THE BOYS ARE BACK IN TOWN! This week the fellas give Doctor Doom his flowers before voicing their utter disgust for the new Morbius movie (14:01) and then fanning out over Taskmaster in the Black Widow trailer (20:41). They then imagine the possibility of Professor X and Magneto being black (31:52) and move on the DCEU and wonder what the recent Crisis event in the Arrowverse means moving forward (43:05). Later on the guys also give props to Snape for being the realest (52:53:18).
The boys are back and they start off this episode going in on James Cameron and his claims of taking back his throne when Avatar is re-released in theaters. They then move into the rumors of Marvel acquiring the full rights to Hulk and Namor (8:13), Christian Bale's role in the new Thor movie (32:26:12), and what that means for the future of the MCU. The conversation then moves is to gaming as the fella geek over the supposed backwards compatibility of the PS5 (49:30) while also shitting on Game Freak and they news of DLC for Pokémon SwSh (01:04:19). The guys also discuss what's going on in DB Super and if fan service is why Vegeta hasn't gotten his “moment” yet (01:23:18:06).
HAPPY NEW YEAR! The boys are back in town! After a sorta long hiatus the fellas are back with new akas and new content. They start with YouTube Rabbit Holes (9:00) before discussing their favorite conspiracy theories (19:16). Then the discussion turns to Cosplay (33:00) before wrapping up with their worst games of the decade (45:46) and if Sega could make a comeback to the console world (54:20). OUR FIRST SPECIAL GUEST EPISODE! Shouts out to Devin for allowing the guys to pick her brain this week. They get straight into in with the release of the Wonder Woman trailer (3:29) with leads into a discussion on the differences of Black heroes in comics (9:20). Later on Eli poses the question, “would you wanna be a hero?” (33:16) and the group argues about Aliens (41:05) before getting into why they were disappointed in Pokémon Sword and Shield (47:35:12). Then with Star Wars coming up soon Shamir and Eli get into J.J. Abrams shading Rian Johnson (1:11:07) and the real reason why Anakin turned dark (1:21:08).
The Dynamic Duo is in rare form this episode. They get started going on the Fat Albert movie (2:00) then head straight into what they're looking forward to after seeing Black Widow Trailer (8:50). Eli then teaches us how Spider-Man created Megazords (41:37) before the guys honor their most underrated superhero franchises (53:46). A random conversation on why Goku can't beat Superman (1:16:19) turns into why Shamir hates the character and also why a Black Superman wouldn't work (1:23:10) and they cap it off with their thoughts on Joker 2 (1:31:30).
