We know from Romans 3:23 that “all have sinned and fallen short of God‘s glory.“ in this message Pastor Andrew talks about what happens when that sin is against us. Matthew 18:21-22 21 Then Peter came to Him and said, “Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Up to seven times?” 22 Jesus said to him, “I do not say to you, up to seven times, but up to seventy times seven.
In this powerful conclusion to the two-part series "Like Father, Like Son," Pastor Andrew explores the reciprocal relationship between the Father and the Son, specifically challenging men to rise as "Kingdom Men" who lead their families and communities with an eternal perspective. Centered on the baptism of Jesus in Matthew 3:17, the message reveals that divine approval is inherited rather than initiated, meaning our identity is firmly found in whose we are, not in what we can achieve. Through the narrative of David's anointing in 1 Samuel 16:11-13, listeners are encouraged to stay consistent in their current assignments, allowing their anointing to mature into the character required for their future destiny. By looking at the mission mandate in Luke 4:18, Pastor Andrew illustrates how a clear spiritual assignment unlocks one's purpose to "hold the line" and pour into the next generation. Ultimately, this sermon serves as a call to level up in responsibility, reminding us that while sons eventually become fathers, a true Kingdom Man must remain forever a son of the Most High God, resting in his "beloved" identity.

In this message from Nehemiah, Pastor Andrew reminds us that drift happens when we stop paying attention to the condition of our hearts. Nehemiah 13 shows that rebuilding walls was easier than rebuilding people, and the same is true in our lives. Through humor, honesty, and Scripture, this message calls us to recognize sin, refocus on God's house, reset our finances, restore rest, reprioritize marriage, and rely fully on grace. Realignment does not come from trying harder, but from returning to Jesus, the center of grace, forgiveness, and lasting transformation.
Encounters with Jesus: Part 2 - Dear Weary Soul - Pastor Andrew DamazioThis week, Pastor Andrew walked through Jesus' encounter with the man at the Pool of Bethesda in John 5:1–15, reminding us that Jesus meets us in our weariness, disappointment, and longing for change. Through this powerful story, we see that God's greatest work in our lives is not simply changing our circumstances, but drawing us into deeper faith and trust in Him.Want to connect more with Rose Church? In this pre-Father's Day message, Pastor Andrew explores the profound spiritual reality of "Like Father, Like Son," illustrating that just as natural sons eventually become fathers, Jesus—the perfect Son—serves as the ultimate revelation of our Heavenly Father. Grounded in John 1:16-18, the sermon encourages listeners to go "backwards to go forwards" to discover that the Son uniquely knows the Father, reveals His nature, and brings us into His presence. Pastor Andrew highlights that while our view of God is often colored by our natural experiences, we must look to the face of Jesus, who arrived in both grace and truth to restore us to a family relationship with God (John 14:9, 2 Corinthians 4:6). Through a relatable personal story about the birth of his own son and the assurance that Jesus is currently interceding for us at the Father's right hand, this message declares that from His fullness we have all received the ability to walk in a new way. Ultimately, believers are reminded that because God has sent the spirit of His Son into our hearts, we can confidently call Him "Abba Father" and live in a constant, life-giving connection with Him (Galatians 4:6).

In this passage we see Paul again laying out the foundation of justification by faith. Pastor Andrew talks about 3 things justification by faith gives us: identity, assurance and hope.
This week, Pastor Andrew reminds us that we should also be looking inward and examining ourselves. 2 Corinthians 13:5 5 Examine yourselves as to whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Do you not know yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you are disqualified.

What if the most significant contribution you make to ministry this week never requires you to set foot where the ministry happens? Drawing from Paul's closing charge in Colossians 4, Andrew Calabrese confronts the church's tendency to measure ministry by what is visible while overlooking the invisible work that makes it all possible. Using Paul's three-part call to pray persistently, expectantly, and specifically, Pastor Andrew illuminates prayer not as preparation for the greater work, but as the greater work itself. Every believer, regardless of their role, is challenged to still their heart and pray — because behind every visible work of God is an invisible one.Eastland is a Place to BelongEastland Baptist Church is located in Tulsa, Oklahoma. In this message from 1 Peter 5:8-9, we continue our study of Peter's warning about the reality of spiritual warfare and the believer's response to the devil. Writing to Christians facing persecution, Peter gives four practical commands: stay alert, resist the devil, stand firm in the faith, and remember that you are not alone. We see that Christians are not called to fear the devil, obsess over him, or look for him behind every difficulty. Instead, we are called to be spiritually watchful, grounded in God's truth, and steadfast in our faith. Peter points us to the same lesson Jesus taught His disciples in Gethsemane: watch and pray because temptation is real and the flesh is weak. This sermon also explores how believers resist the enemy through submission to God, worship, prayer, Christian fellowship, and confidence in the truth of God's Word. Just as Jesus answered Satan's temptations with "It is written," Christians overcome by standing firmly on the promises and truth of Scripture. Finally, Peter reminds us that we do not fight alone. Believers around the world share in the same struggles, and God has given His church as a source of encouragement, strength, and perseverance. Through Christ, we can stand firm together and remain faithful until the end. ________________________________________ Links to Sermon Notes & Answers: ➤Sermon Notes (Blank): https://www.sheridanhills.org/_files/ugd/30fec2_dedc79e2ee38412d8ae196514cc80b27.pdf ➤Sermon Notes (Answers): https://www.sheridanhills.org/_files/ugd/30fec2_c5a43c4964c7424a9ed14339d2d2afc7.pdf ________________________________________ Subscribe to this channel to catch weekly expositional sermons from the Bible. ________________________________________ Explore more sermons and information: https://www.sheridanhills.org/watch-new ________________________________________ Follow us: ➤Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sheridanhills/ ➤Twitter: https://twitter.com/sheridanhills01 ➤Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sheridanhills/

