A passionate group of Viking re-enactors is bringing history to life across the Petersphere, showcasing traditional crafts, rune writing and immersive storytelling at local events. Bjarnarfolk also gathers twice a month at Petersfield Community Centre to hone their battle skills. While their battle dress may make them look like a fearsome band of warriors, Jo Gray recently received a particularly warm welcome. Stanley Edward and his fellow re-enactors share their passion for history, their enthusiasm for the hobby, and the wider benefits it offers to those who take part. The group is open to all.
