(Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson and Timothy Reed Two pastors killed in Manipur State, India Two pastors -- Pastor Kenpibou and the Rev. Manu Thiumai -- and at least two others were found dead in India's Manipur State last week, reports The Christian Post. The victims of ethnic and religious violence were found with their hands tied and their bodies mutilated in this northeastern state.  The Economic Times quotes a Manipur home minister who described the killings as “a heinous crime against humanity.”  74% of Israelis support sexual perversion today The Jerusalem Post reports that more than 100,000 persons participated in this year's so-called “gay pride” parade in Tel Aviv, Israel. A new study conducted by the Israel Institute for Gender and LGBT Studies found that 74% of Israel supports “full and legally enforced equal rights for the LGBT community.”  That's up from 61% just three years ago. Additionally, 89% of secular Israelis support equal rights for homosexuals and transgenders compared to 75% of traditional Israelis, 53% of religious Israelis, and 25% of ultra-Orthodox Israelis. Judges 3:12 says, “Once again, Israel did what was evil in the sight of the Lord.” Brazil's attendance at sexually perverted “pride” event cut by 50% In related news, one of the world's largest sexual perverted so-called “pride” events has been held in São Paulo, Brazil. However, a university drone count found that the peak attendance fell off from 73,600 in 2024, to 36,800 in 2026. Organizers say the total attendees topped one million, but that's down from three to five million in recent years. Isaiah 2:10-11 promises this: “Enter into the rock, and hide thee in the dust, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of His majesty. The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men shall be bowed down, and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day.” Trump scored elusive peace deal with Iran The United States and Iran have reached a deal aimed at ending the war that will reopen the Strait of Hormuz and lift the American naval blockade, reports NBC News. A signing ceremony is set for Friday in Switzerland. Global markets soared after the tentative deal was announced, while oil prices fell more than $4 a barrel on the news that shipping may soon be restored through the key trade route, according to Just The News. On Truth Social, Trump wrote, "Ships of the World, start your engines. Let the oil flow!” However, the memorandum of understanding leaves some key issues unresolved, setting up potential future tensions. The deal gives the two sides 60 days to resolve what to do about Iran's stockpile of highly enriched uranium and its nuclear program. Supreme Court sides with pro-abortion public school This just in.  The U.S. Supreme Court came down on the side of the pro-abortion lobby, to disallow a pro-life club from posting signs in a public school which would have denounced the abortion giant Planned Parenthood. Only Justices Samuel Alito and Clarence Thomas dissented. Justice Alito pointed out that the “Free Speech Clause of the First Amendment constrains censorship.” Many U.S. Christian denominations have lost members American denominations have lost church attendance since 2007. Pew Research breaks it down by denomination. Only the Reformed Churches and non-denominational groups have recovered or gained members since 2007. By percentage,  Holiness churches have lost the most members, followed by Methodists, Adventists, Restorationists, and Baptists. In raw numbers, Baptists have lost 11 million members, Methodists have lost seven million members, Lutherans have lost four million members, and Holiness groups have lost 1.6 million members since 2007. Meanwhile, the non-denominational churches gained 10.5 million members, and reformed churches gained about 150,000 over this 14-year period. Overall, the decline of faith in America has leveled off since 2019, largely due to an increased interest in church attendance on the part of Gen Z men between the ages of 14 and 29. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act was not reauthorized On June 11th, Congress did not reauthorize  the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, or FISA. The vote was 198-218. FISA 702 has been used to spy on American citizens, and it actively circumvents the Fourth Amendment which prohibits the government from spying on Americans without a warrant. Almost all Democrats voted against reauthorization of FISA 702, but it took 19 Republicans to officially defeat the spying measure. Establishment Republicans signaled their disappointment that the measure was defeated, but Republican Congressman Tim Burchett of Tennessee explained, “The Fourth Amendment is there for a reason.” Trump saved 146,000 migrant children trafficked under Biden The Trump administration has rescued 146,000 migrant children who were trafficked into the country during the Biden administration. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin explained the situation and the conditions under President Biden. Listen. MULLIN: “We're going to right the wrongs that the Biden administration turned a blind eye to. It's because of President Trump's leadership. It's horrific what's happening right in our own country because of four years of a blind eye that allowed unvetted sponsors to come pick up 450,000 kids on our borders, knowing their reports. While the Biden administration was in office, their own reports reporting that over a third of the females, regardless of age, were sexually assaulted before they made it to the border.” Cleveland Clinic to invest $2 million to help de-transitioners In another domestic victory, the Trump administration reached a massive deal with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation which agreed to stop transitioning minors. The clinic also agreed to commit $2 million to help de-transitioners, following in the footsteps of Texas Children's Hospital, which set up a $10 million fund for that purpose.  Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward stated, “The Department of Justice is steadfastly committed to protecting America's children. Just as the resolution with Texas Children's, today's resolution with Cleveland Clinic furthers that commitment and puts these providers on notice that this Department will vigorously enforce federal law where children are put at risk.” In Mark 9:42, Jesus said, “But whoever causes one of these little ones, who believe in Me, to stumble, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were thrown into the sea.” Artificial Intelligence can now clone your voice in a scam Please be aware!  Artificial Intelligence can now clone your voice with only three seconds of audio taken off of your voicemail greeting.  Artificial Intelligence scams increased twelve-fold in 2025.  Recent surveys have found one in four adults have encountered an Artificial Intelligence voice scam.  