Hi Friends! Wow ... it's been a couple of weeks. And though when I thought to come and do an episode I did not think that it would be the "goodbye, I'll see you soon" kind of message-- here we are! In this episode I share with you a message Spirit gave to me... reminding me that all that I need, to show up, is available to me now--- there is no need to wait. And so I come by to share with you that everything you need is within you; right now! I love you. It is through our connection and experiences that I am inspired each moment to keep going. We are all worthy of living and expressing our truth/power. Each of us have a unique message to share with the collective, and often times the only thing to ponder is... how do we want to share it? Whatever the answer is for you--- And it may change as the seasons of your life do---- may you always remember that no matter where you are, and what you feel inspired to do, you are WORTHY. Your voice matters. I love you. I'll see you on the other side ;)
(Today) I believe we are all here for there same purpose, to remember our TRUTH; that we are Consciousness. And what that entails for each of us, individually, will likely look different. What we are inspired by, what we advocate for, and the intensity of that passion, will vary; it's all good. I believe our TRUTH, and our Realities, all matter. I also share some affirmations I created for myself; if they resonate, try them out =). May there be some gems in this episode for you. GRATITUDE, Cosmo Friends.
Yesss!! Hi Friends. Last week Spirit reminded me of how I live a life I prayed for. And inspired me to recall some things I recognized as I reflected on my journey to this point. In this episode I discuss what "manifesting" means to me, currently, and some things I learned in the process. The experiences I have had, allows me to live from a space of faith, trust, and knowing. I pray that this episode pours into you, in the way in which your soul desires for you. You are worthy of a life experience filled with Divine abundance, I pray that you experience it, because it's already yours. With Gratitude, I share this and thank you for inviting me in.
I wanted to come by and share a little bit about my mother and I's relationships. And what I have remembered by focusing on myself, and allowing my family to do and be who they are. I've been talking to other women and hearing their journey with their mothers. And after many years of my relationship with my bio mom being estranged, she's become someone I regularly speak with. Had someone told me we'd be where we are today, I wouldn't understand how. I want to encourage anyone out there who has relationships with individuals they wish would be “better” or different, to take care of yourself. Be mindful Of the stories you tell yourself. Be mindful of your expectations of others. Be mindful of the values you have and how you expect others to value the same. Check in with yourself. Become aware of what's yours to deal with and what's not. And if you take nothing else away from reflections + story time, know that you have agency of you! For you, its about you. You are worthy of being loved, respected, liked, healed, and forgiven. All the Divine things. Know that you are worthy, and allow your actions to be guided to express that. Moment by moment. Choice by choice. Smile by smile. I love you. And I'm here
Listen honey... life happened, and now we're back !!! In this episode I discuss what happened after the last episode I did in May, what I learned during these past couple of months, and my vision for this space moving forward. Feel free to share this with your family and friends. Rate this. And come check me on one of the social media platforms-- I will be waiting for you. Speak soon.
TRIGGER WARNING: I cry and talk about WHITE people** OH and I use swear language. Hi Friends! Early this week we George Floyd was murdered by a WHITE police officer. Following this came protest and responses in different forms. I woke up with a heavy heart on Saturday, May 29, 2020, and as my friends reached out to me, my emotions begin to overflow. I can not deny that this is A LOT. This is heavy. This really sucks. So as I was recording for myself, to allow myself space, I decided to be transparent and share with you all. May this inspire you to honor your emotions. May this inspire WHITE people to take responsibility for their racism, oppressive acts and attitudes, and microaggressions. May this inspire my WHITE friends, and your white friends, to acknowledge their privilege and SHOW UP. As a collective, we all have a part to play. I LOVE YOU ALL, and I AM HERE. Hi Lovies. This is an impromptu episode I recorded late at night, inspired by my Life Experience. Here we discuss manifestation, manifestation tools, and an encouragement for you to do what feels right for you! I love you and I want you to know that you are deserving of the life you desire, and you can experience all that you imagine. Let's connect on social media... Speak to you soon!!! Hey Loves! Thanks for being here. On this episode I am sharing an audio I recorded earlier in the week about "Getting in the soul seat of your life." Since this was previously recorded, I wanted to add an intro to it, and I am a talker, so I ended up recording another episode sort of. HA! I hope you enjoy what I share here. May you trust the inner guidance to lead you where you are being called, by the Divine, to go! I love you... IG: @Charliiestruthllc

In this episode I lay out some recent situations and experiences I have had that encouraged me to come back to the podcast and switch things up a bit. I am not known to discuss issues surrounding race, and lately, I feel like that's the bulk of the conversations I find myself in and around (you'll hear, "the why," in the podcast). I am grateful for my desire to be transparent and share my truth. May this episode be an invitation for us all to find acceptance with our experiences and transmuting any fear based energy into love. YOU ARE LIT. You always have been. You always will be. I LOVE YOU!
