April 1, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 114 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the several things that Pittsburgh Steelers HC Mike McCarthy and team president Art Rooney II both said in recent interviews while the two were in Arizona for the NFL's annual league meetings. We first discuss whether Rooney II indeed now has a firm deadline for a decision by QB Aaron Rodgers. We also discuss what McCarthy has said recently about his conversations with Rodgers. McCarthy talked more about Steelers QB Will Howard the last few days, so we go over those quates. We also discuss McCarthy talking more about the kind of wide receiver he might be looking for in this year's draft. As part of that wide receiver discussion, Alex and I look back at some measurables from that position group that McCarthy has previously drafted while he was the head coach of the Green Bay Packers and Dallas Cowboys. We compare those measurable averages to several top wide receivers in this year's draft class. Will McCarthy, Khan, or both show up at the Indiana pro day on Wednesday? We discuss that question in addition to what McCarthy said recently about only attending one pro day so far even though he had planned to make six of them this offseason. After wrapping up all the things that McCarthy and Rooney have recently said, Alex and I discuss the probability of the Steelers selecting a quarterback in this year's draft. We look at what McCarthy seems to be looking for as far as quarterback measurables and how former Arkansas QB Taylen Green fits those. Green, by the way, is reportedly scheduled to come to Pittsburgh for a pre-drafty visit. The Steelers are also reportedly bringing in former Memphis OT Travis Burke for a pre-draft visit, so Alex and I discuss what we know about him and how he might be a day-three selection candidate for the team later this month. Alex recently spotted several key members from the Steelers at the Tennessee pro day so on the heels of those sightings, we discuss the two top cornerbacks from that school and the possibility of the Steelers selecting one of them in the first round later this month. Would the Steelers really consider selecting former Oregon TE Kenyon Sadiq in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft? We address that question thanks to recent comments made in an online chat by Gerry Dulac of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the start of the NFL league meetings in Arizona this week and how we're expected to hear from Pittsburgh Steelers HC Mike McCarthy a few times during the next two days. We recap our thoughts on the Joseph-Day addition, how he fits in Pittsburgh, his contract details, and much more. March 11, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 105 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the Baltimore Ravens reneging on their trade with the Las Vegas Raiders for EDGE Maxx Crosby because of a failed physical. We have quite a bit to say on that topic. The Ravens have since decided to sign former Cincinnati Bengals EDGE Trey Hendrickson as an unrestricted free agent, so Alex and I obviously have comments on that AFC North transaction. The Steelers agreed to terms with P Cameron Johnston and S Darnell Savage to cheap one-year contracts on Tuesday, so Alex and I go over the additions of those two players. We also discuss the projected contract numbers for both players.