New York Knicks are world champions after a 53-year drought And finally, on June 13th, the New York Knicks became basketball world champions once again. ANNOUNCER: “It's over.  Knick fans: This is not a dream. Your long, long wait has ended. Go ahead and cry. After 53 years, the Knicks are finally NBA champions once again.” During Game 5 of the NBA Finals in the Alamo City, the New York Knicks defeated the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 94-90, capping off a stunning playoff run.  Knicks star Jalen Brunson scored 45 points in the victory, which earned him the nomination of Finals Most Valuable Player. But even more special for Jalen was the fact that his Dad, Rick Brunson, was his coach.  Amazingly, Rick, himself a former NBA player, made the finals for the New York Knicks back in 1999, also playing against the San Antonio Spurs in that series.  Rick and Jalen continue to maintain a close relationship, which Jalen elaborated on in a Good Morning America interview on ABC. BRUNSON: “Our relationship is unique. People may think just because he pushes me a certain way that we don't say things to each other, but I wouldn't trade anything for the world. We have the best relationship, even when it looks like we're fighting. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus “Peace Korea” is praying for Korean church to reunify North & South From June 5-25, 48 churches and Christian groups across South Korea are joining together to pray for the Gospel of Jesus Christ to reunify North Korea and South Korea, and for imprisoned missionaries in North Korea to be released, reports International Christian Concern. Peace Korea has held 21-day prayer meetings since 2007, following Daniel's example in Daniel 10 when he dedicated three weeks to pray for his people. The organizer told Christian Daily Korea, “I hope … that the Korean Peninsula will become one in the Gospel.” The theme of the 20th Peace Prayer Assembly is drawn from Isaiah 43:19. In that prophetic book, God declared, “Behold, I am doing a new thing.” Peace Korea published the “Peace Prayer Book” which includes messages from pastors, stories about Christian martyrs, and prayers that meditate on the new works God is doing. Tulsi Gabbard: “There are 120 US -funded bio labs in 30 countries” Outgoing Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard released declassified information on Friday revealing that U.S. taxpayers have funded 120  biological labs in 30 foreign countries, reports The New York Post. GABBARD: “After months of searching through intelligence community holdings and files, today I'm releasing new evidence of longstanding U.S. government funding of more than 120 bio labs in over 30 countries. “Now, these bio labs include labs in places like Ukraine, which could be at risk of compromise due to the ongoing Russia-Ukraine War. In fact, the intelligence community had previously warned that a US-funded bio lab in Ukraine likely housed dangerous pathogens and remained vulnerable to longstanding threats of Russian attack, seizure, or damage. “Now, until now, evidence regarding the full existence and funding of these laboratories had been knowingly withheld from you, the American people. Many of these U.S. government-funded bio labs are currently or have previously engaged in research using hazardous and highly contagious pathogens, and, in some cases, included dangerous gain-of-function research with very little visibility or oversight.” The Director of National Intelligence also explained what President Trump has done to mitigate the danger and how Biden administration officials, like Dr. Anthony Fauci, “lied” about their existence. GABBARD: “Now, President Trump clearly understands the serious threat dangerous gain-of-function research poses to the American people. And this is why he took decisive action over a year ago. On May 25. 2025, he signed an executive order to end federal funding of gain-of-function research around the world. “Now, despite the obvious potential for catastrophic global impact that research on dangerous pathogens and bio labs can have, politicians and so-called health professionals, like Dr. [Anthony] Fauci, as well as entities within the Biden administration's national security team, lied repeatedly to the American people about the existence of US-funded and supported bio labs. Very powerful people falsely claimed that these bio labs didn't exist.” Gabbard has sought transparency as part of an effort to eliminate possibly dangerous experiments with pathogens that have the potential to explode into pandemics. Tulsi Gabbard's last day is June 30th as she will be caring for her sick husband of 11 years, Abraham Williams, who has been stricken with a rare bone cancer affecting the base of his spine. United States now world's largest oil exporter The United States has officially become the world's largest oil exporter, an historic milestone that underscores America's growing energy dominance, reports Big League Politics. The U.S. exported 10.5 million barrels of crude oil and refined petroleum products per day in May, surpassing both Russia and Saudi Arabia for the third consecutive month. By contrast, Russia exported roughly 7 million barrels per day, while Saudi Arabia shipped about 6 million barrels daily. Spencer Pratt ready to drop bombshell in L.A. Mayoral race Former Republican Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt posted a video last Friday acknowledging his campaign is now over, but promised to release compromising recordings or perhaps video footage that will cause Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and/or Councilwoman Nithya Raman to “resign in shame,” reports The Western Journal. Bass, a Democrat, and Raman, a Democratic socialist, were the top two finishers in the Los Angeles mayoral primary. So, those two will advance to November's general election. Raman mysteriously overcame nearly a double-digit election night deficit to Pratt to be declared the second place winner earlier last week after mail-in ballots broke strongly in her favor, over both Bass and Pratt. As The Worldview previously reported last Friday, U.S. General Bill Essayli is looking into possible voter fraud, related to the disproportionate registrations of the homeless that far exceeds the actual homeless population. On June 12th, Pratt posted a fiery video on social media teasing his plans for "Phase III" of his effort to clean up the city, reports Fox News. PRATT: “I didn't get in this for political power. I got in this to expose this corrupt machine. And nothing has changed. Angelinos are now stuck with two morons responsible for all their problems. And they have to choose between dumb and dumber.” Pratt laid out the problems of Los Angeles. PRATT: “Now, every problem that plagues Los Angeles, because of these two corrupt communists, is going to accelerate, and the city will