Today I’m talking to Natalie Gross and Andrea Scott from the Spouse Angle podcast, which is just an amazing resource for military spouses, bringing you all the latest news. In fact, I was on the Spouse Angle Episode 26: When Your Kid Goes to War, where I talked about being a military spouse and then a military mom as our oldest went on active duty. We recorded this episode last fall, which you’ll realize as we mention the upcoming election and the Spouse Angle’s one year anniversary. Is being Married in Medical School really miserable? Sometimes, you would think so. We've all heard about the hours of studying, how spouses start to feel second place, and other complaints. But many marriages thrive during medical school. It's a time to get some independence, work on your own goals, and enjoy the time you have together in what is likely still the "young love" phase. Today's guests, Zack and Natalie Gross share how they met, and how life has been going, well pretty darn good. Lara also shares the ONE reason you should, in fact, marry a doctor-so be sure to listen for that as well. Buy your loneliness workbook now! Why? Because: 1. It's great! 2. It shows support of the show and helps pay for production costs! 3. You can email me and ask me questions about your thought models! 4. I'm giving everyone an audio version AND a bonus episode who buys by March 22nd. So do it, show some love. Every dollar helps and goes right back to the show. Thank you! Natalie and Zack Natalie and Zack are newlyweds who met in Los Angeles while Zack was in medical school. Natalie does oncology research and Zack is an internal medicine resident. Their pride and joy is their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is named Oliver. Prior to applying for residency, Zack was a clinical research associate for The Institute of Myeloma and Bone Cancer Research for one year after graduating from medical school.
