What is the purpose of speaking in tongues? Why did the Apostle Paul place such importance on praying in the Spirit? In this message, we explore the biblical purpose of tongues, the power of Pentecost, and how praying in the Spirit builds us up, reveals God's mysteries, and helps us walk in His divine purpose. The disciples were transformed after Pentecost. Peter went from denying Jesus to boldly preaching the gospel with power. The same Holy Spirit that empowered the early church is available to believers today. God desires for us to move beyond lukewarm Christianity and into a deeper relationship with Him through the power of the Holy Spirit. Discover how praying in tongues strengthens your spirit, aligns you with God's will, reveals spiritual mysteries, and prepares you for the destiny God has ordained for your life. Scriptures Referenced: • Mark 16:7 • Acts 2:1-4 • 1 Corinthians 2:1-14 • 1 Corinthians 14:2 • 1 Corinthians 14:4 • 1 Corinthians 14:14 • 1 Corinthians 14:18-21 • Romans 8:26 • Isaiah 28:11-12
What happens when we stop seeking God? The story of King Uzziah shows how pride can slowly harden the heart and lead us away from the Lord. In contrast, Isaiah's encounter with God reveals the power of humility, repentance, and the refining fire of God's presence. In this message, we explore the difference between two responses to God. One heart resisted correction. The other surrendered in repentance and was transformed. The fire of God is not meant to destroy us. It is meant to purify us, prepare us, and propel us into our God given destiny. As believers, we must never become satisfied with where we are spiritually. God is still pouring out His Spirit today. The question is: how will we respond when He calls us deeper? Scriptures Referenced: • 2 Chronicles 26:3-5 • 2 Chronicles 26:16-21 • Isaiah 6:1-8 • Matthew 3:11 • Malachi 3:2-3 • Jeremiah 20:9 • Isaiah 53:3-5 • Matthew 7:7
How should we handle disputes in the church? How do we properly respond to people in the church who are arguing with one another over secondary issues? In his sermon, “Divide to Unify” centered on Titus 3:9-11, Pastor Alex shares how sometimes the church needs to divide over certain areas in order to unify around the gospel. Listen to this week's message to see why Biblical unity is not the absence of conflict, but shared submission to Christ.
There is a real spiritual battle taking place, and the church cannot afford to remain passive. Too many believers are living beneath the authority God has already given them through Jesus Christ. This message is about overcoming the flesh, recognizing the tactics of the enemy, and learning how to stand strong in the power of God. We are not called to fear darkness! We are called to walk in authority, clothed in the armor of God, filled with His presence, and empowered by His Spirit. The Christian life was never meant to be powerless or routine. God is calling His people to rise up, become spiritually alert, and affect the spiritual climate around them. Scriptures: • Ephesians 6:10–12 • Luke 10:19 • Matthew 28:18 • Mark 16:15–18 • 2 Corinthians 10:3–5 • Philippians 2:10 • Ephesians 1:19 • Ephesians 2:1–2
A calling has been thrown on every one of us - the question isn't whether God has called us, but what we're going to do with what He's already placed on our life. In this message, Pastor Alex preaches from the story of Elijah and Elisha to confront the three places we tend to stop short: never owning the call, refusing to endure the hidden middle, and settling at the threshold instead of crossing into what God has for us - and the people He wants to reach through us.
Consecrated Week 6 | Pastor Alex Santiago | Wednesday, May 20, 2026
A calling has been thrown on every one of us - the question isn't whether God has called us, but what we're going to do with what He's already placed on our life. In this message, Pastor Alex preaches from the story of Elijah and Elisha to confront the three places we tend to stop short: never owning the call, refusing to endure the hidden middle, and settling at the threshold instead of crossing into what God has for us - and the people He wants to reach through us.
In this final message of the Love Thy Neighbor series, Pastor Alex reflects on the power of story and the invitation to share what God has done in our lives. As we sit with the healing story in Mark 5, we're reminded that our stories don't need to be polished or complete to point people toward Jesus.