Hey All! It's been a while since I uploaded an episode; your soul's friend is back! Thank you to everyone who reached out about past episodes. And thank you to all of you who are here let's continue to FLOURISH! Instagram: @Charliiestruthllc Facebook: @charliiestruthllc
Thank you for your patience, I know it has been a while since I uploaded an episode. In this episode I discuss some shifts I have been making. I have been feeling called to take a break and it's been interesting. Currently I am unplugged from my social media accounts, screening emails/text messages/ and phone calls... and practicing more of experiencing the Present. Come through and tune in as I share what inspired these breaks and some of my reflections so far. I would love to hear from you. Please let me know if you can relate in any way. Life is full of constant change and in each season different tools may be required as we adjust. I pray that this episode resonates with someone out there. Love you.
I've been saying ‘Gratitude' in 3's for a while now, and it feels pretty amazing. I realized that when I started bringing awareness to my practice of gratitude something shifted within, and I was experiencing life different. Whether my practice of gratitude is the reason or not, I can't help but believe that it plays a major part! It is my BELIEF that GRATITUDE MATTERS. And with that being said, let's talk! ILY.
It's been about three weeks since we last connected. I AM SO EXCITED. This podcast episode talks about my perspective of growing and changing. I used to feel like I was incapable of committing to things because I was always changing my mind. And when I would change my mind other people reactions seemed to reflect that I was just this wishy washy person blowing with the wind... and maybe that's exactly what I was. But their reactions came off to me as if they disapproved or if somehow I was wrong in how I was living my life. As I am evolving and blossoming into who I called to be, I am realizing that these growth changes the choices I once made. Maybe a decision was right for “yesterday's Charliie,” but today Charliie is ready for an upgrade. This podcast episode talks about creating the space for your level up. Giving yourself permission to grow and make new choices, despite how others may view it. And to be patient with yourself in your journey of evolving. To whom much is given, much is required... My Love, you are exactly where you need to be, doing what you are called to be doing. Keep leveling up and changing directions as it resonates with your Soul. ILY.
This was not the easiest topic for me to record, nonetheless I was able to get it together. In this episode I talk about my experience with feeling as if I had to prove I was “black enough.” In addition, I do a CTA for us to have compassion and respond in love to one another as we discuss sensitive topics surrounding being black or a person of color. Clearly this episode doesn't even touch the surface of things, but maybe this can be a door for honest, loving, and REAL TALK. I am coming from my own perspective and therefore it is limited. However, I am interested in hearing your prespective and opinion. How can we supporting one another on this journey? How can we create more safe and welcome spaces, as a community? How can we accept our difference and still know that we are in this together; your way of responding to injustice-- doesn't have to look like mine. I love you and pray that this episode at least helps one being feel LOVE. xx, CHARLiiE
What I have is my experience and that is what I am here to share. Through prayer I have learned a lot! Some of the first things were: (1) be careful what you ask for because you will get it; (2) check in with yourself-- are you ready for an answer?; and (3) BE SPECIFIC + CLEAR. During the episode I get an “ah ha” moment... where it all comes together with some great guidance. Not just for you, but for myself. A cute little tip to enhance that prayer life of ours! Let's get these prayers out there (no holding back) and LEVEL UP!!! Example of Affirmations for the expectation of a prayer answered: I am thankful that my support is here. I am thankful that I was offered the job. IG: CharliiesTRUTH
This episode is jammed packed. Here are some things mention: I discuss being perceived as always happy or filled with joy-- and what that means for me. I share with you a recent situation that helped me realize that even when I am acting in love and light, sometimes the motive for that is FEAR. I discuss different aspects of choosing happiness and joy; taking back your power; being responsible for your life; & acknowledging things to be grateful for in all circumstances. You are in motion. Let's discuss some things that come up while we are in motion (aka journeying through life). How can we make the best of every situation? Activate your happiness. Activate your joy. It all starts with a choice. Find me at www.charliiestruth.com or on IG at charliiestruth
Faith grows with experience. Check out Episode 14 where I discuss some of my journey to living faith.
