#Lanterns #GreenLantern #DCcomics #DCU #WB While on the surface, 'Lights Out' presents itself like a season finale, its really an end to a storyline that gave us a better understanding on what drives Hal Jordan and John Stewart. And at the epicenter of this is two entities: Zoe the Manhunter and Lianna the Guardian. Hal and John's conflict came about due in part to the shady nature of how the Guardians operated. Its through this that this episode gives us a big character moment for John.

Even though we have three episodes left, this could have easily sufficed as the last one for the season. In the midst of so much chaos in Rushville, this episode reaffirmed a lot of our premonitions and notions about the plot of this show. Zoe pulls the trigger on her condition to the inhabitants of Rushville, Hal does Jon dirty (again), the aliens go kaboom, and the aftermath of episode five will have long lasting effects. How do you think this series is going to move forward from here?

Hello Lantern Corps! Hal feels out of his depth and visits his mentor Sinestro for info on Manhunters.  What he gets is a warning to watch and sabotage John Stewart. Lianna tells John the Guardians are done with Hal. John needs to say the oath while wearing the ring to become the Green Lantern. Both men seem set against each other. But they still have a mission in Rushville. John finds Will's building at the center of his operation.  The Weenie, a Disney term for the center of everything that gets built around, is where they think the Manhunter is at.  After consulting Sheriff Kane, they make a nighttime move on the building. John gets the ring, pauses thinking about taking the oath, and then makes a tunneling machine.  The two men get to The Weenie and find no Manhunter, but a lot of advanced tech. Hal sets off an alarm and Will's guards take them out with darkness guns. They are taken to Will. He asserts his power over them. He forces John to draw him nude while Zoe and Hal watch. He tells them that he was dying and the doctors had given up on him, but not Zoe who was nursing him.  The Manhunter healed him. He makes Rushville crops grow, the kids healthy, and everyone for that matter. All that is asked in return is protection. Will tells them to leave town. Zoe comes to John at the hotel. After sleeping with him, she asks him to leave and he refuses. She says she does not owe Will. She healed him.  Revealing that she is the Manhunter. She leaves and is taken out by a satellite. Hal gets the satellite. John, Hal, and Sheriff Kane trace it back the Hector Hammond. At Hector's high tech/Manhunter tech slaughterhouse, they find Hector. He threatens John's family. Hal proves he is not the Manhunter. Hector says it is Will. On the way back, Hal and John hash things out. But in the end Hal listens to Sinestro's advice and sidelines John. Dekat dengan Tuhan membuat Lianti lebih tegar dalam menghadapi keadaan pasang-surut dalam hidupnya. Dalam hidup yang begitu taat, Abraham pun mengalami masa-masa pasang-surut itu. Setelah beberapa waktu sejak Tuhan mengikat perjanjian dengannya, Abraham mengalami banyak persoalan yang membuatnya mengalami pasang-surut. Kadang-kadang Abraham begitu percaya kepada perlindungan dan janji-janji Tuhan, tetapi di lain waktu ia seakan meragukan perlindungan dan janji-janji Tuhan. Tetapi semua itu justru membuat Abraham belajar mengandalkan Tuhan. Ada tiga rentetan peristiwa yang menggambarkan bahwa Abraham pernah meragukan perlindungan dan janji-janji Tuhan dalam hidupnya, yaitu:Pertama, ketika kelaparan menimpa tanah Negeb, Abraham dan Sara pergi ke Mesir. Firaun terpikat oleh kecantikan Sara dan ingin menyunting Sara sebagai isteri. Hal itu terjadi karena Abraham mengakuinya sebagai saudara, bukan isterinya. Abraham takut dibunuh.Kedua, ketika Sara tidak juga hamil, ia menyarankan agar Abraham menghampiri Hagar untuk memperoleh keturunan. Tanpa menghiraukan janji Tuhan, ia mengikuti saran Sara itu.Ketiga, sekitar 24 tahun setelah peristiwa kelaparan di Negeb, Abraham kembali mengakui Sara sebagai saudaranya kepada Abimelekh. Hal itu juga diperbuatnya karena ia takut kalau-kalau Abimelekh akan membunuhnya karena mengetahui bahwa ia adalah suami Sara. Menjadi pengikut Kristus tidak berarti bahwa kita tidak akan mengalami masa-masa pasang-surut dalam kehidupan ini. Keadaan pasang-surut mengajar kita untuk hidup bergantung kepada Tuhan. Ketika kita mengalami pasang-surut, kita harus tetap maju, tetap taat kepada Tuhan dan tetap yakin bahwa Tuhan turut bekerja untuk mendatangkan kebaikan bagi kita lewat keadaan itu. Welcome back to our Lanterns side quest! Episode 4 begins where Episode 2 left off, with Hal visiting his former mentor Sinestro. Jason and Rosie recap episode four of Lanterns, where Sinestro coaches Hal on manipulating John Stewart while John and Hal team up to scout "the weenie" — the mysterious anchor point on the Macon ranch.
