She joined the faculty at Hendrix College in 2007. She has won awards for her teaching at both The Ohio State University and Hendrix College and she is currently a Professor of Psychology and she served for two years as the Chair the Psychology department. Dr. Zorwick chaired the campus Committee on Diversity and Dialogue for three years, served on the campus Advisory Board for Education and the Prevention of Sexual Assault, and has served as an elected faculty representative four times. She teaches courses about social psychology, with a particular focus on stereotyping, prejudice reduction, identity, and belonging. Her teaching goes beyond the classroom in her research with students on prejudice reduction strategies and the development of empathy and perspective taking, her work with a colleague in Religious Studies that uses Bible study as a way to facilitate conversations about racial justice, and her work developing inclusive academic communities related to a National Science Foundation STEM Scholars grant that supports students from historically underrepresented groups.
