5 Years Time

This week Darcy and Harry are joined by the wonderful Georgia Cecile. Scottish born Jazz-singer Georgia shares in the episode the details of the amazing year she just had, including, releasing her debut album, performing at The legendary Ronnie Scott's, performing as the opening act for Gregory Porter at The Royal Albert Hall and winning Best Album at the Scottish Jazz Awards. Within the episode Georgia also talks openly about the numerous hurdles she has faced in the music industry and her advice to have ‘bulletproof self-belief.'

Joining Darcy and Harry on this week's episode is Mark Taylor. The duo chatted to first-time author Mark Taylor, who has recently published the first instalment of his children's book collection, ‘Howard of Pawsland'. Within the episode Mark bravely opens up about the struggles he faced which led to an all time low and subsequent breakdown. He also describes how the unconditional love of his dog Howard ‘saved his life' and why he had to write a book about his furry friend.

On this weeks episode Darcy and Harry are delighted to welcome Georgina Castle. West-end superstar Georgina, who is currently starring in Andrew Lloyd Webber's brand new musical, Cinderella, chats candidly in the episode about the highs and lows she has faced so far in her career. She talks passionately about her love of the arts and explains the best piece of advice she was ever given to ‘keep her powder dry'… On top of all this, her kind and bubbly personality shines through as she shares her experiences and advice to ‘making it' in one of the toughest industries.

Welcome back! Darcy and Harry are thrilled to start Season 3 with Leon Campbell!Everybody loves Channel 4's popular Friday night hit Gogglebox and executive producer Leon is no stranger to working in TV having previously worked on shows such as Big Brother and The X-Factor. Within this episode, Leon describes his journey throughout his career, shares his three top skills that make a good producer and reveals how he deals with the struggles that come with a creative job. As well as all this, Leon also talks about his other projects including The Presenter Studio and presenting on Riverside Radio and what it was like to be a producer for the Olympics opening ceremony!

To finish Season 2, Darcy and Harry welcome band Out At Sea for the final episode. Forming in late 2019, friends Matt, Mark, Ben and Nick, who all trained in musical theatre, came together to create Out At Sea. The checky chappies, who at the beginning of their music career have already written a number of catchy tunes, throughout the episode never fail to highlight their enthusiasm, optimism and sheer enjoyment for the exciting journey they have embarked on. Joining Darcy and Harry on this weeks episode is Inci Mehmet. Inci decided at the age of 8 she wanted to be a professional golfer. Whilst chasing this dream for the last 15 years, Inci has hit impressive heights at such a young age, had some struggles along the way and more recently decided to follow a new path into the world of media. Within the episode Inci discusses the difficult yet exciting decision she made to transition from professional golfer to Sky Sports presenter, talks spending time with Tiger Woods, highlights her driven attitude and shares an interesting song choice.

On this weeks episode Darcy and Harry are delighted to welcome Zanna Van Dijk. Zanna, who featured on this years Forbes 30 Under 30 list, started her professional career as a personal trainer whilst documenting and sharing many aspects of her life on (at the time) the new and intriguing world of social media. As Zanna's following began to grow her career transitioned into a social media content creator working for amazing worldwide brands such as Adidas as well as opening new doors for her leading Zanna to write her book ‘Stronger' and create her company Stay Wild Swim. Zanna chats all this and more within the episode. 

Darcy and Harry are back, joined on this weeks episode by Rachel Gold. Fashion stylist Rachel who began her career as a singer in one of Holland's biggest girl groups, Luv, transitioned her way into the fashion industry early on. Since then she has been working as a fashion stylist to the stars including Jo Wiley, James Martin and Lewis Hamilton. Rachel offers great insight into life as a fashion stylist within the episode as well as sharing positive and motivational advice. 

This week Darcy and Harry are joined by the wonderful Alice Theobald. Alice has built a hugely successful career as a hair and beauty artist to the stars, working with names such as Lindsey Lohan and Princess Beatrice and having her work featured in numerous titles including Vogue China. Throughout the episode Alice's infectious energy and love for her craft shines through as she discusses not only the highlights of her career but also the challenges she has faced including the doubts some had about her career choice and how she strived and achieved it anyway.

Darcy and Harry are pleased to welcome Frank McWeeny on this weeks episode. As an Audio Producer & Studio Director for the BBC, DJ, radio presenter on Whynow Radio and lecturer at Point Blank Music School, Frank keeps himself busy! In the episode Frank shares a candid insight into the hurdles he's faced to find his way in an industry he had dreamed to be a part of for most of his life as well as describing some of the amazing moments that have made it all worth it.

