Today I have an amazing conversation with my sweet friend Candice who is a blogger, author, speaker, and Founder/President of Hope in Healing Hearts. She is married with four children. Candice is powered through her faith in Jesus Christ and her passion to share on the hope only He can provide after loss. Congenital Heart Defects occur in 1 of every 100 births making it the most common birth defect. Their first born son, Alexander, was born with Hypo-plastic Left Heart Syndrome. When he was six days old he underwent open heart surgery. He fought for 52 days. Candice believes in the importance of helping other moms through their journey and empowering them to find purpose in their pain. When not writing, Candice is teaching for Stanly Community College, homeschooling her three living children, and leading a women's eGroup for Elevation Church. Most days you can find her in the Charlotte area on the sideline of a soccer game, at the dance studio, or reading a book, but always with a coffee in hand.
