On March 9th 2020 over a cup of coffee at Pennylane Coffee in NYC (pre-NYC lockdown/ pre-schools & offices closing) Kaira and Adam discussed the Coronavirus in New York City with a bottle of hand sanitizer at the ready. They talk about washing their hands, coughing in their elbow pits, and greeting people. Also, what is the process of dry cleaning? How is that actually done? We have no idea!!

Kaira and Adam try something new and record the show from a podcasting booth at a shared space while drinking Enzo Ginseng. Yes, Adam didn’t get an Oat Latte and yes Kaira didn’t get an Americano or a Cappuccino…or another beverage ending with an “o”. They discuss trying new things in the areas of travel, food, and everyday life. Do you try new things? If not, you should!
Kaira and Adam were invited to try a new drink called Enzo Ginseng! While the drink does not contain caffeine, its supposed to give you a similar experience to coffee. Quite frankly, Kaira and Adam thought it was amazing! They spoke to the owner, Alessandro, who from Italy and their Chief Marketing Officer Rachel Graper about their beverage. Why did they create it? What are the benefits of the drink? How many can one consume in a day? And, what other beverages do they plan on coming out with?!
Pew Research Center says, "Among U.S. couples, women do more cooking and grocery shopping than men." Is this true? Also, who does more laundry? And do we sit down for Sunday dinner anymore? Kaira also finds out that Adam is 50% Syrian!
Kaira and Adam chat about the Coronavirus that’s spreading from China to the US. Adam didn’t get the flu shot this year! And did you know that actors, comedians, etc. help people feel better? Adam is a different person when he buys a car. He thinks car salesmen try to take advantage of you as soon as you walk in the showroom; "Would you like something to drink? A cup of coffee? Water? A sandwich?" . Adam says you have to go in there with knowledge of what you want and how much you want to spend to get it. "Cut the small talk and stay focused. Get to the point. You are there to buy a car!" This is uncharted territory for Kaira since she has never bought a car before. Their chat took place in Bryant Park over a couple of coffees from Blue Bottle.
