Podcast ini membahas pentingnya tidak melupakan kebaikan atau keutamaan yang pernah ada di antara sesama manusia, berlandaskan pada ayat Al-Qur'an Surat Al-Baqarah ayat 237. Kajian ini menyoroti bagaimana perintah Allah Ta'ala ini berlaku dalam ikatan suci pernikahan, bahkan saat terjadi perpisahan, untuk mengingat cinta kasih, sayang, dan interaksi yang baik di masa lalu. Lebih luas, konsep ini adalah kaidah perilaku Islam yang menekankan pemaafan dan mengingat kebaikan orang lain dalam setiap interaksi, termasuk dengan keluarga, sahabat, tetangga, dan rekan kerja, karena melupakan kebaikan dipandang sebagai akhlak tercela. Dalam Islam, menghindari sikap menggerutu atau mengeluh adalah ajaran yang ditekankan dalam Al-Qur'an dan Sunnah. Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala berfirman dalam Al-Qur'an Surat Al-Baqarah ayat 286: "Allah tidak membebani seseorang melainkan sesuai dengan kesanggupannya." Hal ini mendorong umat Islam untuk bersabar dan ridha dalam menghadapi segala cobaan. Rasulullah Muhammad Shallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam juga mencontohkan sikap sabar dan syukur dalam situasi apapun. Dalam sebuah hadits yang diriwayatkan oleh Imam Ahmad, Rasulullah bersabda, "Mengagumkan urusan orang mukmin, sesungguhnya semua urusannya baik, jika ia mendapat kesenangan ia bersyukur karena itu baik baginya, dan jika ia ditimpa kesusahan ia bersabar karena itu baik baginya." Oleh karena itu, umat Islam dianjurkan untuk tidak menggerutu dan selalu bersikap positif serta penuh keimanan terhadap takdir yang telah ditetapkan oleh Allah Subhanahu wa Ta'ala

Day 40 of Be Qur'anic discusses ayah 25 of Surat Al-Baqarah, which offers glad tidings of paradise to those with faith and righteous deeds, contrasting with the previous verse's warning of hellfire.  It emphasizes that true faith (Iman) must manifest as good actions (amal-salih), guided by Allah's definitions of right and wrong, not societal norms.  The Qur'an teaches that actions must be for Allah's sake to attain Jannah, as exemplified by Abu Bakr As-Siddiq's forgiveness motivated by divine instruction, reminding us that our ultimate goal is the reward of the hereafter.

Day 32 of Be Quranic marks a recap of the month's journey through the Quran, particularly focusing on Surat Al-Fatiha and the first 20 ayat of Surat Al-Baqarah.  This session highlights the structured flow of the Quran, akin to a constellation of stars guiding us in the night.  The key themes covered include understanding Allah's attributes, our relationship with Him, and the clear distinction between the traits of the pious, the disbelievers, and the hypocrites. The aim has been to reflect on ourselves, applying the Quran's teachings to our daily lives, ensuring we become more Quranic in our actions and thoughts.

Day 22 of Be Quranic delves into the fifth ayah of Surat Al-Baqarah, highlighting the traits of the people of Taqwa: belief in the unseen, prayer, charity, belief in the Quran and previous scriptures, and certainty in the Akhirah.  This ayah teaches that true success is defined by spiritual guidance and adherence to these traits, not material wealth.  It emphasises the concept of delayed gratification, akin to a farmer's patient toil for future harvest.  This principle, integral to Islamic teachings, prepares us for success both in this world and the hereafter, encouraging discipline and long-term vision in our daily lives.

Day 21 of Be Quranic focuses on the fourth ayah of Surat Al-Baqarah, highlighting additional traits of the people of Taqwa: belief in the Quran, in previous scriptures, and certainty in the Akhirah.  It underscores the importance of respecting all divine scriptures and adopting an Akhirah-centric worldview.  This outlook encourages collaboration and long-term thinking, focusing on eternal success in the Akhirah while also striving for worldly achievements, but with the ultimate goal of investing in the hereafter.  Today's lesson urges us to consider how our actions contribute to our eternal life beyond this worldly existence.

In today's reflection on Surat Al-Baqarah, we delve into the essence of Taqwa—believing in the unseen, establishing Salah, and giving charity. It's a reminder that our wealth is a trust from Allah, not truly ours. By finding our 'sweet spot' for Zakat (2.5% of our wealth), we not only fulfil a key Islamic obligation but also purify our hearts. This practice strengthens our connection with Allah, teaching us that true happiness lies in generosity and helping others, not in material possessions. Let's embrace this path of giving and spiritual growth.
