Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Full Reaction Watch Along:   / thereelrejects   Visit https://huel.com/rejects to get 15% off your order With James Gunn's SUPERMAN a couple weeks away, Tara Erickson & Andrew Gordon are diving headfirst into the dark and operatic world of the DC Extended Universe with their Reaction, Commentary, Breakdown & Full Spoiler Review of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (Ultimate Edition) — the 2016 director's cut from visionary filmmaker Zack Snyder (Justice League, 300). This extended version expands the political intrigue, moral complexity, and character development as Gotham's vigilante, Batman, clashes with Metropolis' alien savior, Superman, in a philosophical and physically explosive confrontation that sets the stage for the formation of the Justice League. Famous and highly searched moments include the “Knightmare” sequence, teases of Darkseid, Batman's brutal warehouse fight, Superman's Capitol Hill testimony, and the unforgettable line: “Why did you say that name?” The Ultimate Edition also restores key plotlines surrounding Lois Lane (Amy Adams), the Africa incident, and the broader conspiracy against Superman, adding depth and cohesion to Snyder's ambitious world-building. Join Tara and Andrew as they explore the themes, performances, fan service, and lasting legacy of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (Ultimate Edition) — one of the most debated and dissected entries in modern superhero cinema. It is a privilege to welcome actress and filmmaker Christina Wren to The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast.  Audiences may recognize Christina from standout performance as Major Carrie Farris in blockbuster hits Man of Steel and Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice. She also starred as Vanessa (Half Sisters), Lusa (Lusa), Rudy Hadid-Robinson (Hicksters), and L.A. Macabre (J.P. Cutler). She provided the voice of Essi Daven in The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep and currently portrays Caroline on ABC's Will Trent.   Beyond her work on screen, Christina is an inspiring advocate for creativity and empowerment. As Vice President of Women of Color Filmmakers (WOCF), she co-founded and chairs the annual WOCF Film Lab, a six-month intensive training program offering workshops and mentorship from industry leaders like Larry Fong (300), America Young (Barbie), Carl Seaton (Snowfall), and Adam Stein (Kim Possible). The lab provides emerging women of color filmmakers with the tools and guidance to launch their careers by creating original films.  Christina also collaborates with her husband, Demetrius Wren, through their production company, Two Kids with a Camera. Together, they've created compelling branded content for commercial clients and developed original projects, including their first documentary, Streetball, filmed in South Africa. Christina's upcoming indie film, Swishy, is in development—a heartfelt coming-of-age story about a high school girls' basketball team inspired by her experiences growing up as a first-generation American.  In this edition of The Jake's Take with Jacob Elyachar Podcast, Christina Wren spoke about her memories of filming Man of Steel and Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, previewed her roles on Will Trent and The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep, and discussed how the WOCF Film Lab fostered diversity in the film industry.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/jake-s-take-with-jacob-elyachar--4112003/support.