Joining Darcy and Harry on this weeks episode is Claire Calvert. First Soloist of The Royal Ballet, Claire began her journey to becoming a prima ballerina at the age of 11. Throughout the episode Claire's distinct drive and passion are evident as she describes the highs and lows of dedicating her life to an elitist career, how she overcame hardships as well as sharing some of her amazing experiences including training with Darcey Bussell. The episode won't struggle to put a smile on your face with the combination of Claire's inspirational motivation and warm, contagious energy.

Welcome back! Darcy and Harry are thrilled to start Season 2 with Andy Proudman. The duo chatted to golf YouTuber, business owner and fellow podcaster about building his dream career and how his mindset helped him along the way. Throughout the episode Andy doesn't hold back in sharing how his positive approach to each day has helped him accomplish goals he once deemed out of his reach. The golf enthusiast shares his experiences of interviewing some of the number 1 golfers in the world, building a YouTube following of 750,000 subscribers and what's still to come. 

Darcy and Harry are pleased to welcome the final guest of the series, Alex Webb!Alex, winner of Masterchef: The Professionals 2020 may have begun his career as a pot washer but soon cooked his way to a trophy. Throughout the episode Alex talks through his journey as a chef including working at London landmark The Savoy, his key inspirations growing up and shares his big aspirations for the future including an upcoming book and potential restaurant. What a guest to end the series!

Another familiar face for Darcy and Harry this week!The duo chatted with J-Fresh back in January hence the retro tv references but at least the announcements from Boris are getting better since then! The multi-talented DJ, Producer and Lecturer is supported by BBC Radio 1, 1Xtra and Kiss! Throughout the episode J openly discussed his football aspirations as a child, life as a DJ and his positive outlook on life. 

This week Darcy and Harry are joined by Harry's golf coach Jay Kelly. Jay has been a golf coach for just over a decade and has evolved extremely quickly in that time. Early on in his career he decided to use social media as his main marketing platform and has gone on to build an impressive following. In the episode Jay explains why he became a golf coach, speaks openly about his anxieties and spills the beans on Harry's golf. 

Darcy and Harry are delighted to welcome the youngest guest of the series so far. Ellie otherwise known (on Instagram) as Medic Mumma, is a mum of one, forth year medical student and co-business owner with her husband. Throughout the episode the duo chat to the unassuming soon-to-be doctor about all the interesting elements of her busy life, why she decided to start documenting it on Instagram and despite all of her achievements and bold steps in life the lack of confidence she has in herself at times. 

A bonus episode to brighten your week in which Darcy and Harry chat with Zane Powles MBE. Zane, ex-military turned primary school teacher, has recently been catapulted into the public eye due to his heroic acts. When the first lockdown struck, Zane decided to hand-deliver free school meals to his vulnerable pupils. This was later supported by footballer Marcus Rashford who campaigned to change Government Policy in regards to free school meals. In the episode Zane describes his own troubles in life and how they've encouraged him to do as much as possible for others, his hopes for the future and the overwhelming joy he felt receiving an MBE!

Half way through season one and Darcy and Harry are celebrating with a brilliant episode featuring Tom Zanetti.Tom is not only a platinum selling artist with his club hit ‘You Want Me' but also a business owner, recent TV star on ‘Celebs Go Dating' and most importantly to him a single dad. Throughout the episode Tom showcases his driven yet care-free attitude whilst also discussing the many difficulties he has faced including horrific trolling and bereavement. The third episode has arrived, and Darcy and Harry are thrilled to welcome Lauren Everet. Award-winning chef Lauren, began her career in Barcelona working on super yachts. Raised in South-Africa, Lauren found a love of food from a young age and went on to train in some of the culinary capitals of the world but a passion for helping others soon became her priority. Darcy and Harry are super excited to announce their second guest, Josh Warrington. Josh is a world champion boxer who held the IBF featherweight title for three years, to name one of his many impressive achievements. Throughout the episode Josh, otherwise known as the ‘boxing tooth-fairy' or ‘Leeds warrior', gives an insight into just how determined and passionate he is about his sport but also what a kind and funny man he is. The 1st episode is finally here! Darcy and Harry welcome their first guest, Kate Garraway.Kate has been working in the media industry for nearly 30 years. The TV Presenter, Radio DJ, author and mother of two has also starred in shows such as Strictly Come Dancing and I'm A Celeb. Back in December, the duo chatted with Hello magazine's Inspirational Woman of the Year about a range of topics including her childhood aspirations to be a vet, hurdles she faced throughout this extremely difficult year and future goals. As well as all this Kate shows her funny side throughout the episode with a Margaret Thatcher impression! You don't want to miss it.