You can have success, money, influence, and still feel empty inside. What does it really profit you if you gain everything… but lose your soul? God isn't just interested in restoring things in your life. He wants to restore you. Your soul. Your heart. Your relationship with Him. Before you chase more, check what it's costing you. This message will challenge you to realign your priorities, put God first, and experience true restoration from the inside out. Scriptures in this message: Matthew 16:26 3 John 1:2 Psalm 23:1-3 Matthew 6:33 Luke 10:38-42 Luke 12:15-21 Matthew 4:8-10 Psalm 42:5 Psalm 38:8
When Jesus walked up to a group of ordinary fishermen and said, "Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men," He wasn't inviting them to add Him to their lives — He was offering to remake their lives entirely. In this message, Pastor Alex traces what it means to actually follow Christ today: to stop editing the Jesus of Scripture, to let Him do the making, and to discover that we've all been captured by something — the only question is by whom.
What does God ask of us as believers? How should we act as members of the church? In this week's message we get a snapshot or a small window into what it looks like to be a member of God's family. In his sermon, “Rules for Living in God's House,” centered on Titus 2:1-10, Pastor Alex unpacks Paul's specific instructions to the church and shows us the effects these rules have not only on believers, but on the unbelieving world around us as we seek to understand who God is and what his word demands of us as members of God's household.
In this episode of The Way We See It, Pastor Alex Bryant breaks down the latest assassination attempt involving President Trump, now believed to be the third. Alex briefly walks through what happened at the White House Correspondents' Dinner, but more importantly focuses on what it means. Beyond the headlines and political sides, this moment reveals something deeper about where we are as a culture. The rhetoric is out of control, the humanity is fading, and the stakes are getting dangerously high. Pastor Alex challenges Christians to rise above the noise, to think clearly, respond biblically, and lead the way in restoring dignity, respect, and truth in a divided world. This is not just about politics. It is about people. #TWWSI, #BreakingNews, #Trump, #AssassinationAttempt, #PoliticalViolence, #CultureShift, #ThinkBiblically, #FaithAndCulture, #ChooseHumanity, #RestoreRespect, #SpeakTruth, #UnityMatters, #Leadership, #PastorAlexBryant, #TheWayWeSeeIt, #PrayForAmerica, #EndTheHate, #StayInformed, #CulturalReset

How do elders protect the church from false doctrine? Tune into this week's message to find out!
How should a church function? Should it be run like a business or more like a community co-op? What is an Elder and why is the role important in church leadership? In his exposition of Titus 1:5-9, Pastor Alex shows us how Christ has established order for the church through the appointment of biblically qualified elders who help lead and shepherd the flock. Tune into this week's message and find out why elders serve as a necessary and precious gift to Christ's church.

In this week's message, we begin a new series on neighboring as we sit with the Parable of the Good Samaritan in Luke 10. Pastor Alex invites us to rethink what it means to share our faith, starting not with pressure or performance but with genuine care for the people around us. As Jesus reshapes our understanding of who our neighbor is, we're encouraged to take a simple first step and begin praying for those right in front of us.
Do I really need to get baptized? Is it really that important? What if I was sprinkled as a child? Pastor Alex showed us the importance of water baptism. Baptism means to be submerged and there is so much significance in the submersion. We see through the book of Acts a pattern of the early church. When the Gospel went out and those who heard placed their faith in Jesus, they were immediately baptized. It wasn't optional. There is power in going under. There is significance in going under. We are publicly declaring our faith in Christ, are baptized into his death, and arise a new creation. If you have placed your faith in Christ, why are you waiting? Leave it all in the water! Scriptures: Hebrews 6:1–2 Romans 6:3–4 Romans 10:9–10 Matthew 28:19–20 Mark 16:15–16 Acts 2:38 Mark 16:16 Mark 10:13–16 Acts 2:37–38 Acts 8:12 Acts 8:26–38 Acts 9:17–18 Acts 10:44–48 Acts 16:13–15 Acts 16:25–34 Acts 18:7–8 Acts 22:12–16

Pastor Alex reminded us of a foundational principle in the Christian life that isn't as prevalent today. Paul describes the laying on of hands as an elementary principle of our faith, yet many believers don't know about it or see it practiced in our churches. And yet, it's something God has established from the beginning. We see the laying on of hands throughout both the Old Testament and the New. When it is practiced, we see power, impartation, and God directly calling and appointing leaders, no matter how small the role may seem. May we be zealous to be used by the Lord, to receive spiritual gifts, and to walk fully in the call of God!
In this episode of The Way We See It, Pastor Alex Bryant breaks down a powerful conversation between Stephen A. Smith and Anton Daniels on politics and Black culture. Using clips from their full conversation, Alex weighs in on some of the toughest questions facing the Black community today. Why does it often feel like you can only be a Democrat? Why are Black Republicans so often attacked? And what role does the victim mindset play in holding people back? Anton Daniels makes the bold claim that 98% of the struggles in the Black community are self-inflicted wounds, and Stephen A. Smith pushes the conversation into deeper waters. Pastor Alex adds his own perspective on personal responsibility, political identity, and what it takes to move forward with truth and accountability. Listen in as Pastor Alex gives his sermon for Easter Sunday!
Celebrate the power and meaning of the resurrection of Jesus Christ; proof that He is the Son of God and that everything He said is true (Romans 1:2–4). Because He rose, you can have victory over sin, death, and the enemy, and you are no longer bound but empowered to live out your God-given purpose through the same power that raised Him from the dead (Romans 6:4–6; Ephesians 1:17–20). This message is a reminder that the resurrection is the foundation of your faith, giving you purpose for today and unshakable hope for eternity (John 11:25–26).
There's a reason we call Good Friday “good.” The blood of Jesus wasn't shed just to cover our sins, but to completely take them away. Not hidden or managed. Totally removed! Paid in full! Never let the weight of the cross become something common to you, because it cost God everything. And thank You God, that's not the end of the story. What looked like death is about to reveal life. Resurrection Sunday is coming!
In this message from our Fundamentals series, we reflect on the truth that we were made for eternity. This sermon walks through the reality of Heaven and Hell, what it means to truly know God, and how living for His will changes the way we live today. More than just a message about eternity, this is an invitation to surrender, draw near to Jesus, and remember that the door to relationship with God is open through Him. Be encouraged as you listen, and share this message with someone who may need it this week.

