It's been nearly six years since Hailey Bieber last appeared on the cover of Vogue—and let's just say, a lot has changed. Now the face of Rhode, one of the most talked-about celebrity skincare brands, Vogue's summer cover star is also stepping into a new chapter as a mother to her son, Jack Blues. On this episode of The Run-Through, writer Alessandra Codinha sits down with Chloe Malle and Deputy Editor Taylor Antrim and shares insights from her time with Hailey—covering everything from the intense scrutiny she faces online, her relationship with her husband Justin Bieber, and the deeply personal story of her difficult childbirth.Earlier on the show, Radhika Seth reports live from the Croisette at the Cannes Film Festival with the latest from the red carpet and the big screen. She recaps her favorite films so far—and the buzzy ones she's most looking forward to. As Taylor notes, "deranged mothers" seem to be trending this season, with Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson's Die, My Love making headlines after its festival premiere. Radhika also weighs in on the controversy swirling around Eddington, Ari Aster's much-hyped follow-up to Beau Is Afraid (spoiler alert: it didn't make her top picks.)And of course, no Cannes coverage would be complete without a fashion moment. The group crowned their unofficial “Queens of Cannes,” with Jeremy Strong earning his title for perfectly coordinating his bucket hats and suits, and Alexander Skarsgård turning heads in thigh-high Saint Laurent boots. Season 6, Episode 10: 48th Gene Key – From Inadequacy to Wisdom In this episode of My Love of Life Energy, I'm joined by Molly Lynch, my partner in the Exquisite Being project, for a heartfelt conversation on the 48th Gene Key. Together, we explore its evolutionary path: Shadow: Inadequacy — the quiet self-doubt that fuels overcompensation and hiding. Gift: Resourcefulness — the strength that emerges when we pause, trust, and reconnect with the body's intelligence. Siddhi: Wisdom — a deep stillness that isn't something to know, but something to be. Through personal stories—from navigating storms to cooking in the dark—we reveal how life's unexpected moments can become portals to presence and self-trust. This episode is an invitation to see your shadows not as flaws, but as doorways to the exquisite being within. While one was within the second third of one's life, one had all these goals in view, of happy marriage, happy fathering, and (most of all, sadly) successful careering. That was the way it was -- and probably the way it is, at least for some who may be reading this. And in that (now) embarrassing order, too. But at this point it's beginning to look a little bankrupt -- at least the order of valuation. Maybe "superficial" is a better word. So "What Now, My Love?" (H. Alpert/M. Ryder/Sonny & Cher... ad infinitum). Is the last third of life, i.e., for those of us among the "new demographic", disillusionment and moping; or compulsed repetition; or possibly/impossibly "Behold, I do a New Thing" (Isaiah 43:19)? Today, and again next week, my friend Hewes Hull and I will be discussing this (to us, core) theme: What Now, My Love? Is it Marcus-Aurelian grinning-and-bearing it? Or maybe assisted suicide, even? Or again, "Something Better Beginning" (The Kinks, 1965)? Hewes has had a fine career practising law and then in private equity finance. He has an extraordinary wife, Trent, of 31 years. Hewes himself is 57 years of age. (A young man, as I now pronounce him.) His chief hobbies are theology, jujitsu and hunting/fishing. Hope you'll enjoy our conversation. Oh, and I hope you'll LUV the closing track, by... wait for it... Bobby Sherman! LUV U.

Friends of the Rosary,Today, Tuesday before Ash Wednesday is a traditionally celebrated the Holy Face of Jesus.Gazing upon the face of Christ crucified unites us with all His sorrows, love, and total abandonment. In 1957, Pope Pius XII established this feast.Jesus revealed devotion to the Holy Face to Sister Marie of Saint Peter (1816-1848), a Carmelite nun from Tours, France. Our Lord said to her:“Every time My Face is contemplated, I will pour out My Love into the hearts of those persons, and by means of My Holy Face, the salvation of many souls will be obtained.”Two miraculous images are associated with the Holy Face Devotion: Veronica's Veil, the cloth used by Saint Veronica to wipe the face of Jesus during his passion, and the Holy Shroud of Turin, the burial cloth of Christ. As revealed to Blessed Sister Pierina, Tuesday is a day of reparation to the Holy Face in front of the Blessed Sacrament. Ave Maria!Jesus, I Trust In You!Come, Holy Spirit, come!To Jesus through Mary!+ Mikel Amigot | RosaryNetwork.com, New York• March 4, 2025, Today's Rosary on YouTube | Daily broadcast at 7:30 pm ET

