On May 25th 2020, Minneapolis police officers arrested and murdered George Floyd, a 46 year old black man, after being accused of trying to buying cigarettes with a counterfeit $20 bill. This incident has since caused the video recording to go viral, gain attention of national news, and incite many people to protest for the injustice that was witnessed on yet another black man in America. We give our opinion on the injustice that happened in Minneapolis as well as the state of our country during these troubling times and ask that those listening will not only have empathy for those who are hurting due to the injustices in our society, but also do your part to bring about change in the United States.
