Impostor syndrome in kids is more common than we think, and how parents respond to self-doubt can shape their children's confidence for life. Joining host Elise Hu is Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson as she reflects on her built resilience and found motivations throughout her life. Justice Jackson shares her best strategies for combating impostor syndrome, and finding community in a new space after becoming the first Black woman to serve on the Supreme Court of the United States. She and Elise reflect on practical parenting tips touched in Jackson's New York Times bestselling memoir Lovely One, now adapted for young adults, and gives words of advice for getting our kids to persevere and sometimes, simply try. Key Takeaways: Listen to, engage with, and encourage your kids to help build their confidence. Reframe hard times or hard work as opportunities for growth. Find community in new spaces to help build belonging and resilience. Acknowledge and celebrate your successes to remind yourself of your value. Remember where, what, and who got you to where you currently are as a method for combatting impostor syndrome. ⏱️ Timestamps: Keep the conversation going at home with our FREE Conversation Kit companion guide: https://delivery.shopifyapps.com/-/bfb5b229d1abd51e/dd80edeb27002d41 New episodes every Tuesday: YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@AKidsCo Apple: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/raising-us-a-parenting-podcast/id1552286967 Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/2bIRVxM8hbriNxydkSv6VG Or wherever you get your podcasts.

Asa and Victoria sat in the room while Rex Heuermann confessed to eight murders. The woman running those sessions, Allison Winter, is now the one facing prison time, charged with practicing as a clinical social worker without a license for nearly three years. Legal analyst Eric Faddis returns to dig into whether that detail gives Heuermann's defense a real opening, starting with the theory that his guilty plea itself may have been built on a fraudulent foundation.Faddis walks through the privilege question everyone's been asking: does confidentiality still protect a conversation with someone who wasn't legally a therapist? He breaks down both sides of that fight and what it could mean if Heuermann's team tries to challenge the plea on appeal. Then we turn to the D4VD case, where a new Hulu documentary and a fresh status conference collided in the death of fourteen-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez. Faddis explains why the documentary's on-camera interviews with an LAPD detective and the district attorney could become a serious liability during cross-examination, and why the defense may argue the case has already been tried publicly before it ever reaches a jury. We also cover the purchase history prosecutors have flagged and what it suggests about how many people were involved, with the preliminary hearing coming up on the twenty-first.Three cases, three legal fights, all colliding on the same day.  Asa and Victoria sat in the room while Rex Heuermann confessed to eight murders. The woman guiding those family sessions, Allison Winter, is now the one facing prison time for allegedly running the whole arrangement without a valid license. We bring back legal analyst Eric Faddis to dig deeper into what this means, starting with a theory that could actually matter on appeal: did Heuermann plead guilty specifically to protect his family from having to testify about what he confessed, and if that confession came out of a deceptive setup, does the reasoning behind his plea collapse. From there we get into the privilege fight everyone's been asking about. Does confidentiality still cover conversations with someone who wasn't legally a therapist? Faddis breaks down how this could play out in court, government prosecutors likely arguing the protection only applies to real clinicians, defense attorneys countering that it protects the patient's expectation of privacy regardless of who was sitting across from them. We also tackle the HIPAA question directly, and whether any of these sessions could now be treated as fair game for investigators. Then there's the fruit of the poisonous tree question, and why Faddis thinks it likely doesn't apply here since Winter was never acting on the government's behalf. This is one of those side stories that keeps threatening to reshape the entire case, and we walk through every angle of it.Join Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? In this episode, Michelle joins Toni for one of the most honest and energizing conversations about non-linear leadership careers, the VP comfort zone, ambition redefined, and the