In Episode 13 we talk about the battle with the critic within. Sometimes it is other people downplaying our dreams and goals, however often times, it's the critic within us. So how do you deal with the inner critic? Have you acknowledged the presence of the inner critic when it shows up? And if you have witnessed your own inner critic, how do you move forward with those goals despite what the critic has to say? I LOVE YOU! And in 2019 and beyond, we're all glowing up! Let's make sure we keep in mind what we're up against. IG: Charliiestruth website: charliiestruth.com
In this episode I talk about releasing the expectations placed on us as a result of the role or labels we occupy within society. As womxn or men, there are certain expectations placed on us, however, often times those expectations limit our experience. In the limitation of Being, we act in accordance with the labels and roles we are placed in. We allow roles or social expectations to dictate how we should or shouldn't behave. Instead of doing what we truly desire, we make our choices in accordance of what's expected of us. This relates also to our emotions and how they manifest. On this podcast episode I discuss CRYING. Too often I hear womxn express how they want to cry but they stop themselves. And they don't stop themselves because of how they feel, they are so focused on how others will react. I wanted to touch on that and also encourage you to CRY IF YOU WANT TO! And yes, cry, even if in public. If you want to skip the intro and B.O.L.D. segment, the discussion starts around minute 9 + 20 seconds. K. Until next week, later. IG:CharliiesTRUTH Website: www.Charliiestruth.com
It's a new calendar year and I have a resource for you. In this episode I discuss the 7 day self-paced e-mail challenge, TAP IN, that is now available. Hear more about it and a bit of my lessons learned as I officially introduce it to the challenge to the soul family. The link to the challenge can be found through my IG page (link in bio) and website. IG: @CharliiesTRUTH Website: www.charliiestruth.com
This is the final official episode for calendar year 2018! Woohoo!! ******** A couple of years ago, motivational speaker, Trent Shelton had a motto that he ran hard, “Stop breaking your own heart." For me, this was all about choosing you first. It was about taking responsibility for the part you played in your circumstances and relationships. And as we hear the saying, we all may resonate with it on different levels. However, in this episode, I discuss some common ways in which we break our own hearts and I share some examples. I pray that you are loving all over yourself. And treating yourself well. I LOVE YOU. Until 2019, see ya! =) IG: CharliiesTRUTH Website: www.charliiestruth.com
This episode has two parts (not intentionally, it just happened). The first part is a message that I somehow glided into. It is all about you getting on the frequency of what you desire. The second part (the planned message) is all about you paving your own way. You were called to create your own path to fulfill your calling. It is a unique path. No one can tell you how to get there. They can support you and share their wisdom, but ultimately, it is up to you to decide what is best for you. TRUST YOUR SOUL. IT KNOWS THE WAY.
I am coming through to ask you: What are you doing with your life. Are you doing what feels good to your heart and soul? Are you creating your own path? Are you being intentional? Are you honoring yourself? How are you showing up?! This week I used Simon Sinek's Why Statement template to create the Why Statement for this season of my life. And while I was doing that it came to my spirit, ask them, “What are you doing with your life.” And so this was a impromptu recording, nonetheless, it's a message! Whoever this message is for, I pray that it blesses you and inspire you to take intentional action to OWN + MANAGE YOUR LIFE. Remember: Change is inevitable, but growth is intentional (quote author, unknown). I love you! Want to contact me? Come through on IG @ Charliiestruth to leave me a love note and feedback. I appreciate you!
