What do blockchain and agriculture have in common? That’s simple, FoodChain and David Proenza! This week we had the pleasure to speak with David Proenza, CEO at Urban Farms Global and FoodChain. In this episode, we talk about current issues affecting the agriculture and food production industry, and how FoodChain addresses these issue by applying blockchain and other cutting edge technologies to the production of food. New week, new episode! This Tuesday we are joined by Damiano Di Maio - an Italian lawyer, working in the financial services sector in Milan at Nunziante Magrone. Damiano has co-authored the first Italian book on cryptocurrencies and blockchain and has been awarded the blockchain prize by the Italian Parliament for his work and contribution to the fintech space in Italy. In this episode, we chat about the approach that Italy and, to a lesser extent, Switzerland take when it comes to fintech.
We are joined by Sam Buxton, MBA, Chartered Banker, MCIBS, and this interview is all about sweet cryptos, entrepreneurship, basketball, and even music! Sam is the Co-founder and CEO of Digital Asset Management Ltd, a fintech company providing over the counter, cold storage, advisory services and, as the name suggests, digital asset management services. As it is custom at Blockchain Rock, we cover Sam's journey, from getting a scholarship to play basketball in Missouri (USA), his experience in banking, and his move to crypto (including buying bitcoin at a beach bar in Tarifa).
