In this message, Pastor Andrew begins a vital new series that will carry us all the way to Christmas: Growing in Knowing. This first message — “The God You Know” — lays the foundation for what may be one of the most important studies our church has walked through. In Colossians 1:9–10, Paul prays that believers would be “filled with the knowledge of His will… increasing in the knowledge of God.” That prayer reveals a stunning truth: it is possible to believe in God, attend church, and even serve — and still not truly know Him. In this message, Pastor Andrew confronts one of the greatest crises of the modern church:

The Living Word of God (2025-11-16) Live Sunday Morning Service with Pastor Andrew Hutchinson
This week Pastor Andrew reminds us that we should always be ready for whatever comes our way! Acts 21:13 Then Paul answered, “What do you mean by weeping and breaking my heart? For I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die at Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”
In his message on Genesis 27, Pastor Andrew highlights how God accomplishes His plan despite the deceptive schemes of man. He illustrates how Isaac, Rebekah, and Jacob's deceitful actions to gain what they desired ultimately ruined relationships within the family, leading to hatred and discord. Despite these human failings and unrighteousness, God's sovereign will, as prophesied in Genesis 25:23, for the older to serve the younger, was still fulfilled through Jacob. Pastor Andrew emphasizes that while deception never truly succeeds and always finds you out, God's perfect plan continues, offering comfort to the anxious, sinful, and righteous. The message concludes with a call to repent from deceit and embrace a life of selflessness and truth found through Christ.
1 Cor 3:1-4 We all know what it looks like for a baby to grow, learn to eat, learn to walk, and just develop in general. But what does it look like for a Christian to grow? And what could hinder that growth? Pastor Andrew answers those questions as he continues his study in 1 Corinthians.

Dive into the breathtaking covenant heart of biblical marriage. Pastor Andrew Coleman describes Genesis 2:24's call to leave, cleave, and become one flesh; this mirrors God's unbreakable vow to Israel (Hosea 2:19–20; Jeremiah 31:31–34) and finds its ultimate fulfillment in Christ the Bridegroom (Ephesians 5:31–32; Revelation 19:6–9). Trace pre-Fall truths, Old Testament symbols like the bride price and ketubah, and see marriage as sacred covenant, not contract. Witness divine faithfulness triumph over human failure; the church is forever united to the Lamb, hearts transformed and promises sealed by Christ's blood (Luke 22:20). Watch now and let this divine blueprint ignite your understanding of redemption and eternal oneness. ________________________________________ Links to Sermon Notes & Answers: ➤Sermon Notes (Blank): https://www.sheridanhills.org/_files/ugd/30fec2_ae28df739a204b7ea33782be5dd88efc.pdf ➤Sermon Notes (Answers): https://www.sheridanhills.org/_files/ugd/30fec2_6a65d7d5d3dc4bea8f88ba01c2342a4f.pdf ________________________________________ Subscribe to this channel to catch weekly expositional sermons from the Bible. ________________________________________ Explore more sermons and information: https://www.sheridanhills.org/watch-new ________________________________________ Follow us: ➤Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sheridanhills/ ➤Twitter: https://twitter.com/sheridanhills01 ➤Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sheridanhills/
“So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.” — Ezekiel 22:30 (NKJV) In this powerful message, “Standing in the Gap,” Pastor Andrew dives into God's heartbreaking search for an intercessor — someone willing to step into the breach and contend for a people, a generation, and a nation. From the Hebrew word perets (breach, break, gap), we learn that a “gap” in Scripture represents vulnerability and spiritual exposure. Where there is a breach, the enemy finds access. But God's heart is always restoration — to repair the breach, rebuild the ruins, and restore what has fallen (Isaiah 58:12; Amos 9:11). In this message we explore:

“Keep an eye out for…” was an old adage to be aware. Pastor Andrew and Jesus reminds us that we always need to stay vigilant and be aware. Mark 13:37 And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”
In tonight's message, Pastor Andrew explores Genesis 25:19-34, highlighting the themes of God's involvement in our lives and our vulnerability during times of weakness. He recounts the story of Isaac and Rebekah, who faced 20 years of barrenness before their twin sons, Esau and Jacob, were born. The passage illustrates how God hears our prayers and acts in His timing. Esau's poor judgment in selling his birthright for a meal serves as a reminder of how weakness can lead to unwise decisions. Pastor Andrew encourages us to stay spiritually sharp through prayer, community, and Scripture, especially in moments of vulnerability.

