If you are a musician and have a stamp of approval from the likes of Stevie Wonder, Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart of the Eurythmics, and blues guitarist Joe Bonamassa—odds are good things are coming your way. Thus is the case of our latest guest on the Load Out Music Podcast: British-born blues rocker Joanne Shaw Taylor, who released her latest album, Heavy Soul, this past June. Taylor's new record, Heavy Soul, dropped June 7, through Joe Bonamassa's Journeyman Records. It was produced by Kevin Shirley who is known for his work with the Black Crowes, Journey, and Aerosmith. The album infuses Taylor's blues origins, blending contemporary soul-pop with traditional blues; and its title track delves into emotional struggles with powerful lyrics and stirring melodies.  Ultimately, Taylor's focused on trying to ensure her sound is fresh album-after album while still maintaining her unique signature style. “When I look back on my catalogue of work, hopefully when I'm 170-years-old,” she noted with a laugh. “I want every album to be different…I want them all to sound like the same artist. Does it sound like me? I'm not going to put out a rockabilly album. And also, how do I keep it fresh for myself?” Enjoy a terrific chat with the amazingly talented Joanne Shaw Taylor on the latest episode of The Load Out Music Podcast.

What gets you down? Studies have found that many people today report living with a constant low-grade depression; a sense, not that anything is wrong specifically, but that somethings not quite right. It might surprise how often the Bible addresses these feelings, as well see today as Pastor Jeremy continues in week 2 of our series, Soul Detox."

With a knack for spotting raw talent and an unwavering commitment to artistic authenticity, Andy is one of the most successful UK independent music entrepreneurs of the modern era.In this World Exclusive Podcast conversation, we discover how his early interactions with the music industry at Stiff Records exposed him to the inner workings of record labels and the art of artist development. We learn how his journey in the business was kick-started through a strong passion for discovering and nurturing talent and a conversation that lit the fuse...And for the first time, Andy shares his experiences with Paul Weller. From signing him to Go Discs in 1992 and the release of their first single together "Uh Huh Oh Yeh!".This was the song that open up my world to Weller and what a journey it was in the 90s!.That debut solo album (via a Japanese record label) to Wild Wood and then the huge success of Stanley Road. We'll hear how they continued to work together through Heavy Soul and Heliocentric, despite the Polygram takeover of the label, and then onto a new venture - Independiente with the album's Days of Speed and Illumination.Founded in 1983, Go Discs quickly established itself as a breeding ground for innovative and groundbreaking artists. Andy's vision was simple yet profound: to provide a platform for artists to express their creativity without compromising their artistic integrity. Chuck Lambert Interview Chuck's musical education started long before he picked up a guitar. At age eight, he studied oboe and piano.  Four years later his godfather exposed him to the musical diversity of Caribbean culture and encouraged him to play guitar.  While in high school he played bass and guitar in small R&B combos, rubbing elbows and jamming with future members of Parliament Funkadelic. While attending Lafayette College in the early 70's, he was a member of the Tim McCabe Blues Gang. The band's primary function was that of a backup band for touring blues legends on the East Coast college circuit. It was then that he was able to play for legends John Lee Hooker, J.B. Hutto and Screamin' Jay Hawkins. He also gained valuable exposure playing college parties and small clubs in the Delaware River Valley. Most recently, Chuck has been playing guitar and singing his blues for crowds up and down the Jersey Shore, Philadelphia New York City and metropolitan New York areas while always returning to play venues in his hometown of Red Bank, NJ. As a member of the Norman Seldin Big Band, The Panama Chapel Band, The Cal Vetrane Blues Band, The Haugenes Project and a guest artist with The Red Bank Blues Band, Heavy Soul, Herd of Blues, Al Holmes and The Tribe, Poppa John and The Jam Band he has lent his vocal talents and guitar to many a fantastic night.  Chuck has led the band as they opened for popular artists such as Little Feat and Kenny Wayne Shepard. The band has performed in prestigious musical venues like NJPAC, The Count Basie Theatre and SOPAC. They have performed at Le Festiblues International de Montreal; The Riverhead Blues Festival in Riverhead L.I.; The Blues, Brews and BBQ Festival at Six Flags Great Adventure, Freehold NJ; The Westfield Jazz & Blues Festival in Westfield NJ; The Red Bank Jazz & Blues Festival, Riverfest and The Jazz in the Park Series in Red Bank NJ; The Clearwater Festival at Gateway National Park at Sandy Hook NJ and Asbury Park NJ; The Blues by The Beach Concert Series in Long Branch NJ and represented The Jersey Shore Jazz and Blues Foundation in 2007 and 2013 at The International Blues Competition held in Memphis Tenn.   For more on Chuck Lambert-https://www.chucklambert.com/schedule

Pastor Les Woodard, Associate/Worship Pastor, continues a message series based on a book by Craig Groeschel called "Soul Detox."

Sun Valley Community Church

The environments we live in rub off on us without us even realizing it. Often, these environments are toxic to our souls, in the very core of who we are. Just like our bodies need to be cared for, so do our souls. This series through Psalms is about identifying the unhealth and detoxing our souls.