single mindset shift that separates people who keep growing from the ones who plateau. She also gets into the AI transformation her team is driving right now — and why women leaders need to be the ones at the front of that conversation. What we cover: ⏹  The accidental start to a 27-year career in market research — and what kept it interesting ⏹  Lateral moves as a deliberate growth strategy: why sideways sometimes beats upward ⏹  The VP comfort zone: what safety at that level really means and why it can become a trap ⏹  Doing the C-suite job before getting the title — and knowing when to have that conversation ⏹  Ambition redefined: how wanting to do good rather than be better than your peer actually gets you further ⏹  The red personality: challenge first, commit fully — and why this style gets mistaken for resistance ⏹  Best and worst case scenario decision-making at the executive level ⏹  The team-to-company mindset shift: the single biggest blocker to executive progression ⏹  Women driving AI transformation — and why female leaders need to be at the front of this ⏹  Impostor syndrome, confidence, and learning to own your outcomes rather than calling them luck ⏹  The role of executive coaching across every level of a career ⏹  What Michelle would tell her younger self: trust your decisions and let the negativity go Connect with today's guest & sponsor Michelle Darcy-Clarke of Cint ⏹  LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/michelledarcyclarke  ⏹  Cint: cint.com This episode was sponsored by our guest, Michelle Darcy-Clarke of Cint. Welcome back to the Woody Allen Retrospective Podcast for another episode of Woody Allen Adjacent!   As we get ever closer to the re-retrospective coming this October 2026 we carry our Adjacent series and this month it's James's pick he's chosen Stanley Tucci's possibly overlooked 1998 comedy The Impostors—a loving homage to the golden age of slapstick, screwball comedies, and classic double acts like Laurel & Hardy and the Marx Brothers.   Packed with an incredible ensemble cast including Oliver Platt, Alfred Molina, Steve Buscemi, Tony Shalhoub, Lili Taylor, Isabella Rossellini, Billy Connolly and even a brief appearance from Woody Allen himself, this is one of those films that has quietly built a passionate cult following over the years… while leaving plenty of other viewers completely baffled.   Along the way, Don discovers that he may never have truly understood what defines a farce until finally sitting down with this film, while James makes the case that Hollywood simply doesn't take creative swings like this anymore. Whether The Impostors is a forgotten comedy gem or an ambitious experiment that doesn't quite come together… it certainly gave us plenty to talk about.   Thanks as always for listening!   ==========================================================   Links mentioned in this episode:   James Content Rollout Announcement Trailer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OEFovWooMuA   Stanley Tucci's The Impostors (1998) Interview - https://freshairarchive.org/segments/actor-director-and-writer-stanley-tucci-imposters   ==================================================   For full cast details, user reviews, and more background on the film, check out:

#psicologoemocionalonline #viral #parati #pyf #fyp #psicologia #sindromedelimpostor #relaciones #autoestima #bienestaremocional #podcastpsicologia

Impostor syndrome is essentially a persistent inability to believe that your success is actually deserved. The underlying feeling is: "If they really knew...". If they knew how bad I am with time, how divided my heart is, or how little I know what I'm doing, they'd never listen.Regardless of your level of success, you still get hit with this feeling that you're just not enough. I've lived this. When I was a young pastor newly out of seminary, I didn't think I knew what I was doing, so I tried to pattern myself after others—trying to sound like Mark Driscoll or Chuck Swindoll. Even now as a streamer, I struggle with view counts because there is "no good number". If the number is high, I feel like I've fooled everybody; if it's low, I feel like it's what I deserve. But I want you to consider this: Is it possible that your fear of inadequacy will actually make you dependent on God? When God called Moses, Moses didn't list his education or power; he asked, "Who am I?". God's response wasn't about Moses' skills—it was simply, "I will be with you".Your feeling of calling is more important than your credentials. That feeling of "I don't know what I'm doing" actually becomes a qualifier. It keeps you praying, preparing, and making sure what you say has value. I'm here to serve you, not to feed my own ego.