In today's message, discover what it means to live as "children of light" as we continue our study in Ephesians. Pastor Andrew reveals three key traits of those who are filled with the light of God as reflected in Ephesians 5:8 - goodness, righteousness, and truth. Learn practical steps for living with integrity, showing genuine concern for others, and aligning your life with God's truth. And rest in the truth that we do not become children of the light by trying harder to do what's right. We become children of light by falling deeper in love with the God who already delights in us.

In 1 Peter 3, Peter continues his theme of holy living, showing that submission and honor within marriage are not signs of weakness but rather are reflections of Christ's strength and love. Marriage is not man's idea — it's God's grand design from the very beginning. Throughout Scripture, we see many references to this beautiful design for marriage. In Genesis 2, God Himself created woman, brought her to the man, and spoke the covenant of marriage into existence: “The two shall become one flesh.” He performed the first marriage, joining husband and wife together for His glory and their good. Ultimately, marriage is patterned after Christ's covenant commitment to the Church, and through this physical picture of the relationship between Christ and the church, shows us His love and glory. Marriage is from God, by God, and for God. It reflects His covenant love — the same love Christ has for His Bride, the Church (Ephesians 5:31–32). When we understand that God is the one who joins a man and woman together, we value and protect marriage with deeper reverence and joy. ________________________________________ Links to Sermon Notes & Answers: ➤Sermon Notes (Blank): https://www.sheridanhills.org/_files/ugd/30fec2_a1561399e6274dc994f7f9f24f0dd798.pdf ➤Sermon Notes (Answers): https://www.sheridanhills.org/_files/ugd/30fec2_2fa8c1aac56843b593658b3e0820dd0a.pdf ________________________________________ Subscribe to this channel to catch weekly expositional sermons from the Bible. ________________________________________ Explore more sermons and information: https://www.sheridanhills.org/watch-new ________________________________________ Follow us: ➤Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sheridanhills/ ➤Twitter: https://twitter.com/sheridanhills01 ➤Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sheridanhills/

In a world that constantly pushes us toward getting more, Jesus invites us into a radically different way of living—one marked by trust, gratitude, and open-handed generosity. Pastor Andrew's message explores how tithing functions as baseline stewardship, the foundational practice that trains our hearts to recognize God as our source and to release what we've been given.
In this powerful message, "When Jesus Comes to Your House", Pastor Andrew examines the familiar story of Zacchaeus, the chief tax collector, found in Luke 19:1-10. Although Zacchaeus was known as a wealthy traitor who cheated others, the sermon reveals that his original name means "pure," "righteous," or "innocent", emphasizing that the narrative is fundamentally about a son being restored, not a sinner corrected. When Zacchaeus climbed a sycamore tree to see Jesus, Jesus commanded him to "make haste" (hurry or escape his current life) because, "today I must stay at your house", demonstrating that Jesus looks at our being, not our behavior. This invitation, which also reminds believers they are called to be in the world but not of the world (Mark 16:15), led Zacchaeus to joyfully receive Jesus and restore four-fold what he had taken. The ultimate purpose is revealed in Luke 19:10: "For the son of man has come to seek and to save that which was lost", transforming us into a "dwelling place of God in the spirit" (Ephesians 2:19-22).

1 Corinthians 2:9 “But as it is written: ‘Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.'” This message dives deep into one of the most powerful promises in Scripture — the truth that God has prepared things for His people that our natural eyes, ears, and minds can't even begin to comprehend. In this sermon, Pastor Andrew Eldridge explores the dual revelation of this verse — the glory that awaits us in eternity, and the power and purpose God is revealing right now. Through Scripture, revelation, and encouragement, you'll be reminded that: ✨ God is still acting, still moving, still preparing, and still revealing. ✨ True knowledge of God doesn't come through intellect alone — it comes by revelation of the Spirit. ✨ Heaven isn't the only place where blessing begins — the same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead is working in you today! ✨ The best is yet to come — in your life, your home, and in the Church! If you've been discouraged, weary, or wondering what's next, this message will renew your hope and stir your faith to believe that eye has not seen what God has in store for those who love Him.
Pastor Andrew's message from Genesis 24 emphasizes that everything in life is dependent on God's control and sovereignty. He reflects on Abraham's journey, highlighting how God orchestrates events, such as finding a wife for Isaac, to fulfill His promises. The key takeaway is that God listens to His people, orchestrates their paths, and blesses them by executing His divine plan. Andrew encourages the audience to trust God with their lives, recognizing that He cares for even the smallest details and is always in control.
Joshua said “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord “ (Josh 24:15). This week Pastor Andrew reminded us how important it is to take a stance to follow God! 1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came to all the people, and said, “How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him.” But the people answered him not a word.
In this episode of The Postscript, Pastor Andrew and Pastor Brandon explore 2 Peter 1:1-11, unpacking Peter's powerful introduction and his call to spiritual growth. Together, they discuss the believer's identity in Christ, the gift of faith, and the call to pursue virtue, knowledge, and godliness. The conversation highlights the importance of grace-driven effort, assurance in God's promises, and what it means to truly know God in everyday life. Join them as they reflect on how faith shapes character and how God's grace enables us to grow, persevere, and live effectively for Him.

