Father's Day is showing me more of the reason for the holiday, and any holiday for that matter, reflection and celebration. Most recently, I've learned to have empathy for the grieving process and not just have sympathy for my loved ones going through it. Holidays like this, cause people to feel sad and sorrowful, I'm learning to celebrate! I am also learning the direct effects of the way my kids' dads got fathered, is having a HUGE impact on the way they parent. Question for the ladies, do you date men with children who are dead beat dads? Or is that not your problem?
#TrackMomLife is EXHAUSTING, but being around like minded parents is the ultimate cheat code! This episode I discuss, the move from Baltimore to Charlotte and how it 'seemed' abrupt. I talk about how meeting parents in the south has been such a welcoming party, that has not only heightened my eagerness to perfect my mommying, but also increased my desire to be a wife.
