With Arizona Cardinals QB Kyler Murray driving the NFL news cycle on Tuesday thanks to him being officially released in less than week, Alex and I have a long discussion about him as it relates to him possibly being a cheap quarterback option for the Steelers , should the team ultimately not bring back QB Aaron Rodgers for whatever reason. Warren Sharp recently had a very informational post and video dedicated to Murray and his play since 2022, so Alex and I make sure to cover all of that detailed data during this show. We discuss the pros and cons related to Murray moving forward past his upcoming release and we also look ahead to the Miami Dolphins likely releasing QB Tua Tagovailoa in the coming days. Alex and I have a long discussion about what I would do at the quarterback position this offseason if I were GM Omar Khan. I lay out how I would make a serious trade inquiry for San Francisco 49ers QB Mac Jones and why. We look at diverse types of trade compensation when it comes to Jones, one of which includes Steelers OLB Nick Herbig as part of a package. Alex gives his thoughts on what I would do when it comes to looking into Jones's availability and we make sure to include the upcoming availability of Green Bay Packers QB Malik Willis in free agency as part of our discussions. March 2, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 100 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Monday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the Pittsburgh Steelers being poised to part ways with T Calvin Anderson by the start of the 2026 NFL year. We discuss the cap savings related to Anderson being released and why such a decision is likely to be made now with him. A Monday morning report indicated that Steelers T Broderick Jones needed neck fusion surgery following his 2025 injury, so Alex and I discuss that news update. The NFL has reportedly now informed all 32 teams in a memo that it prevailed in its grievance vs. the NFLPA and its “team report cards" after an arbitrator determined that the NFLPA's conduct violated the CBA and ordered it to stop making public any future report cards. Alex and I both have opinions and reactions to that Friday breaking news. A judge ruled on Thursday in favor of Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss still having a year of college eligibility remaining due to a medical hardship a few years ago, so Alex and I react to that news during this show.
