Two Guys, a Girl, and a Comic Book Podcast Pilot (Ep I) Episode I is finally here! This one clocks in at just over one hour, forty six minutes, and hopefully you'll stick around for the whole thing. This time we talk (mostly) Marvel movie news, but eventually we move on to discussing the newest Marvel event, NBC's Constantine, and a whole lot more. We'll be making an effort to keep future episodes a bit shorter, but it's hard to not talk about amazing comics! Note: This was our first recording, and the three of us hadn't had our technical setup as well planned as possible, so there are a few audio issues present. We did our best to minimize them in post, but be assured that we'll be working to give you the absolute greatest audio quality possible in the future. Thanks again for listening, and sorry for the inconvenience. Show Notes / Discussion Topics News Marvel Studios Movie Announcement! Tune in for another special edition of That's Entertainment as I interview actor Harold Perrineau. Perrineau has starred in countless roles in every catagory from stage, television and films. His break-out role was the paraplegic prisoner in the acclaimed HBO drama series, "Oz." He is also known to millions of viewers as "Michael Dawson" in the Golden Globe-winning and Emmy-nominated series, "Lost." And who can forget the lovable "Julian Murch" in Malcolm Lee's hit movies, "The Best Man" and "The Best Man Holiday" which also starred Terrence Howard, Taye Diggs and Morris Chestnut. Now he will be playing an angel in the new dark, supernatural drama, "Constantine" that premiers on Friday night on NBC. Join me as I talk with the multi-talented and versatile, Harold Perreneau, on Thursday, October 23 at 10:00am ET on www.blogtalkradio.com/tammyjones-gibbs Follow on twitter - thatsentertain1 Like on fb - www.facebook.com/thatsentertainment.radio
. CONSTANTINE - Series Premiere: 10/24 - Fridays at 10/9c on NBC Based on the wildly popular comic book series “Hellblazer” from DC Comics, seasoned demon hunter and master of the occult John Constantine (Matt Ryan, “Criminal Minds”) is armed with a ferocious knowledge of the dark arts and a wickedly naughty wit. He fights the good fight — or at least he did. With his soul already damned to hell, he’s decided to abandon his campaign against evil until a series of events thrusts him back into the fray, and he’ll do whatever it takes to protect the innocent. With the balance of good and evil on the line, Constantine will use his skills to travel the country, find the supernatural terrors that threaten our world and send them back where they belong. After that, who knows… maybe there’s hope for him and his soul after all. The cast also includes Angélica Celaya (“Dallas”) as Zed, Harold Perrineau (“Lost”) as Manny and Charles Halford (“True Detective”) as Chas.
