This week I sit down with the California Kid, Collie. He served onboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt and we break down some of the National Headline news from the beginning of COVID and what it was like to be onboard with the Famously Infamous Captain Crozier. 

This week I sit down and have a hilariously drunken story telling session with 2 great guys I met in my travels. We talk about growing up in Michigan and how an Alpaca jacket can get you into a lot of trouble. Enjoy this drunken episode with Garth.

This week I sit down with my younger brother and we discuss growing up in a small town, having a decrepit old dog, and how a sudden onset illness affected his life forever.

This week I sat down with my 2 best friends and work mates, the primary boiz, Carl Lindau and Noah Wheeler. We discuss trucks, odd stories, and work related issues that we all dealt with together from our time on the Stennis.

This week I sat down with my boy Gabe again and you know we had to talk about all the fitness this man does. We discuss perceptions vs reality, becoming a dad, new jobs, and a whole lot of fitness.

This week on Getting Old with Garth, I sit down with the Cali Kids and we talk about changing mindsets after deployment, carrying the knowledge forward for new people, and dealing with change in all aspects of military life.

This week I sit down with some of my great friends from my in-plant days. Jeff Cloe is a leading member and maintenance technician for the Electrical division onboard the Stennis. Caitlin Batson is a nuclear trainer onboard the Stennis and is in charge of nuclear qualifications for the electrical division on the ship. We talk about our time together onboard and recount how we all followed similar paths to becoming the top of the food chain in our respective work centers. We talk about the crossroads we found on our military time and how relationships and bonds are formed so deeply in military service time.

This week I am Getting Old with two friends I made onboard the USS John C Stennis. Noah Wheeler is an easy going adventure nut who just wants to have fun and you'll see a lot of his antics in this episode. Isaiah Garcia is a former ambassador for Z Crew USA. We talk about why people join the military, fun stories of our time in, and how loss while in service can affect an already fractured mentality.

This week on Getting Old With Garth, I sit down with Ethan Zebron, a Naval Officer currently serving in Virginia. We bring in Tim Earl Cooley, Owner of Two Sailors with Wood, and discuss Cocaine runners, Tesla, Doge coin, Aliens, and Fighting. We get serious about some growing up topics dealing with family troubles growing up and what it means to grow through tragedy. I hope you enjoy this new episode and grow old with us.