Welcome, welcome, welcome to the Distraction Pieces Podcast with Scroobius Pip!This week Pip is joined by host, presenter and returning guest IAIN LEE!Iain is a welcome, familiar face to a lot of us - someone who's been involved with some really great things, and it's a great chance to catch up and check in on where life's been leading him for the past handful of years (or more fairly, where's he's been directing his life. Truly it hasn't been an easy journey, with various dependancies and relapses on the table, but the 2026 Iain is congniscant of how these situations came into play and is able to trace the path. But there have been some awesome stops on the journey too, in finding love via a long term working relationship, and navigating an incredibly heavy and tense live radio situation resulting in a life-saving triangulation of listeners. Included in the chat of course are re-evaluations of the past and past works, I'm A Celeb, humiliation vs humility, figuring out a live show in your living room, and confronting the end of level conscience boss that is the fact that one might be as good as one hoped to be. Lilly recalls starting guitar at 12, overcoming shyness to perform, and beginning songwriting in middle school, describing how melodies and lyrics arrive together and how she captures ideas on voice memos. She explains how songs develop at different speeds, how albums reflect a specific time period, and how collaboration shapes unexpected recording outcomes, including working with her husband Colby on Forever and their project Domestic Bliss. Lilly shares early memories touring with her dad, favorite venues, thoughts on Napster's impact on making a living through touring, and influences like Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen's Nebraska. She discusses personal songs “Ray,” “Thoughts,” and “Impostor,” then plugs upcoming Texas-area shows and encourages fans to support by buying merch and records at gigs. 00:00 Cold Open Dialogue 00:53 Podcast Intro And Guest Reveal 02:12 First Meeting And Fan Story 03:11 Early Guitar And Stage Nerves 05:46 Writing Songs And Poetry Roots 06:56 Songwriting Process And Tools 11:33 Building Albums And Collaboration 14:51 Domestic Bliss With Husband 15:41 Growing Up On Tour 16:35 Backstage Hello From Linda 17:52 Tour Life And Favorite Venues 23:50 Napster Era And Music Business 25:27 Touring Economics And Team 27:15 Touring Help Needed 27:45 Pearl Jam Origins 29:27 Eddie Vedder Shoutout 30:15 Writing Ray for Sister 31:15 Family Bonds and Aunt Life 33:43 Thoughts Voicemail Choice 34:57 Producer Magic Explained 37:25 Nashville Identity and Genre 39:24 Creative Goals Abroad 40:32 Springsteen Nebraska Deep Dive 43:02 Impostor Verse Backstory 47:27 Shows Merch and Farewell Learn more about your ad choices. You cannot build the matriarchy out THERE if the patriarchy is still running the operating system in HERE. That's what this episode is about. Yesterday I recorded something I've been working with for a long time: the six shadows of patriarchal programming that keep you loyal to a system designed to extract from you and hold you in a vibration of fear. In your relationship with money, with food, with your body, with rest, with desire, with your own worthiness. I call them the LIVIDS: Lack. Isolation. Victimhood. Impostor. Doubt. Shame. You know them. They live in your body, not just your mind. They got passed down through your lineage, reinforced by culture, how you were parented, and dressed up as personal flaws you've been trying to resolve in therapy for years. Stop trying to fix programming and learn the practices that make it obsolete. In this episode I walk you through each of the LIVIDS, how they show up in your relationship with money and the 6 matriarchal power hacks that rewire them. This is where mindset meets the brass tax of trauma integration. Because a new world requires a new body, one that can actually hold what we're trying to build. She is a New York Times best-selling author. Her podcast ‘Hey Spirit!' is available everywhere you listen. Learn more at https://theresacaputo.com Theresa recently sat down with Cybercrime Magazine during one of her popular tour stops and told us, "I'm the victim of cybercrime. When someone reaches out claiming to be Theresa Caputo and wanting to give you a reading, it's not me. I don't contact you, your dead relatives contact me. I'm not bothering anybody, it's the dead people that are bothering me. And now the scammers are bothering me!" Theresa's Facebook following tops 4 million, but scammers are exploiting her name. Fake Theresa Caputo accounts and groups – some with massive followings of their own – are posing as the Long Island Medium and defrauding victims through fake psychic readings, counterfeit event tickets, and more. “This is why we formed my fan club,” Caputo told us. “Back in 2014, we did it because people were taking advantage of my ticket prices. They were reselling fake tickets, promising them private readings, and people were paying thousands of dollars for these tickets. This is how we were really aware of what was starting to happen, but you're talking 12 years ago, before all of this blew up, and most certainly before AI.” Caputo stressed to us that she never charges for readings. Her fan club, which is accessible at https://TheresaCaputo.com, is the only way to get legitimate show tickets and reading information. The Long Island Medium also got personal with us. Theresa shared about the cyberbullying her daughter experienced, and how they fought back. “Do I like social media? Yeah, I like it because again, it's about connection and awareness, but the downside to this is that it's consuming our minds. It's allowing this unnecessary bullying and destroying people in their lives, taking advantage of people, scamming people. It's awful,” she said. • For more on cybersecurity, visit us at https://cybersecurityventures.com
