This week we had the honor of hearing from our very own Young Adults Pastor Kasey McGinnis. Be encouraged and built up as he speaks a powerful word about how important it is that we remember that the Sword of the Spirit is double edged. Our very own High School Youth Pastor Bobby Mainellis brings us an incredible word focused on the Helmet of Salvation which is a part of our "Take Your Stand" series. Bobby communicates and instills the confidence we can have knowing that when we put on our salvation helmet, there is purpose of everything we face and walk through all because we have salvation by the cross. Pastor Wayne Carector brings a word for our church titled "Blended Family". Living our lives in this world means that we are amongst other people who are not of the same background, ethnicity, preferences, opinions and perspectives. This is a beautiful thing that God has made a reality but too often we let what is made to be significant and for our benefit a negative thing. We see the world as we are broken and unfixable. Pastor Wayne points out that "Jesus is the bond that holds the blended family together." When we make the perspective our Jesus our perspective, we start to see that being in a blended with the people in our circle, we start to see the purpose we have in life. This week we had the honor and privilege to hear from our very own Senior Pastor Christina Gard. This Word that she brought is on time and for the people of The Church. WE NEED YOU. Pastor Christina brings into context the story of Ruth and Naomi in the book of Ruth and what it looks like to stick close to the people that may be pushing us away. Who are you sticking close to that says they don't need you to? Who in your life is in need that seems to not need anything on the surface but deep down is crying out for help? Let's be a discerning people of God that is present in our friendships and relationships so that we can be Jesus to them. This week Pastor Alex spoke a standalone message titled: Active Faith. One major point Pastor Alex makes is that "What we do in this room should be a full display of a true individual active faith". This happens when we follow, acknowledge, seek, know, obey, and abide in Him. When Jesus becomes our everything, we start to live out our active faith in a true and effective that changes our own life and the lives of the people around us. In this message, Pastor Andrew Gard, our Senior Pastor, talks about how we as people make up the body of Christ, but we can forget that we need all the other parts of the body when it comes to our walk of faith. Us as individuals by ourselves do not make up the Body of Christ, but us as a collective make up the body of Christ, therefore we must be in community with each other in order to really know how we are doing with our walk with Jesus. This week we were honored to hear from our very own Creative Pastor Kenzie Walker. This last Sunday we were able to have the opportunity to participate in one of the most fruitful Sundays of the year in our church, Heart For The House. This Sunday was such an incredible moment where we went above and beyond in our giving to accelerate the mission and vision of our church through financial generosity. Pastor spoke and incredible message centered around how important it is for us to be a people of God who sews into the kingdom in a sacrificial manner that brings forth open doors to give to our community and to the outside organizations that we partner with to make a massive difference in the world around us. This week we had the amazing opportunity to hear from Pastor Ben Graves, Youth Pastor of Daybreak Church in Carlsbad, California. Pastor Ben is a long time friend of our very own Lead Pastor Alex DiMare and have been in ministry together in the past. Pastor Ben has been used to reach the youth of our generation in a miraculous way, seeing hundreds upon hundreds experience life transformation with Jesus. This week, we hear from our discipleship Pastor, Wayne Carector as he preaches about the people God has put in your life so that they may share their wisdom, and experiences so that you don't have to go through what they went through. This message is preached out of Proverbs 4:10-22.

This is the last part of Pastor Alex's 8-week sermon series titled "Blessed Are Those" going through the Beatitudes. We have been so encouraged and strengthened through this series and we hope that you as a listener benefited from it in the same way. This specific message is all about the last beatitude which is "Blessed Are The Persecuted". This message points out more of a negative outlook on what it means to be a believer of Christ because when we say yes to Jesus, we are saying no to how the world would want you to live and because of that, we face opposition with the world. Pastor Alex points out that we get persecuted as Christians emotionally, spiritually, verbally, and physically. As we live our lives following Jesus, we can be sure that persecution is ahead, but God is always with us in the midst of it all and always wins the battle. Be encouraged as you listen.

This message is week 7 of the sermon series "Blessed Are Those" that Pastor Alex has been speaking to ur church in this season. We have been able to go through The Beatitudes and hear from God the parts of it that we can be reminded of and incorporate into our daily walk with Christ. A captivating point that Pastor Alex makes in this message is that "Peace isn't the absence of something in your life, true peace is actually only ever going to be found in God himself." We often start to think that we can create peace ourselves by avoiding conflict and minimizing the hardships of life but the true feeling of peace can only be real for us when we invite God into our situations and walk fully surrendered to Him. Let this message be an awakening for us to do so with boldness and courage and we will feel the peace of God every step of the way.

This week we had the pleasure of having one of our incredible staff members from Grace City Lakeland bring a powerful word. This message speaks to the power of prayer in our lives and that if we have a more prayerful life towards God, we would be able to stop living in less in our sinful nature and more in our righteous relationship with Christ. This message should encourage you and give you a push to live out Scriptures like Matthew 26:41 which says "Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation.m The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak." Pastor Alex uses this message to continue the series that he is in the middle of at Grace City Tampa called "Blessed Are Those" which focuses on The Beatitudes. This message focuses on the sixth beatitude. "Blessed are the pure in heart". This is a message that gives us such incredible insight on how the fruit of our lives is so important. When we are at an age of awareness, we have the opportunity to either bear good fruit, or bad fruit. Let this message encourage you to be faithful to the one who is always faithful towards us.