tumble headlong into the abyss. “You have no idea how many major developers, hoteliers, business owners, entrepreneurs have been texting me, saying they're packing up and leaving town. More of your favorite restaurants will be shuttering. That means less tax revenue. “That means the city has to cut services: more potholes, less firefighters, less police patrols, more criminals, more drug addicts terrorizing your communities. You have no idea how bad things are about to get for this city. “Look at this place already: weeds growing from every crack and crevice, graffiti over every square inch of public space, garbage, drugs, feces, burned-up dogs, burned-out towns, abandoned storefronts. This city is a mess, and you're about to reward the arsonist who torched the place with four more years of destruction.” And Spencer Pratt teased information he has that could force one or both  candidates to resign. PRATT: “We have some recordings of one of your exalted candidates doing and saying something that would make her resign in shame. I was saving it for the general election. Go ahead and pick your demon. Certify your choice, and then you get to see it. So, Karen, Nithya, ask yourself, ‘Is it possible that one of your employees may have a recording of you doing or saying something that would force you to resign in disgrace?'” King John of England signed Magna Carta in 1215 And finally, 811 years ago, on June 15, 1215, King John of England signed the Magna Carta, which began, “The Church of England shall be free.” It was first drafted by the Archbishop of Canterbury, Stephen Langton, to make peace between the unpopular king and a group of rebel barons who demanded that the King confirm the Charter of Liberties. The Magna Carta promised the protection of church rights, protection for the barons from illegal imprisonment, access to swift and impartial justice, and limitations on feudal payments to the Crown. We don't want us to think about healing and wholeness as something reserved for a few special people or a few dramatic moments. We have been built to encounter His love, experience His transforming power, and then learn how to extend the miraculous to those around us. This is our mission, as a church! As Christians, we are called to partner with the love and power of Jesus in a broken world. Part of that invitation is to give away what we have received. So this awakening is two-fold – healing for us, and healing through us. In the same way that doctors practice medicine and lawyers practice law, Christians are invited to practice healing. We like to say it this way – What God does in you, He wants to do through you!

This is part 1 of a 4-part Series called: 'The Truth.' In this message, Pastor Derek discusses the different approaches needed to share the Gospel with various audiences, focusing on the Hebrew and Greek worldviews. For the Jews who'd already received the foundational biblical truths of God, Creation, Adam, the Fall (sin), and the Messianic Hope, the apostles focused on proving that Jesus is the promised Messiah, because He fulfilled all the Messianic Prophecies (Acts 2,3 and13). For those who do not have this foundation of Truth, as is the case for many people today, because of secular humanism, we have to build this foundation first before they can understand the Gospel. This is what Paul did in Acts 14 and 17. Derek demonstrates this by expounding Acts 14:8-17 and 17:16-21. As we share the TRUTH of God and the GOSPEL of Christ, we are SHINING His LIGHT on them, and if they desire to know God, they will SEEK Him, and the eyes of their heart will gradually open more and more to the light, and they will FIND Him, because He is not far from each one of us (Acts 17:27).

Hundreds of Nigerians, who had been abducted by Boko Haram Muslim militants during a devastating March attack, have just been freed after months in captivity, reports International Christian Concern. It's one of the largest releases of hostages in the region in recent years.  Officials claim that the Nigerian army rescued 360 captives from a remote hideout in the Mandara Mountains of Borno State near the border with the country of Cameroon. However, local community leaders insist that local negotiations, rather than military action, secured their freedom. Pentagon on lock down over “air quality issue” On June 11th, the Pentagon was placed on lockdown after officials detected an “air quality issue” inside the building, reports NewsNation.com. Chief Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell said the War Department activated standard safety procedures, including a “shelter-in-place order for affected areas. The Pentagon has sophisticated systems to ensure the safety of the building and its occupants. Those systems have detected an air quality issue necessitating precautionary measures until we determine its significance.” Trump adds SAVE Act to Pentagon reconciliation bill Despite the fact that the U.S. Senate has failed to make progress towards passing the much-needed Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act or SAVE America Act, which would secure our nation's elections, President Donald Trump is not throwing in the towel. In a post on Truth Social, he just announced a huge move to get the act passed by adding it directly to the upcoming $350 billion Pentagon reconciliation bill. This way, the legislation can clear the Senate with a simple majority, rather than the 60 votes needed under current rules. Referencing the SAVE Act, he wrote, “THE SAVE AMERICA ACT … will protect our Elections for Generations to come.  Our Warriors protect our most Sacred Rights, and Voting is at the top. Time to defend that Right for every American!” Yesterday, President Trump made these comments from the Oval Office. TRUMP: “All voters must show photo I.D.  So, you go to vote and show photo ID. Not complicated. But who could oppose it? … “All voters must show a little thing called proof of citizenship. No mail-in ballots except for illness, disability, military, or travel. So, we're being very progressive. We just don't want cheating. You see what's happening in California. They're rigging the election.” Urge your two U.S. Senator to pass the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act or SAVE Act by calling 202-224-3121. That's 202-224-3121. Suspicious newly registered homeless votes in LA Mayoral race In a suspicious turn of events to block Spencer Pratt's candidacy for Los Angeles mayor, thousands of homeless voters were registered to vote at Los Angeles  shelters — despite many not living there or the facilities not having any beds at all, reports the New York Post. As Spencer Pratt was eliminated by Nithya Raman in the mayor's race during additional counting of votes on June 8th, one drop-in center, St. Joseph Center in Venice, which had received $600,000 from Nithya Raman, had 185 registered voters at the address but offers absolutely no accommodations.  