God's Promises Still StandSeries: Becoming the Church Speaker: Pastor AndrewSunday MorningDate: 31st May 2026Passage: Acts 3:17-26-------------------Acts 3:17-26
As Paul begins to wind down his letter, he basically leaves the argument behind and turns his attention to life in Christ and how it should be lived. By doing so, all these other issues will take care of themselves. Today, Pastor Andrew brings together these simple principles of living in the ways of Christ and what they look like for us in the world today. 1 Cor 11:2-16 What is God's design for men and women in the church. And do women still need to wear head coverings, or were they just for a certain time and culture? We consider those questions as Pastor Andrew continues his study in 1 Cor.
In 1 Peter 5:8–9, Peter closes his letter with a serious warning for suffering Christians: be sober-minded and watchful because the devil is real. Writing to believers facing persecution across the Roman world, Peter reminds them that they are not only enduring earthly opposition but are living in the middle of a spiritual battle. Scripture consistently reveals Satan as a deceiver, accuser, tempter, and enemy who opposes God's truth, attacks God's people, and seeks to destroy faith. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible shows the reality of this adversary and his ongoing war against the people of God. At the same time, this passage points believers to hope and confidence in Christ. Christians are called to resist the devil by standing firm in the faith, remembering they are not alone in their suffering. The enemy may prowl like a roaring lion, but he does not have the ultimate say. Jesus Christ is the sovereign, victorious Savior who came to destroy the works of the devil through His death and resurrection. Our refuge, deliverer, and eternal victory are found in Christ alone, the Lamb of God who rescues His people and secures their future forever. ________________________________________ Links to Sermon Notes & Answers: ➤Sermon Notes (Blank): https://www.sheridanhills.org/_files/ugd/30fec2_0e442a7b762846a48a034a4f59d58185.pdf ➤Sermon Notes (Answers): https://www.sheridanhills.org/_files/ugd/30fec2_0d696b9c9c5f43b1be0567aa8103841c.pdf ________________________________________ In this video: Review of previous sermons in series Main Points Application ________________________________________ Subscribe to this channel to catch weekly expositional sermons from the Bible. ________________________________________ Explore more sermons and information: https://www.sheridanhills.org/watch-new ________________________________________ Follow us: ➤Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sheridanhills/ ➤Twitter: https://twitter.com/sheridanhills01 ➤Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sheridanhills/
Pastor Andrew gives a teaching on what it means to biblically plant a church.
What has God been asking you to do that you've been delaying or avoiding? In this powerful message, Pastor Andrew reveals the blessing of obedience and why delayed obedience creates unnecessary tension in our lives.Through the story of Ananias in Acts 9, discover how one ordinary man's obedience to God's voice helped launch the Apostle Paul's ministry — and how your obedience can release breakthrough, purpose, and ripple effects for generations.
Have you ever asked God for a sign?Pastor Andrew shared an incredible testimony of how God orchestrated an impossible series of events—including a divine prompting to call someone he barely knew at 8:00 pm on a Saturday night—to confirm His will. What seemed like a closed door became a powerful testimony of the Holy Spirit's direct intervention. This Pentecost, lay aside the junk of the world that fills your life. Make room for God to fill you with His Spirit. Trust that He will show you the path He has for you—and watch Him move in ways you never imagined possible.

1 Cor 10:23-11:1 What does it mean to do all to the glory of God? How does it show up in our lives? Is it only something that God observes or can others see it as well? And what does that have to do with eating meat!? We consider those questions as Pastor Andrew continues a study in 1 Cor.
Paul's teaching in 1 Corinthians 12 cuts against the mindset of isolation and consumer Christianity. God did not save believers to function independently. He formed the church as one body with many members, each placed intentionally and gifted for the good of the whole. Pastor Andrew Coleman walks through how the Father arranges the body, how the Spirit empowers it, and how Christ unites it. Unity in the church does not come from personality, preference, or similarity. It comes from belonging to Christ together. The passage also presses into practical Christian living. Scripture calls believers to care for one another in tangible ways: bearing burdens, showing honor, serving faithfully, grieving together, and rejoicing together. A healthy church cannot survive on attendance alone. Biblical fellowship requires sacrifice, humility, and active love for other believers. This passage challenges Christians to examine whether they are strengthening the body or remaining disconnected from the work God designed the church to accomplish. ________________________________________ Links to Sermon Notes & Answers: ➤Sermon Notes (Blank): https://www.sheridanhills.org/_files/ugd/30fec2_09d7256eb8044adcbaf58e6afbfa5af7.pdf ➤Sermon Notes (Answers): https://www.sheridanhills.org/_files/ugd/30fec2_a75032ec72ae421ea604ec1a81611760.pdf ________________________________________ Subscribe to this channel to catch weekly expositional sermons from the Bible. ________________________________________ Explore more sermons and information: https://www.sheridanhills.org/watch-new ________________________________________ Follow us: ➤Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sheridanhills/ ➤Twitter: https://twitter.com/sheridanhills01 ➤Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sheridanhills/