This week, Pastor Andrew introduces a powerful new series centered on Honour, the fundamental principle that creates the atmosphere of heaven on earth. The move of God is restricted not by a lack of grace, but by dishonour—treating the Lord and one another as ordinary or menial. Paul's New Testament letters confirm that grace is incomplete without its outworking in unity and respect (Romans 12). Discover what the Hebrew and Greek words for Honour (Kabod / Timē) truly mean, and how living this principle—by giving weight, value, and respect to God and to fellow believers—is essential for the supernatural power of Jesus to move freely in your life and in the church.
1 Cor 2:1-5 We care how we present ourselves, don't we? We don't like to appear unattractive. We don't want to be unpopular. We want to present ourselves in strength. Yet, Paul the apostle tells us that he came in weakness and foolishness. What did he mean? And what are we supposed to learn from his example? We consider that as Pastor Andrew continues his study in 1 Corinthians.

In his message on Genesis 22, Pastor Andrew explores the profound story of Abraham's test of obedience, where God commands him to sacrifice his only son, Isaac. Andrew emphasizes that God tests the faith of His people to reveal their true commitment and trust in Him. He challenges listeners to consider the depths of their own allegiance to God and highlights that true obedience may come at a cost. The message underscores the idea that God will provide and bless those who choose to obey, drawing parallels between Abraham's willingness to sacrifice and God's own sacrifice of His Son, Jesus Christ, out of love for humanity.

In this episode of The Postscript, Pastor Andrew and Pastor Ian dive into 1 Peter 5:1-14, exploring Peter's closing exhortations to church elders and the congregation. Together, they discuss the biblical model of pastoral leadership, marked by humility, service, and a Christlike posture, contrasting it with the dangers of domineering leadership and self-serving motives. The conversation unpacks what it means to shepherd God's flock, the importance of mutual respect between generations in the church, and the call for all believers to clothe themselves with humility.
Igniting Contagious Faith!Sermon Notes: https://links.kchanford.com/sunday
In this passage, Peter calls believers to live holy lives, even under unjust authority. Submission is not weakness—it is strength rooted in trust that God rules over every human institution. We submit for the Lord's sake, representing Him to a watching world. By doing good, we silence critics and reflect the goodness of Christ, and as those set free from sin, we use our freedom not for rebellion or selfishness, but to serve God and love others. Peter closes with four commands that shape every believer's conduct: Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor. Even when authority is flawed—like Nero's brutal rule—Christians reveal God's sovereignty through humble obedience and steadfast faith. True freedom is living as servants of God who bring glory to Him in every sphere of life. ________________________________________ Links to Sermon Notes & Answers: ➤Sermon Notes (Blank): https://www.sheridanhills.org/_files/ugd/30fec2_7c28f03426c74531bece0b429c5f1a39.pdf ➤Sermon Notes (Answers): https://www.sheridanhills.org/_files/ugd/30fec2_5ac7f9bebd7a4b4c9c0e8e03a4023ea6.pdf ________________________________________ Subscribe to this channel to catch weekly expositional sermons from the Bible. ________________________________________ Explore more sermons and information: https://www.sheridanhills.org/watch-new ________________________________________ Follow us: ➤Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/sheridanhills/ ➤Twitter: https://twitter.com/sheridanhills01 ➤Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/sheridanhills/

Every relationship in our lives—whether friendship, family, dating, or marriage—was never meant to exist without purpose. When we understand why God places certain people in our lives, we begin to approach those relationships with greater clarity, deeper grace, and healthier expectations. In his message “Relational Purpose,” Pastor Andrew unpacks how understanding the purpose behind our connections helps us navigate them with wisdom, align them with God's mission, and experience relationships that build rather than drain us.