After the New York Post inquired about this suspicious activity, the photograph of Raman presenting a check to St. Joseph's was taken down from its website. The revelations have prompted U.S. Attorney Bill Essayli to say he will investigate the concerns uncovered by The New York Post and “follow the evidence” to see if the law has been broken.  A review of records shows 7,600 voters tied to homeless shelters and service providers. The largest concentration of homeless voters was at the Midnight Mission in Skid Row, where voting records show 1,160 registrations — but its website shows it only has beds for 9% of that number -- 84 men and 36 women. Something stinks in Denmark! Proverbs 17:23 says, "A wicked man takes a covert bribe from his bosom to pervert the ways of justice." ACLU asserts a “religious right” to abortion in Indiana The Thomas More Society is weighing in on a pending ACLU-inspired abortion case before the Indiana Supreme Court, urging the state's highest jurists not to recognize a so-called “right” to abortion under the guise of religious freedom, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Indiana law bans most surgical abortions. Sadly, chemical abortions persist due to mail-order Abortion Kill Pills, which the state legislature has so far been unable to quash. The ACLU suit claims that denying Indiana mothers abortions would violate Indiana's Religious Freedom Restoration Act, a 2015 law that says that government may not “substantially burden a person's exercise of religion.” Indiana Republican Attorney General Todd Rokita has appealed, and the Indiana Supreme Court agreed in April to take the case. Oral arguments are set to begin in September. Thomas Olp with the Thomas Moore Society, said, “This case is a Trojan Horse. The ACLU and its clients want to call this religious liberty, but it isn't—not under any historically honest understanding of the term. From Cicero to John Locke to the framers of Indiana's Constitution, the natural law tradition that gave us religious freedom has never treated the taking of innocent life as an exercise of religion.” Missionary David Brainerd had a heart to see Indians saved And finally, on June 12, 1744, David Brainerd was ordained by the Presbyterian Church to be a missionary to the New England Indians. He first went to an Indian village on the Housatonic River in Connecticut. Then, he studied the Algonquin languages in Stockbridge, Massachusetts. According to the Generations-published Taking the Americas for Jesus, Brainerd loved the Indians which is why he wanted them to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ. He said, “I taught that men are sinners. All sinners will be judged by God. Then, I told them that Christ could save them. Christ was a great Savior.  All who believe in Jesus will be saved.” Even living in a wigwam and missing many meals, Brainerd was undeterred.  Indian witch doctors tried to poison him. He asked, “Why can't your magic harm me?” Sometimes Indians trusted in Christ. But many did not want to leave their idols. In 1745, Brainerd went to an Indian tribe in New Jersey where 100 Indians converted to Christianity. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Nigerian court sentences Muslims to death for executing Catholics Last week, a court in the African nation of Nigeria sentenced four Muslim men to death for killing dozens of Catholics. Four years ago, the gunmen attacked a Pentecost Sunday service at a Catholic Church in southwest Nigeria. They killed 41 people, including children. Authorities determined that the armed men belonged to Al-Shabaab, an Islamic terrorist group. The massacre was the first terrorist attack on a church in southern Nigeria.   According to Open Doors, Nigeria is the seventh most dangerous country worldwide for Christians. Proverbs 7:14 and 16 says, “Behold, the wicked man conceives evil . . . His mischief returns upon his own head, and on his own skull his violence descends.” Sudanese man arrested in Ireland for attempted beheading Authorities in Northern Ireland arrested a migrant from the African nation of Sudan on Tuesday. Police in Belfast accused him of carrying out a severe knife attack on a man in his 40s. People across the United Kingdom responded to the attempted beheading with protests. The victim was hospitalized with significant injuries to his face, neck, and back. Many U.K. citizens question their government's immigration policies, including Member of Parliament Rupert Lowe. In February, the lawmaker launched a national political party called Restore Britain. The party is devoted to ending mass immigration and also openly recognizes Britain's Christian heritage.  Congress funds $70 billion for ICE and Border Patrol In the United States, President Donald Trump signed the Secure America Act yesterday. The $70 billion package fully funds the Department of Homeland Security. The bill specifically covers U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and U.S. Customs and Border Protection for the rest of President Trump's second term.  Listen to comments from House Speaker Mike Johnson after Congress passed the bill. JOHNSON: “The historic mandate that put President Trump in the White House and Republican majorities in both the House and the Senate is evidence of the fact that Democrats' ‘Defund the Police' agenda is wildly out of step with hardworking American families. After four long years of Democrat policies that opened the door to dangerous criminals and deadly drugs, Republicans are delivering on our promise to restore safe streets and secure our borders.” Inflation rose 4.3% Inflation reached a three-year high last month for American consumers.  The cost of goods and services rose 4.2 percent in May compared to a year ago. Rising energy costs drove the inflation. Gasoline prices were up 40 percent from a year earlier.    iPhone launch connected to lower U.S. fertility rate A new study from the National Bureau of Economic Research suggests that the launch of the iPhone contributed to declining fertility rates in the U.S. Apple introduced the iPhone in 2007. The U.S. general fertility rate has fallen by 22 percent since then. People have been spending more time on their smartphones and less time with each other.  The study noted, “Overall, the diffusion of the iPhone explains 33–52% of the decline in the general fertility rate among women aged 15–44.” Southern Baptists: Only men can serve as pastors The Southern Baptist Convention affirmed its position yesterday that only men can serve as pastors. Over 70 percent of the denomination's representatives voted in favor of the “Truth and Unity Amendment.” The measure was sponsored by Albert Mohler Jr., the president of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. The amendment would require churches in the denomination to not appoint women as pastors, elders, or overseers.  