Like the previous three games in the series, including Mortal Kombat Mobile, Mortal Kombat 11 is a 2.5D fighting game. Alongside the returning Fatalities, Brutalities, Stage Fatalities, Friendships and Quitalities, new gameplay features are introduced, such as Fatal Blows and Krushing Blows. Fatal Blows are special moves similar to the X-ray moves in the 2011 reboot and Mortal Kombat X. Like X-ray moves, Fatal Blows deal a large amount of damage, but unlike them, they only become available when a player's health drops below 30%, and can only be performed once per match. Krushing Blows are a critical hit variation of a given special move or combination, triggered when certain requirements are met and cause deadly effect by showing graphic body injuries and draining at most times 30% health in a single hit.

We found out it was in the works but WB said "Naw we're good" lol. It would not be a bad idea but we would love to hear from you.

Few fighting games do single player modes like Mortal Kombat. I have never been the biggest MK fan, but after playing through the single player campaign alongside a friend in college, Mortal Kombat X sold me on the series story and lore. MK11 further dug me in with all the cinematics and engrossing story. It's campy and ridiculous, but its a good kind of campy and ridiculous. Go play Mortal Kombat. Oh, and news!
I welcome Ray McCaffrey, Executive Producer at Steel Wool Studios. Hear how he got started in the game industry through a friend by joining a band with some NetherRealm artists who later encouraged him to apply for a short-term Assistant Producer contract job. Learn about his transition from IT, working with industry legends, and wishing he'd known to be more quiet and listen better. We then discuss advancing your career in Production, the importance of documenting feedback and results, and providing context to the team to build trust. Hear about the value of being calm and centered for others and the value it brings to the team and a company. Learn about the critical skill of being comfortable being uncomfortable, accepting change in the search for fun, along with the role of acting as a confidant to team members. Hear about being honest with yourself about your flaws, putting constructive feedback into practice, plus sharing feedback without being a jerk. Listen about how insufferable it is working with jerks, ways we avoided it, and what a relief it is not to. We then dive into the uncanny valley of console hyper-realism, go deep into God of War Ragnarök, how accelerated technology is now, and some thoughts on ChatGPT, AI art, and the futility of trying to predict the future. Hear why he's bearish on AR, and bullish on VR for the entertainment value, plus the way it's changed how we interact with each other at times. Towards the end we talk about a game cancellation that taught him how to be a compassionate leader, the importance of an open dialogue with your team when in a position of authority, the genius of The Last of Us, other game licensed content, Halo 2 Double Team, pizza, and accepting that nothing is ever final. Bio: Ray McCaffrey is the Executive Producer at Steel Wool Studios, an independent studio based in Oakland, CA. Mortal Kombat X: Generations was a companion web series due to release shortly before the launch of Mortal Kombat X in 2015. Directed by Garrett Warren, its intended purpose was to introduce audiences to both new and returning kombatants, given the events of the game take place 20 years after its predecessor. Although it featured prominent names such as Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, Lewis Tan, Casper Van Dien, Ray Park and Pepi Sonuga, it was ultimately cancelled due to time constraints and never released to the public. To learn more about this incredible project, we are joined by cinematographer Nathan Haugaard who guides us through uncharted waters. In this exclusive interview, we share numerous high quality images and hear stories attached to each in Nathan's own words. — FOLLOW NATHAN HAUGAARD — Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/nathanhaugaard

Week 13 review, season X awards, toilet bowl predictions, and playoff preview
This month I ramble about the lack of horror news around this time of year. So I am all over the place with topics! X-Files, Mortal Kombat X, Mad Max, Ash Vs Evil Dead, Silent Hills, Twin Peaks, Constantine, The Babadook, hell...I even bring up the darker side of Star Wars: The Force Awakens! All this plus some grand ol' 20's & 30's Halloween tunes to get you through your non October work day. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/hallowseve365/support
It's the 2015 year in review! Metal Gear Solid 5, The Witcher 3, Mortal Kombat X, and more.
The Predator's arrival this week in Mortal Kombat X isn't exactly unprecedented, considering that the skull-collecting alien hunter has been the ultimate crossover star since the '90s. But he's not the first Hollywood character to make an appearance in an unrelated game, either, so we thought it'd be fun to look at five other instances when film icons suddenly showed up in games that had nothing to do with their movies. Then there's some brief talk about SKullgirls: 2nd Encore and Rocket League, a quick run through some pre-Comic-Con news, and a look at your favorite games of 2015 so far.
Dave and Chuck talk about how the gofundme craze is out of control, another crazy story of a person freaking out on Flocka, hot nudes leaked of a Dancing with the Stars Celeb, Mortal Kombat X will have their first gay character, a dude busted cause he wore Crocs while committing a crime, women draw their dream penis, how your parents almost killed you as a kid, and more!
Mortal Kombat X, Phantom Dust, Fear Effect, and more!
