Twenty years ago I got a gig as an air personality on radio station KSYM-90.1 FM in San Antonio, Texas. The first record that I ever placed on the turntables was from an up-and-coming singer by the name of Adina Howard and the track was called "Freak Like Me." Little did I know at the time was how much that track would impact my life in a major way. I became an instant fan of Adina's and through the years made it a mission to get just about everything with her name on it, including her 1997 unreleased project Welcome to Fantasy Island. It has always been a dream of mine to talk to Adina and to tell her how much I appreciated her music being a part of my life. On this special episode of The Soul Brother Show - The Home of Heavy Soul and Raw Funk, two decades after spinning her music I get that opportunity to express my thoughts and feelings to Adina. KeeQue also holds a monthly residency on local San Antonio radio station KSYM 90.1FM. This month his set included many new house tracks that were burning a hole in his crate to get onto this set. A couple of huge tracks by Sonny Fodera and Undercover Scoundrels make it onto this one, making it one of the best of the year so far! Lots of great feedback has come to efusionradio since this was aired originally on 10-26-12 and we just had to share it with the world! Don't sleep on this one!