Listen to comments from Dr. Mohler. MOHLER: “This motion makes very clear that we affirm the historic Baptist understanding of the pastor, elder, overseer. The structure of the language I have brought goes all the way back to the 1689 Baptist Confession, where the office and function of the pastor are clearly delineated. “This amendment makes very clear that a church, in friendly cooperation with the Southern Baptist Convention, doesn't have anyone other than a man as pastor in the office of pastor and specifies on the functions of the pastor that the key central function of preaching the Word of God to the gathered assembly is limited to men by Scripture.” 1 Timothy 3:1-2 says, “If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. Therefore, an overseer must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach.”  Animated movie “David” claims #1 spot on Netflix And finally, the animated film David reached the number one spot on Netflix for movies in the United States over the weekend.  The Bible movie from Angel Studios officially premiered on the streaming service just last Wednesday. (audio from David movie trailer) DAVID: “I'm just a shepherd, but deep down I know I can take on the world.” NARRATOR: “There is a darkness over the land.” SAMUEL:  “Our enemies will strike once more.” MAN: “Imagine the biggest warrior you have ever seen!” DAVID: “Okay.” MAN: “Now imagine somebody ate him.” GIRL: “Remember when I told you God had big plans for you?” GOLIATH: “You will serve us!” GIRL: “They may have been bigger than even I thought.” Christian music artist Phil Wickham voiced the adult David in the movie. Wickham told Crosswalk Headlines the film is “full of the story of God and full of Psalms and full of hallelujah and faith and hope.  … I think this movie will last decades. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Jonathan Clark Hindu mob injured 25 Christians during worship service A Hindu mob attacked a Christian worship service in central India last week. The mob injured at least 25 people, including the pastor's pregnant wife. Such attacks are becoming more common in the country's state of Chhattisgarh.  The state's government passed a law criminalizing conversion in March. It is India's second most oppressive state for Christians. Open Doors ranks the whole country as the 12th most oppressive in the world for Christians.    7.8-magnitude earthquake struck Philippines A 7.8-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of the southern part of the Philippines on Monday. The quake killed at least 37 people, injured nearly 500, and displaced over 32,000. Christians in the area are jumping into action. International Christian Concern reports, “Local churches have opened their doors and converted their sanctuaries into vital emergency evacuation centers, providing safe shelter, immediate access to drinking water, and essential family food packs to thousands of displaced and traumatized residents.”   In Matthew 5:7, Jesus said, “Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.” Spanish Anglican church joins Bible-believing Anglican denomination In Spain, the Evangelical Anglican Community of Valencia joined the Global Anglican Communion last week. It's the first church in the country to do so. The Global Anglican Communion is a movement of conservative Anglicans led by churches in the Global South. The group rejects the leadership of the Church of England which has shown support for sexually perverted lifestyles. Julian Milson is the pastor of the church in Valencia. He told Evangelical Focus, “We believe that the Church is called to submit to the authority of Scripture above any cultural pressure.” FDA launched safety study of Abortion Kill Pill In the United States, the Food and Drug Administration launched a safety study of the Abortion Kill Pill, reports The Wall Street Journal.  This comes a year after the Trump administration promised to review the dangers of the abortion drug Mifepristone. The drug is not only part of ending the lives of unborn babies, it also poses health risks to the mothers who take it.  Republican Senator Josh Hawley of Missouri introduced legislation in March to ban the Abortion Kill Pill. Listen to his comments. HAWLEY: “It is time for Congress to give the victims, the survivors -- many of whom are here today -- the right to recover against this company that has inflicted harm on them solely for the purpose of making profits. I'm introducing legislation today that will do just that. And I'm delighted to have with me here today great advocates for women's health and for life.” FBI fired analysts who targeted Catholics under President Biden         MS Now reports that the FBI fired several intelligence analysts who targeted Catholics under the Biden administration. The analysts were involved in a 2023 memo which revealed how the FBI was surveilling Catholics as potential domestic threats.  A recent report from the Justice Department stated, “The Biden Administration's policies regularly clashed with a Christian worldview and burdened traditional religious practices.” Amazon dethroned Walmart Amazon has dethroned Walmart as the largest corporation in the U.S. by revenue. That's according to the Fortune 500 rankings for 2026. Walmart came in second, ending its 13-year reign at the number one spot. Other top 10 companies include UnitedHealth Group, Apple, Alphabet, CVS Health, and Exxon Mobil.  Also, Texas dethroned California as the state with the most Fortune 500 companies this year.  Curaçao soccer player shared Christian testimony And finally, soccer teams from around the world are about to compete for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The international men's soccer championship is being hosted across the United States, Mexico, and Canada this year. One of teams hails from Curaçao, an island county in the Caribbean. Players from the national team participated in a Christian worship event ahead of the competition.  The team's striker, Kenji Gorré, shared his testimony at the event. Listen. GORRE: “I received Him as my Savior, because I knew that my good works couldn't do enough. I thought that if you're a good person, you'll make it to Heaven. I thought if you're a good person, God will forgive me. He's a loving God. But the love of God goes deeper. “And that's when I heard the true Gospel of Jesus dying for my sins on the cross, bleeding for me, washing me, cleaning me. And He cleaned me from the inside out. But I thank Jesus every single day. It's Tuesday, June 9th, A.D. 2026. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard on 140 radio stations and at www.TheWorldview.com.  I'm Adam McManus. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Kevin Swanson and Timothy Reed Vietnamese Communists have imprisoned 57 Christians Religious freedom is tenuous in Vietnam.  That's the subject of a new report by International Christian Concern.   