Paul McCartney certainly knows how to stay busy! 2 weeks ago Paul "Rocked The Bowery Ballroom" and closed out the 50th Anniversary of SNL! Today, 26th February 2025 he announced the forthcoming release of his OWN book titled: "Wings: The Story of a Band On The Run." The press release: As the Sixties came to a close, Paul was faced with the daunting prospect of being a solo artist for the first time. Wings' ascension to the top of the charts with classic albums including Band on the Run, Venus and Mars and At the Speed of Sound, along with the band's stadium-filling live shows would prove to critics and fans that not all great acts are impossible to follow. Wings:The Story of a Band on the Run is a rousing, stereophonic celebration of the songs, collaborations and performances that would shape the soundtrack of the late 20th century. Drawn from over 500,000 words, based on dozens of hours of interviews with Paul and numerous key players in the band's orbit, Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run weaves together the improbable trajectory of Paul McCartney and his newly formed band (featuring co-founding members Linda McCartney and Denny Laine) across the technicolor 1970s until their dissolution in 1981. Edited by the prize-winning historian Ted Widmer and organized around nine Wings albums, the oral history sheds new light on the immediate aftermath of the seismic global impact of The Beatles' break-up, as the musical landscape and tastes began to splinter and diverge along with societal views. The narrative follows the various incarnations of the band as they survive a mugging in Nigeria, appear unannounced at UK university halls, tour in a sheared-off school bus with their children, while producing some of the most indelible and acclaimed music of the decade, including: “Mull of Kintyre,” “Live and Let Die,” “Band on the Run,” “My Love,” “Jet,” “With a Little Luck,” “Silly Love Songs,” “Let ‘Em In,” “Junior's Farm” and more. With more than 100 black-and-white and color photographs, many never seen before, Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run is part of a larger reexamination and appreciation of the group and their catalog, including the 2024 theatrical release of the rare Wings live-in-studio performance film One Hand Clapping and its accompanying album; 50th anniversary editions of the Wings albums Band on the Run (released February 2024) and Venus and Mars (releasing March 2025); and a forthcoming documentary on Paul McCartney's solo and Wings-related musical work of the 1970s from Academy Award-winning filmmaker, Morgan Neville. 2025 is shaping up to be a FANTASTIC year for all of us Macca-diehards!

Season 2 of Closing Night is finally here—the theater history podcast that takes you behind the curtain to uncover stories about famous and forgotten Broadway show that closed too soon. While season 1 focused on musicals that came and went from the Marquis Theatre, this season I'm tackling a whole new kind of theatrical heartbreak: shows that never actually opened on Broadway. These are the productions that fizzled out during out-of-town tryouts or preview performances, including Lone Star Love, The Little Prince and the Aviator, Lolita, My Love, Let My People Come, and Breakfast at Tiffany's, among others. Episodes start at the end of January and will drop once a month throughout the year, with the first episode being all about Annie 2: Miss Hannigan's Revenge, which was actually slated to open at the Marquis Theatre but was canceled after a disastrous run in Washington, DC. Make sure to follow Closing Night on your favorite podcast app and stay connected on Instagram at @closingnightpodcast. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Hello everyone and welcome to today's episode of Bob Barry's Unearthed Interviews. It's more music and memories with singer and actress Petula Clark. And I emphasize actress because I saw Petula star, in London, as Norma Desmond in a performance of “Sunset Boulevard.” She was magnificent. You all know her from her timeless hits, most written by British composer Tony Hatch. Her first number one song was inspired by the energy and excitement on the streets of New York. “My Love” was another song written by Hatch for Clark. It relates a deep, personal expression of love and promising devotion and shows an emotional side to the singer. “I Know a Place” was recorded in London, where most of her hits were made. Hatch used a catchy piano riff and brass section which made it lively and upbeat. Her music conveyed a carefree feeling and a celebration of life. Petula Clark's career spanned generations. She is an artist from the golden age of pop to Broadway, television, and beyond, making her a beloved figure in entertainment. It was early in the morning in Las Vegas and I was as surprised as she was when she answered the phone.

It shall burn out all dross of the mortal mind, smallness of nature, meanness of spirit, vindictiveness, jealousy. It shall burn out all carelessness of your habits, in the outer realms of your being. My Law and My Order can then function perfectly in your life. Then and then only will you be a worthy vessel for the inflow of My Spirit. Then and then only can My Spirit flow through you to other of My children. Likewise shall all disease be burned from the physical body, that nothing shall interfere with My Plan for your life. As the sigh of your spirit disturbs the flame and makes the candle drip, so the faintest wavering of your feet from the path of attainment causes a less steady burning of My Flame in your heart, and My Work goes on in imperfection. Oh, My Beloved, how necessary that you live with the eye single, to the high purpose of your calling. But you have many helpers. No soul who enters the path is left to walk alone. So go on, day by day, with the light and assurance of My Love in your face. Mighty Ones whom you see not, are by your side. And the forces of darkness shall touch you not."-Eva Bell Werber, ‘Quiet Talks the Master'"Dear God, help me to not lose sight of your presence when things are going well."-UnknownSupport the show

You get a full house this week. We discuss Thanksgiving leftovers. We talk babies and baby food. We discuss the uncomfortable nature of early 90s RnB crooners always warning women at the beginning of their songs. Y'all remember Piece of My Love by Guy? We discuss a 30-year-old argument regarding that piece of art. Pumpkin Pie is some white people food. They are making a Rudy Ray More biopic for Netflix, so we discuss it and Blaxploitation movies in general. This bit of discussion was inspired by a much longer discussion on the Lasertime Podcast so check them out. Gabe saw Scarface way to young. Ant's youngest is The King of the Livingroom. The Christopher Nolan Dark Knight Trilogy is amazing, Box lent a friend his copy and we aren't quite sure which was better, Dark Knight or Rises. We discuss some kids' movies as Ant has been watching them with is oldest.
