt points out Oregon's best path to an upset against the only unbeaten team in the country. He then makes his pick as Miami takes on an Ole Miss team that is coming off a huge win over Georgia but also dealing with continued coaching uncertainty as several staff members are juggling two jobs – for Lane Kiffin's LSU team and for the Rebels - as they prepare for the biggest game in Ole Miss history. Klatt also reacts to the latest Portal news as Indiana has found their QB and WR combo for next year's team. He also discusses the latest moves by Penn State, bringing in DC D'Anton Lynn from USC and Matt Campbell's QB from Iowa State, Rocco Becht. Klatt reacts to Kyle Whittingham's hires at OC and DC for Michigan and the news that several key players for Michigan have entered the Transfer Portal. 0:00-1:56 Intro1:57-14:39 Peach Bowl preview14:40-22:52 Fiesta Bowl preview22:53-27:22 Transfer portal news around CFB Use my code for 10% off your next SeatGeek order*: https://seatgeek.onelink.me/RrnK/KLATT10 Sponsored by SeatGeek. *Restrictions apply. We kick off the College Football Playoff Quarterfinals with an absolute barn burner in the Cotton Bowl. Miami and Ohio State clearly have two of the best defenses in all the land and this is what playoff football is supposed to look like. The questions coming in were evident… Can Carson Beck win the big one? Can Miami stop Ohio State's WR's? Will Ryan Day dye his beard again?Early on it was Miami's offensive and defensive fronts but the Ohio State offense came alive late… An absolute GONG SHOW of a game!We will discuss all those questions and more as we break down what happened on New Year's Eve!Follow us on other platforms here:HOF Bets: https://hof-bets.app.link/millygoats (Promo Code: MILLYGOATS)Twitter - https://www.twitter.com/MillyGoatsInstagram - https://www.instagram.com/TheMillyGoatsYouTube - https://www.youtube.com/@TheMillyGoatsTwitch - https://www.twitch.tv/TheMillyGoatsPodcastTikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@TheMillyGoatsApple Pod - https://rb.gy/0meu1Spotify Pod - https://t.ly/ZUfObWeb - https://themillygoats.godaddysites.com/

It's a Non-Point Scoring Season primer, on this week's Strat Sesh!As the season winds down and fantasy managers set their final championship week lineups, TommyB and SFD are on to the NPSS without looking back. The guys do a small post mortem on the 2025 fantasy season, contemplating the leagues that held their attention and the leagues where they went through the motions. Then, action items abound as the guys discuss the tide shifting away from RBs and back towards WRs. Tommy's NumbersButt10 (NB10) score proves to be exceptionally accurate at determining WR performance, but also indicates that the position isn't quite as stocked as it was even a year ago. They discuss using the NB10 to navigate the WR position and trading cross-positionally; spending draft capital at the right time to cash in for NB10 goodness; the beginnings of a TE model (with an unexpected key metric); and, of course, identifying potential future infinity stones. Welcome back to Hardcore Penn State Football, the go-to podcast for unfiltered breakdowns, exclusive insights, and fiery debates on Nittany Lions football! In this jam-packed episode, hosts Cory Lestochi & Shawn Kane unpack the latest whirlwind developments in Happy Valley under new head coach Matt Campbell. As the team gears up for the Pinstripe Bowl and eyes a 2026 rebound, we're diving into the recruiting surge, the explosive leaked audio from AD Pat Kraft paired with King Mack's candid remarks, Nick Singleton's big Senior Bowl invite, and the uncertain status of QB Ethan Grunkemeyer. From drama to draft buzz, this episode has it all – tune in for expert analysis and what it means for PSU's path forward in the Big Ten. The Nittany Lions are back in beast mode on the recruiting front! With Matt Campbell at the wheel, PSU is aggressively rebuilding after the Franklin firing decimated the 2027 class and thinned out 2026 commitments. We detail the recent wave of additions to the 2026 class, including intriguing three-star safeties like Bryson Williams and other under-the-radar gems that fit Campbell's gritty, developmental style. Shawn breaks down how Campbell's staff is flipping decommits, targeting Midwest and DMV prospects, and leveraging NIL to compete with powerhouses like Ohio State. Plus, early looks at 2027 targets, such as West Coast offensive tackles where PSU is emerging as a favorite. Mike analyzes commitment trackers showing the class climbing from rock bottom to promising, with speculation on how these moves address needs at OL, DB, and WR for long-term contention. Drama alert! We dissect the controversial leaked 20-minute audio from Athletic Director Pat Kraft's players' meeting, where he rants about the coaching change, internal failures, and even takes shots at Oregon and other programs. Kraft's NSFW comments on where things went wrong – including failing to land top targets like BYU's Kalani Sitake – have gone viral, leading to his public apology and fan backlash. Then, we pivot to safety King Mack's eye-opening remarks, blaming the 6-6 season on "lack of leadership, selfishness, and buy-in" from players. Mack praises Campbell for "knowing what went wrong" and fixing it, revealing internal tensions under Kraft. Our hosts debate the fallout: Is this a wake-up call for accountability, or does it expose deeper program issues? Big news for one of PSU's stars – running back Nicholas Singleton has accepted an invitation to the 2026 Senior Bowl! As the fifth Nittany Lion to commit (joining standouts like Kaytron Allen, Drew Shelton, and Zane Durant), this is a huge showcase for Singleton to boost his NFL draft stock after a solid senior year. The quarterback room is in flux, and freshman Ethan Grunkemeyer is at the center of it. With 1,079 passing yards, 6 TDs, and 4 INTs in limited 2025 action, the former top-100 recruit (No. 5 QB in his class) is weighing his options amid the coaching transition. We explore his uncertain future – stay and compete under Campbell, or hit the transfer portal for a "best situation" in 2026? Grunkemeyer remains focused on the Pinstripe Bowl vs. Clemson, but rumors swirl about a potential reset in the QB room. Our hosts analyze his strengths (arm talent, mobility from Lewis Center, OH), areas for growth, and recruiting expert takes on whether PSU should rebuild around him or look elsewhere. Includes stats breakdowns and comparisons to past PSU QBs. We tackle your questions from the mailbag – Can Campbell salvage the recruiting classes? What's the real story behind Kraft's rant? Plus, our "Buy or Sell" segment on Grunkemeyer's stay-or-go odds and Singleton's draft projection.