At last count, Vietnam has 57 unreleased religious prisoners, five of whom were subjected to government-initiated torture. Pastors and evangelists are imprisoned for what is called “undermining national unity policy” or “abusing democratic freedoms”, whatever that is.   And Christmas is a dangerous time for Vietnamese Christians. That's when arrests accelerate in the Central Highlands, especially for believers who are caught worshiping in churches unsponsored by the communist government. State Dept. weighs in on the murder of a Brit by a Sikh Tensions between the United States and the United Kingdom have increased over the killing of a Brit named Henry Nowak. Last December, he was killed by a Sikh, a son of an Indian immigrant. The murderer had falsely accused Nowak of a hate crime.  Sadly, the police chose to believe the murderer instead of the victim in the crime.   In response, the U.S. State Department issued a statement pointing out “ideological conditioning and two-tiered policing” as “glaring symptoms of civilizational decline” in the United Kingdom.   Vice President J.D. Vance also stated on social media that “Henry Nowak died the same way a civilization dies: abandoned, handcuffed by authorities who neither trusted nor cared for him, and accused of hate crimes he did not commit.” Countries where the most Evangelicals live The most Evangelicals in the world live in -- you may have never guessed it -- China.    The Joshua Project puts China at the top with 106 million Evangelicals. The United States comes in second with 92 million Evangelicals. Then, comes Nigeria with 64 million, and Brazil with 53 million.   The other nations with the largest Evangelical populations include Ethiopia, Kenya, Mexico, and Uganda. Among the unreached nations of the world with the lowest Christian populations are these European countries: Austria, Finland, Greece, Greenland, Norway, and Sweden. Brazil's surge of Evangelicals and loss of Catholics Brazil has seen a surge of Evangelicals — now at 27%, up from 21.6% in 2010.  Brazil's atheist population grew from 8% to 9.3%. The nation's Roman Catholic population took the hit, losing about 8% since 2010. Catholics now represent only 56.7% of Brazilians. Catholicism made up 99% of the population back in 1890, according to the recently released Census of Traditional Peoples and Communities. New poll: America is viewed negatively America is viewed as increasingly unpopular worldwide while China is receiving higher marks for popular approval. Gallup's recent international poll found America at a 31% level vs. China's 36%.  That's the highest gap in history. America's net approval ratings have always dropped to the lowest levels in the history of the survey -- now at negative 15%. Trump's endorsed candidate for Iowa governor loses 8/10 of a point Iowa conservative Zach Lahn won the nomination for governor in a crowded Iowa GOP primary last week.  Lahn won his primary with just 38% of the vote — a close victory over Trump-endorsed Congressman Randy Feenstra, who earned 37.2% of the vote. Listen to the opening of Lahn's victory speech. LAHN: “I don't have to tell you this, but nobody thought this could be done. We were outspent, opposed by the establishment, told to wait our turn. Well, tonight the people of Iowa had something to say about that. We're not going to wait anymore!” (cheers) Lahn is a sixth generation Iowan who has spoken out against chemical manufacturers and Chinese land ownership here in the United States. Texas Rangers doesn't endorse homosexual pride month The LGBTQ and so-called “Pride Month” fervor has slowed greatly under the Trump administration, but not completely. Sports teams across the nation continue to celebrate Homosexual Pride Month. The Los Angeles Dodgers organization has been known to openly support homosexuality, transgenderism, and drag.  Influencer Jon Root praises Treinen's actions. He wrote, “While other professed Christians, Dodgers [shortstop] Mookie Betts and manager Dave Roberts wore [homosexual transgender] “pride” hats, only Blake Treinen, [the pitcher], refused. Don't bow down to the idols of our age, Christians. Stand firm like Treinen.” Ephesians 6:13 says, “Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.”  Send a two-sentence thank you note to Blake Treinen for standing against the homosexual agenda. Trump's $1.7 billion “anti-weaponization” fund shot down President Donald Trump's controversial $1.776 billion “anti-weaponization” fund has been shot down by the courts and those within his own party. Several Republican senators objected to the newly created fund, which would have had taxpayers foot the bill and paid out victims of political persecution while also shielding the Trump family from federal tax review.  June 9th anniversary of Scottish missionary Columba And finally, on this date, June 9th, A.D. 597, the great Irish Christian missionary, Columba, went to be with the Lord. Columba, also known as Columcille, planted churches all over Scotland and established the famed missionary school on the isle of Iona in A.D. 563, a training ground for missionaries over the next several centuries.  Born around the year A.D. 521, Columba was in line to become a High King of Ireland, but chose to serve the Lord in foreign lands instead. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Russian pastor labeled “terrorist” for speaking against Ukraine war On May 28th, Russian authorities labeled 74-year-old Baptist pastor Yuri Sipko to be a terrorist, reports International Christian Concern. As the former head of the Union of Evangelical Baptist Christians in Russia, he has spoken out against the war in Ukraine on social media. As a result, Russia launched a criminal case against him in August 2023, claiming he was spreading false information about military actions. At the time, Sipko said,  “They are looking for me to put me in prison because I've spoken the truth that Russia waged war on Ukraine,  People are dying, and everything is being destroyed. It's criminal, and they should not be doing this.” During the investigation, Sipko's home was raided, but he managed to escape. In Matthew 5:10, Jesus said, “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.” Iran's missiles failed to hit Saudi Arabia or Bahrain On June 2nd, U.S. forces successfully defeated multiple Iranian ballistic missiles and drones, and conducted self-defense strikes on Qeshm Island in the Strait of Hormuz in response to attempted attacks by Iran across the Middle East, reported the United States Central Command on X. Iran launched several ballistic missiles toward regional neighbors. However, all failed to hit their intended targets. Two Iranian missiles fired at Kuwait fell short or broke apart enroute, and three missiles launched at Bahrain were immediately intercepted by U.S. and Bahrain air defense forces. House resolution constrains Trump from military action against Iran In a vote of 215-208 on June 