In this episode I open the floor to the discussion of ego. In addition, I discuss being consciousness, creating inner space, and self-awareness. Too often we are told kill the ego, or we discuss ego as if it is a negative thing. But reality is, we all experiences with ego, and it's not a bad or good thing, it just is. Ego is more than the self-sabotage thoughts we have, or responding from a place of anger or entitlement. It is more than an overinflated sense of self. Ego is identity or sense of self that you carry. Despite many recommending that we “Kill the Ego,” my belief is that we become aware of it and practice managing it. My belief is that at our core, we are consciousness. And when we become conscious of not only things, but become conscious of our consciousness, we can stop holding our identity of self (ego) at such a high place. OUR TRUE SELF doesn't need praise or pity, it is already whole and has everything it needs. Deepak Chopra said -- “ “If you want to reach a state f bliss, then go BEYOND your ego and the internal dialogue. Make a decision to relinquish the need to control, the need to be approved, and the need to judge. Those are the three things ego is doing all the time. It's very important to be aware of them every time they come up.” My opinion, self-awareness is the key. The key to our freedom.
As I reflected on Spirit's message to me on 'my why' and intentions for some things I was doing, it came to me-- “Get in Alignment.” This is with the gift of self-reflection and self-awareness. This episode was recorded to encourage you to get in alignment with your heart and soul's desire. We can start the inquiry by asking ourselves: what is your why? In addition to other questions... PLUS encouragement regarding not hesitating on making desired changes, take chances, go as fast or as slow on your journey, AND remind yourself that YOU ARE IN CHARGE OF YOUR LIFE... This podcast is new. Please share your candid feedback...Find me on IG @ CharliiesTRUTH
While I was exercising the phase “allow life to be your teacher” came to me. I thought of how deep that was. How meaningful it was. And I knew the message wasn't only for me. Listen in on some ways we can allow life to be a teacher and shift our perspective. Give yourself permission to experience life without attachment. It's all an OPPORTUNITY. Be open to receive. I love you.
This episode is a follow up from Episode 3, Story-time. In Michael Singer's book, The Untethered Soul: The Journey Beyond Yourself, he discusses the inner thorn in our lives. When we discover we have an inner thorn, we can either make sure nothing disturbs the thorn by protecting it, or you can pull it out. Most of us believe that protecting it is the best option, however we fail to realize that when we make that choice of protection, the thorn ends up controlling our lives. And the more we attempt to protect it, the more we must cater to it. In the previous episode I shared a thorn I had, my fear of love, and how I made the choice to pull the thorn out. Do you have a thorn in your life that you've been protecting, either consciously or subconsciously? What would you need in order to feel safe removing that thorn? Think about the relief and the freedom you'll have if you removed it? Is that most authentic version of you... worth it? I hope you'd say yes, if not now, some day soon. Remove the inner thorn & get to the root of the issue.
Consider this a Story Time Episode. Charliie shares her latest lesson learned. After completing a life path reading with a Medium and self-reflecting on past choices, she was able to acknowledge her toxic pattern in relationships. Listen as Charliie shares her biggest challenges with relationships, her deep rooted fears, how those fears showed up in her life, and what she did to BREAK THE CYCLE, and free herself. Too often we respond from a place of fear. Whether it's remaining in relationships or at jobs that no longer serve our highest good or settling because we are too afraid of missing out. Charliie shares how she finally found the self-love, courage, and strength to break the cycle and get REAL WITH HERSELF. It's not always easy to accept that you were breaking your own heart, but when you say it out loud and admit the facts, you can decide to change the narrative. Charliie is changing her narrative and prays that her transparency brings you the inspiration and courage to know that you are capable and ready! What habit are you ready to break? Decide today...
In this episode Charliie discusses the creation of The B.O.L.D. Project Journal and how this podcast is an extension of that purpose. In addition she shares her journey of creating the journal and what she realized once it was completed and published.