Prayer is not meant to be powerless, it's meant to be effective. When we truly walk with God, pray in faith, and align with His Word and His will, our prayers carry authority. We're called to live like Jesus did, walking in power, making an impact, and advancing His Kingdom. It starts with knowing Him as Father, approaching Him with reverence, and surrendering our will for His. When our hearts, faith, and prayers line up with Him, we will begin to see mountains move. Scriptures: James 5:16 Luke 10:19 Luke 10:17 John 14:12–14 Mark 11:22–24 John 15:7 1 John 5:14–15 Matthew 6:9–13 Matthew 6:33 Ephesians 3:14–16 Hebrews 5:7 James 4:6 James 4:3 Romans 14:17 Isaiah 48:22 Luke 17:21 1 Corinthians 4:20 Luke 22:42
In John 17, we're invited into Jesus' prayer just before the cross, where He lifts His eyes not only for His first followers but for all who would come after, including us. In this message, Pastor Alex reflects on Jesus' desire for unity and what it means to live as a people shaped by love and grace in the middle of the world around us. As we consider the tension of holding onto truth while extending grace, we're invited to pursue a kind of unity that reflects the heart of Jesus and points others toward Him.
Drawing from 1 Corinthians 4:6-13, Pastor Alex breaks down Paul's passionate plea to a divided, prideful church and lays out what he calls "the blueprint" for Christian living.
Drawing from 1 Corinthians 4:6-13, Pastor Alex breaks down Paul's passionate plea to a divided, prideful church and lays out what he calls "the blueprint" for Christian living.
Pastor Alex taught us how to judge God's way. As the rise of accusations occur, how and when do we judge? We don't judge the world. We are called to walk rightly within the body of Christ, carefully, humbly, and in order. God has established authority in the home and the church, and we are only called to judge where we are accountable. Judgement in the Church is meant to lead to repentance and life. Step outside of that, and it leads to confusion. Stay within it, and it brings life. Scriptures: James 4:11-12 Matthew 7:1-5 1 Corinthians 5:9-13 1 Peter 1:17 John 5:22-23 Matthew 25:31-32 John 12:48 1 Timothy 3:4-5 Acts 14:20-23 Matthew 18:15-20 1 Timothy 5:19-21 Deuteronomy 5:20 Deuteronomy 19:15-20 1 Corinthians 11:28-31 Philippians 1:9-10 Romans 12:3-4 James 2:13
People around us are watching—how we react in seasons of plenty and in seasons of want. Do we obey God in every circumstance? He is glorified when we obey His Word. We are told to rejoice in the Lord always, to pray without ceasing, and to love one another. When we are obedient to God, He gives us everything we need. Let's obey our Father and rejoice in the gifts of each new day.
In this episode of The Way We See It, Pastor Alex Bryant takes a sobering look at what real authoritarianism actually looks like. When members of the Iranian women's national soccer team refused to sing their national anthem during the Women's Asian Cup, it was not a loud protest. It was silence. But that silence carried enormous risk. These athletes knew that speaking out against the regime could cost them their careers, their freedom, and possibly their lives. As several players sought asylum in Australia, the Iranian government reportedly began pressuring their families back home, threatening relatives and detaining loved ones. One by one, many of the players chose to return to Iran anyway, not because they trusted the regime, but because their families were now in danger. Pastor Alex uses this story to challenge the way Americans casually throw around words like tyranny and fascism. In many parts of the world, dissent is not debated. It is punished. This episode is a powerful reminder that freedom is messy, but it is also precious, and there are people across the globe risking everything just to experience a fraction of it. #TWWSI, #FreedomMatters, #IranProtests, #Authoritarianism, #ValueFreedom, #SpeakTruth, #GlobalPerspective, #PastorAlexBryant, #RealTalkFaith, #TheWayWeSeeIt Alex Bryant Ministries is focused on helping people be reconciled to God, then within one's own self, and finally being reconciled to our fellow man in order to become disciples. In John 16, Jesus prepares His disciples for what lies ahead and reminds them that life with Him was never meant to be lived on our own strength. In this message, Pastor Alex reflects on what it looks like to live a life that truly depends on God's presence. As we consider the areas of our lives that feel overwhelming or beyond our capacity, we're invited to see those moments not as failures but as openings for deeper trust. This sermon explores how prayer, rest, and honest reliance on God can reshape the way we carry our responsibilities and relationships each day.