3rd, the U.S. House of Representatives passed a measure seeking to stop President Trump from taking further military action in Iran amid growing opposition to the war, reports the Associated Press. President Trump called the 215 representatives who passed the resolution "unpatriotic.” In a post on Truth Social, the president wrote: "In a meaningless vote, the House voted, 4 bad Republicans and all of the Dumocrats, to limit my War Powers, right in the middle of my final negotiations to end the War with the Islamic Republic of Iran. Who would do such an unpatriotic thing?" It is unclear how much legal force the House's measure will have. The White House described the move as an unconstitutional attempt to restrict presidential power. Four GOP Senators opposed Safeguard Voter Eligibility Act On June 4th, the U.S. Senate failed to pass the Safeguard Voter Eligibility Act which would require people to show documented proof of citizenship, reports Fox News. Republican Senators Susan Collins of Maine, Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, Thom Tillis of North Carolina and Mitch McConnell of Kentucky voted against the motion, signaling that the SAVE America Act does not have the votes to pass. Appearing on Fox News, Republican Senator Mike Lee of Utah said this. LEE: “Americans overwhelmingly support the need for voter I.D. They overwhelmingly support the need to verify citizenship from those registered to vote in this country. That's why the overwhelming majority, a super majority, of Republican voters, of Democrat voters nationwide want the S.A.V.E America Act passed. And even want it passed before the midterm elections. “That cuts across the board in people of both political parties. The only place where this is even remotely controversial is in the halls of Congress with Democrats. We've got to get this done to make our elections safe and secure again.” Indeed, according to Pew Research Center, 83% of Americans favor requiring all voters to show government-issued photo ID to vote, including 95% of Republicans and 71% of Democrats. Trump beautifies Washington, D.C. Ahead of America's 250th birthday, President Donald Trump made a promise. TRUMP: “We're going to get all the graffiti off the marble. We're going to fix the roads and the medians, which are falling down all over the street. Washington, D.C. will become a symbol of beauty, security, freedom, and strength.” Specifically speaking, for nearly two decades, the Columbus Fountain in front of Washington's Union Station was nonfunctional. Now, water is flowing again after 19 years. Plus, all of the obscene graffiti that President Joe Biden had tolerated was power washed away. The work was completed thanks to President Donald Trump's executive order on "Making the District of Columbia Safe and Beautiful." Appearing on CNN's State of the Union, Interior Secretary Doug Bergum said this. BERGUM: “The real scandal is not that we're fixing up monuments or making this capital beautiful again. The scandal should be, how in the world did we let our capital fall into such a disrepair? How did we fall into such a spot where celebrating American patriotism became partisan?” At a cabinet meeting, President Trump weighed in. TRUMP: “D.C. is looking beautiful, and the fountains are almost all open.” Most notably, the reflecting pool between the Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial was in terrible disrepair.  After draining the pool and removing 12 truckloads of trash, they repaired the leaks in the pool's concrete slab and joints by applying a waterproof coating, and painted it “American flag” blue to improve the reflection.  After starting the filling process on June 4th, it was completely filled yesterday, June 7th. YouTuber announced abortion of Down syndrome baby And finally, YouTube influencer Jesse Ridgway, who has 4 million followers, is facing a massive backlash after he announced on X that he and his wife decided to abort their baby after the child was diagnosed with Down syndrome, reports LifeSiteNews.com. Horrifically, Ridgway stated that he and his wife researched Down syndrome and decided that it would be best for both the child and for his family if the baby was killed in the womb—and noted that over 90 percent of children diagnosed with Down syndrome are aborted. He said, “50% of babies with Down syndrome have heart defects. 75% will have hearing challenges. Over 50% will have vision problems. … Sadly, the list is long. … As for us, we made a difficult decision that we believe, in the long-run, will be beneficial for our family. Thankfully, we had a choice.” Incidentally, despite frequent health difficulties, nearly 99 percent of people with Down syndrome report being happy with their lives; 96 percent like how they look; and 97 percent like who they are.  Dr. Calum Miller, a United Kingdom doctor and ethicist, said, “I'm sorry you murdered your child because he/she didn't pass quality control.” He pointed out that Ridgway had previously celebrated the fact that his dog had managed to survive a complicated surgery and was now living without kidneys. Columnist Mollie Hemingway wrote, “Killing your baby because he wasn't perfect in your eyes is so sad and dark and, yes, evil. Even if we didn't know how wonderful people with Down syndrome are. I pray you find Jesus. Life is beautiful.” And podcaster Brittany Hughes bluntly put it: “There is no way of framing this that will gain my sympathy. No poetic waxing, no begging for understanding, no tearful excuses. (Adam@TheWorldview.com) By Adam McManus Vietnamese Communists arrested two pastors Two Montagnard Vietnamese Christian men — Pastor Siu Yúi, age 68, and church member Siu Dok, age 40 — were recently arrested in Gia Lai Central Province in Vietnam's Central Highlands region. Both men were charged with “religious teachings” to mobilize ethnic minority communities toward separatism and independence, according to Christian Solidarity Worldwide. These arrests of Vietnamese Christians are the latest in a long campaign that the Communist Vietnamese government has waged against Montagnard Christian ethnic minorities in the Central Highlands who refuse to join state-controlled and sanctioned churches. In John 16:33, Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” In L.A. Mayoral race, Karen Bass and Spencer Pratt advance to run-off In the June 2nd election for Los Angeles mayor, Democrat incumbent Karen Bass had a dismal showing with only 34% of the vote. She was followed by insurgent reality TV star Spencer Pratt, a Republican, at 30% and socialist Nithya Raman at 22%.  However, they are still counting ballots. Bass and Pratt now advance to a runoff this November. Tom Bevan, the founder of Real Clear Politics, offered this analysis. BEVAN: “The good news for Spencer Pratt is that over 60% of Los Angelinos voted for anybody but Karen Bass. That's the good news. “The bad news is for Spencer Pratt that he's at 30%. 