**New episode drops Friday, August 21**ENCORE PRESENTATIONWhat does a kid from Nanton, Alta., write in his private journals after spending his days influencing some of Pierre Elliott Trudeau's most controversial policies? This week on West of Centre, host Kathleen Petty takes a peek into The Coutts Diaries: Power, Politics, and Pierre Trudeau 1973-1981, with the book's editor, Ron Graham. As the prime minister's principal secretary, Jim Coutts was said to have exercised more backroom power than anyone else in modern Canadian political history. He was everywhere that mattered during the Trudeau era 50 years ago, and then went home and wrote a lot of it down.Just as you'd expect from a diary, Coutts' offers juicy insight into exactly what he thought of both Alberta premier Peter Lougheed and Progressive Conservative Party leader Joe Clark. His entries reveal how influential he was as the reviled National Energy Program was being devised in the spring of 1980. And his private anxieties about inflation, affordability, energy prices and Western alienation read like they could have been written today. As Albertans' anger toward Ottawa reached a boiling point, Coutts understood the West's legitimate grievances. But his diaries show he was a strategist first, who prioritized his party's survival no matter the cost to his reputation back home. Host: Kathleen PettyGuest: Ron GrahamProducer: Diane Yanko

July 17, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 164 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Friday morning show, Alex Kozora and I are joined once again by Joe Clark and the three of us get right into discussing the latest concerning the Pittsburgh Steelers ahead of training camp getting underway in less than two weeks. Steelers backup TE JJ Galbreath recently provided an update on fellow TE Darnell Washington and his weight, so we make sure to discuss his comments on the subject. With Joe back on the show for the first time in a while, Alex and I get his thoughts on the Steelers now that the offseason is winding down. We go over Joe's opinion on the state of the 91-man roster, favorite and least favorite offseason moves, the hiring of HC Mike McCarthy, and several things he's interested in learning about the team through the first week of training camp. After thoroughly discussing the latest topical subjects and news concerning the Steelers, in addition to Alex and I getting Joe's thoughts on the team ahead of training camp, the three of us talk in-depth about six more players in my annual 90-in-30 training camp preview series. The six players we discuss are: CB Joey Porter Jr., CB Daryl Porter, ILB Patrick Queen, S Jalen Ramsey, QB Aaron Rodgers, and DT Gabriel Rubio. We give the summer outlook for each player and the chances a few of them have at sticking in Pittsburgh once the preseason ends. As part of the six players the three of us discuss during this show, we take deeper dives into Joey Porter Jr. and Patrick Queen in terms of 2026 expectations and the kind of seasons both players can have. This 100-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap above and we end this podcast by answering a few questions we received via email from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices. You Don't Need More Truth. You Need This. | Eric Thomas

APOC Ministry

You don't need another sermon. You don't need another scripture. You don't need another devotional. You already know enough truth to be in heaven right now. The problem isn't knowledge. It's that you're not doing what you already know. And that's why you're stuck. In this message, Pastor Eric Thomas delivers one of the most direct, most convicting words of the year: a message about the real reason your life hasn't changed. It's not more information. It's accountability. And until you stop looking for more truth and start living the truth you already have, nothing will shift. Using the story of Nathan and David, the analogy of the 8-foot rim, and raw testimony about tithing on his business, Pastor ET breaks down the three levels of accountability that will take your life to the next level: Self. Home. Community. In that order. Most people skip self and go straight to trying to fix everyone else. That's why it never works. You can't save a drowning person when you're drowning too. You can't hold someone accountable when you haven't dealt with the plank in your own eye. In this message you'll discover: → Why your next level isn't coming from more truth — it's coming from accountability → The three levels of accountability: Self, Home, Community (and why order matters) → Why most Christians know the Word but aren't doing the Word → How to be your own Joe Jackson and Joe Clark so no one else has to → The difference between butter knife relationships and iron sharpening iron → Why you can't dunk on an 8-foot rim and expect 10-foot results → What it really means to examine yourself and test yourself (2 Corinthians 13:5) → The hospital analogy: why the church isn't full of just sick people → Why God had to tell Pastor ET to tithe on his business, not just his personal income

March 6, 2026 - Season 16, Episode 132 of The Terrible Podcast is now in the can. In this Wednesday morning show, Alex Kozora and I get right into discussing the recent transactions made by the Pittsburgh Steelers. We speculate the seriousness of the recent injury sustained by DB Daequan Hardy that landed in on the Reserve/Injured list on Tuesday and how TE Joaquin Bell now fits back on the offseason roster since he was re-signed. With the recent speculation and rumblings related to QB Aaron Rodgers possibly landing with the Arizona Cardinals this offseason in lieu of him re-signing with the Steelers, Alex and I go over that topic. We address what a Cardinals beat writer had to say on Tuesday about that possibility and also quickly go over what new Arizona HC Mike LaFleur had to say about Rodgers during his recent interview with Jim Rome. In the middle of this Wednesday show, Alex and I conduct our annual post-draft roundtable session with several of the sites draft content contributors. This means that we are joined Wednesday morning by Ross McCorkle, Joe Clark, Josh Carney, Tom Mead, Jake Brockhoff, and Ryan Paglia as we look to get more extended thoughts from each on each of the 10 selections that the Steelers made during the 2026 NFL Draft. Later in this show, Alex gives his thoughts on rookie UDFA TE Chamon Metayer out of Arizona State now that he has completed his tape review of him. Alex and I also discuss my recent post on Steelers OLB Nick Herbig as it relates to his offseason market value and whether he should bet on himself in 2026. This 130-minute episode also discusses several other minor topics not noted in the recap above and we end this show by answering a few emails we have received from listeners. steelersdepot.com Learn more about your ad choices.