CNN's Wolf Blitzer is best known as one of the most recognizable faces in broadcast journalism, but did you know he's also a Hollywood regular? Over the years, Blitzer has made cameo appearances in some of the biggest blockbuster films, always playing himself—a trusted news anchor bringing credibility to the big screen. And according to Blitzer, those roles still bring in royalty checks! In this segment, Blitzer's co-anchor, Pamela Brown, takes us on a walk down memory lane, revisiting some of his most iconic movie moments. From action-packed thrillers to political dramas, his presence has added a sense of realism to many films. Whether he's reporting on fictional breaking news or interviewing world leaders in a parallel cinematic universe, Blitzer has become Hollywood's go-to journalist when a movie needs some real-world gravitas. Some of his most memorable cameos include: Mission: Impossible – Fallout (2018)In this high-stakes spy thriller starring Tom Cruise, Blitzer delivers a shocking twist in one of the film's opening scenes. His role? A CNN anchor covering a major international crisis—until it's revealed that his news report is actually part of an elaborate ruse by the IMF team. Fans of the franchise were thrilled by this clever moment, proving that even Wolf Blitzer can play a role in Ethan Hunt's world of espionage! Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016)Blitzer appears as himself in Zack Snyder's superhero epic, providing news coverage of the growing tensions between Gotham's Dark Knight and the Man of Steel. His presence adds an air of authenticity to the film's political and media-driven themes. The Brink (2015) (TV Series)Though not a film, Blitzer's guest appearance in HBO's satirical political series starring Jack Black and Tim Robbins was another nod to his pop culture presence. The Campaign (2012)In this political comedy starring Will Ferrell and Zach Galifianakis, Blitzer plays a key role in delivering the latest on the outrageous congressional race, bringing his signature news delivery to the film's hilarious political antics.Blitzer's ability to seamlessly transition from real-world reporting to fictional storytelling makes him a unique fixture in Hollywood. And the best part? He's still getting paid for those cameos! While the royalty checks may not be massive, it's a fun reminder that his contributions to film have left a lasting impact.Which of Wolf Blitzer's movie appearances is your favorite? In today's Daily Fix:Jesse Eisenberg believes his career has suffered since starring in Zack Snyder's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. The film introduced Eisenberg as the Snyderverse's Lex Luthor, but was met with tepid reviews. The follow-up, Justice League, fared even worse, and Eisenberg wasn't even aware of the negative response. But despite his claims, Eisenberg's career has continued, and his writing/directing/starring effort, A Real Pain, is getting some real Oscar buzz. In other news, Assassin's Creed Shadows features what the devs are calling the series' fastest assassin yet. In fact, Naoe may have a specific running animation when on rooftops, which is prompting speculation that the "Naruto run" could be featured in the game. And in other Ubisoft news, a new game was stealth-dropped, this one featuring Rayman. But don't get your hopes up—it features NFTs.

Send us a Text Message.Ever wondered if those iconic crop circles from the '90s were mere hoaxes rather than messages from extraterrestrials? Join us in this episode of the Talkers Podcast as I, Joe, bring some heartfelt gratitude to our listeners, both new and loyal. We kick off with a walk down memory lane, reminiscing about the 4th of July festivities, the joy of neighborhood fireworks, and the critical importance of staying safe—not just from fireworks, but also by avoiding drinking and driving. Amidst all the heat talk, I share a humorous take on burning calories by wearing a sweater at work, blending personal anecdotes with essential safety reminders.Next, we explore the captivating world of crop circles. Are they really messages from beyond or simply the work of creative farmers with too much time on their hands? With modern technology like cell phones, social media, and drones at our disposal, the once sensational topic seems to be fading into the past. We reflect on how increased surveillance might have discouraged hoaxers, making it harder to stage such phenomena unnoticed. This segment invites you to re-examine old mysteries through the lens of today's technological advancements, challenging the once widely held belief in their otherworldly origins. Finally, we delve into the ever-evolving world of fandoms, with a particular focus on Zack Snyder's passionate supporters. From initial critics to ardent fans, the shift in opinion over his films like "Justice League" and "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is nothing short of fascinating. We also discuss the skepticism surrounding James Gunn's upcoming projects and the role of CGI in modern filmmaking. With early on-set photos often misleading fans, this episode is a reminder of the cyclical nature of fan reactions and the importance of embracing change in the cinema. Tune in for a candid, unscripted discussion that's sure to resonate with movie buffs and casual listeners alike.Support the Show.Support our podcast paypal.me/theetalkerspodcastE-Mail: theetalkers4us@gmail.com https://theetalkers.buzzsprout.com/shareFacebookthee•talkers•podacast (@theetalkers_podcast) | Instagramtheetalkers_podcast1 - Twitch(3) Theetalkers1 (@theetalkers1) / TwitterThee Talkers Podcast: Unscripted - YouTubepatreon.com/theetalkerspodtiktok.com/@theetalkerspodcast