22 [percent] voted for a socialist in Nithya Raman.  How many of those voters are going to migrate over and vote for Karen Bass in the general election? And how much of an uphill climb is it for him to become the next mayor? “I think it's still a long shot, but he's going to get to stand on stage with Karen Bass again, in at least one debate, unless she decides not to.” Spencer Pratt scored points about Palisades Fire and drug addiction issue Spencer Pratt, whose home burned down in the Palisades Fire which he blames on Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass for having drained nearby reservoirs, talked about her failure in their pre-election May 6th debate. (Watch 11 minutes of highlight video) PRATT: “So, without those two reservoirs filled with 117 million gallons and 5 million gallons, these firefighters had to fly all the way to Malibu and Encino to get water. So, that to me is the most dangerous thing that the mayor put us up against. … As mayor, I will never drain the reservoirs that we need for wildfire protection.” In that same debate, Pratt explained that the “homeless” in the streets is primarily a drug addiction problem. PRATT: “The reality is, no matter how many beds you give these people, they are on super meth, they are on fentanyl. The DEA statistic says 93% of this is a drug addiction problem. “Councilwoman Raman's plan for treatment first. I will go below the Harbor Freeway tomorrow with her, and we can find some of these people she's going to offer treatment for. She's going to get stabbed in the neck. These people do not want a bed. They want fentanyl or super meth.” Fate, Texas stands tall for nuclear family And finally, not every elected official is jumping on the sexual perversion bandwagon, declaring the month of June to be Homosexual Pride month. Fate, Texas Mayor Andrew Greenberg declared June to be Nuclear Family Month. Listen. In the weeks leading up to the tragic event, students were protesting for democracy in Beijing. The Communist Chinese government responded by forcibly putting down the protests. Hundreds, if not thousands, died in the massacre. China's military also arrested leaders in the underground church which had fueled the protests.  Communist Chinese denying Bible to imprisoned pastors Speaking of China, the country continues its persecution of the church. International Christian Concern reports Communist officials are denying access to Bibles for imprisoned pastors. Authorities arrested three leaders of Maizhong Reformed Church last year. Their family members requested to send them Bibles during their imprisonment. But officials refused the request and subjected the families to more intimidation.  Please pray for our persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ of the underground church in China.  According to Open Doors, China is the 17th most oppressive country worldwide for Christians. Please send a 2-3 sentence letter urging officials to give the Bible to imprisoned pastors. Send it to Chinese Ambassador Xie Feng, Chinese Embassy, 3505 International Place NW, Washington DC 20008. Africa's fertility rate above replacement level Pew Research reports that Africa boasts a young and growing population compared to the rest of the world. The continent is home to 19 percent of people around the globe. And it contains 28 percent of all people under the age of 25. In the next 75 years, nearly half of the world's young people are projected to live in Africa. Also, it is the only world region where the fertility rate is above the replacement level.  Scotland officials drop case against pro-life grandmother The government of Scotland recently dropped its case against a pro-life, Christian grandmother. Last September, authorities arrested 75-year-old Rose Docherty. She was simply holding a sign near an abortion mill in Glasgow. The sign read: “Coercion is a crime. Here to talk, only if you want.”   A court cleared her of criminal charges in April. And Scotland's prosecution office dropped the case last month.   Listen to comments from Mrs. Docherty after her victory. DOCHERTY: “I was arrested, charged, and prosecuted for nothing more than peacefully inviting consensual conversation in a public space that I was permitted to be in. When I was arrested, I was handcuffed, placed in the back of a police van, and placed in a police cell for over two hours without a chair to sit on. Simply for being available for the lonely, the afraid, and the coerced, I have been treated like a violent criminal. “But thankfully, today the charges have been dismissed. The judge ruled that the charges were irrelevant and that they were a breach of my Article 10 free speech rights. Thank you all for your support and prayers. Thank you to ADF International and my entire legal team, who were brilliant. “Nobody should be criminalized for consensual conversations, and I am glad that that truth has been vindicated here today.” In Matthew 5:10, Jesus said, “Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of Heaven.” Trump proposed new tariffs on 60 countries In the United States, the Trump administration proposed new tariffs of up to 12.5 percent on 60 economies. The U.S. Trade Representative's ‌office released the proposal on Tuesday. It accuses these economies of failing to curb the importation of goods produced with forced labor. These economies include China, India, the European Union, the United Kingdom, and Canada.   Episcopal Church installed lesbian bishop in North Carolina An Episcopal Diocese in North Carolina installed Sarah Fisher, a self-avowed lesbian, as its bishop last month. She is living in unnatural relations with another woman, Mandy Brady, who is an Episcopal priestess. It is reportedly the denomination's first appointment of its kind in the American south.  Back in 1977, the Episcopal Church received its first homosexual into the clergy. Since then, membership has declined by nearly 50 percent as it has rejected clear Biblical teaching. Gallup poll: Americans less likely to support sexual perversion now A new survey from Gallup found that Americans are becoming less likely to support sexually perverted lifestyles. Support for such sinful lifestyles grew rapidly for two decades, peaking five years ago. Now, 65 percent of U.S. adults favor legal homosexual unions. That's down from a high of 71 percent in 2022. Similarly, 62 percent support homosexual relations now, down from 71 percent over the same time period. Wycliffe Bible Translators celebrated 800th Bible translation And finally, Wycliffe Bible Translators celebrated its 800th Bible translation this week. About 6.2 billion people now have the complete Bible in their own language.  It took over 1,900 years to translate the Bible into 400 languages. The next 400 translations were completed in just the last 28 years.   Isaiah 11:9-10 says, “The Earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.
