Oho, look what the ghosts dragged in! Pardon our little hiatus the last while - we were busy changing a few kegs and polishing off the bar ahead of pubs reopening proper! In this very special episode we are pleased to be in the company of Mr Jimmy Kavanagh and Robbie Doyle Esq. as we navigate all that Smithfield has to offer! We set records on the Dance-Dance Revolution machine in Token, followed by a few tasty pints and blues in Frank Ryan's just around the corner. So, what's the real story behind Tetris? Should you interrupt a couple on their supposed first date? And what do you do when you're on a night out in New York with only your Age Card handy for ID? This week we dive into one of the dive-iest spots in Dublin, nestled conspicuously between a wider-than-longer bridge and a wax museum, Pillar Bar. What wonders behold us? The Costa del Smithfield! If Narnia had a bar, this would be it. Located just off the dirty Streets of Dublin City Centre, The Hacienda is one of Dublin's best kept, yet best known secrets. A Spanish villa in the middle of D7, who would have thunk it? This week, we take the dive into the deep end and enjoy a few pints of Guinn with the illustrious Grace Morgan, where we unravel what makes this spot so popular, chat broken bones, why not to do sports, and whether it's weird to sleep on one, two, or no pillows.

And On The Third Day... It's finally our double digits and we got our thinking caps on - if we had the chance to visit a pub that is no longer with us, where would we go? It didn't take us long to settle on wanting to spend one last night in a fan favourite of ours, The Long Stone. Deciding to take a break from pints, this week we stumbled into Fade Street Social with Jen Aust for a cheeky cocktail with, famed for its rooftop smoking area, 2-for-1 Tuesdays, and terrifying staircase up to it. Grab your nearest shaker tin and some ice as we shake up a few fun tales about the Edinburgh Fringe, missing your friends, and how to best deal with meeting your old school-teachers on a night out!

Tip for life: don't work at the Disney store. This week we've found ourselves in the heart of Phibsborough at one of the most sublime spots Dublin has to offer - The Back Page. One of Rían Hamill's favourite pubs to soak up some G&Ts, water polo, and sweet pizza, dive into The Back Page with us and get out of the rain for a quick pint. Let's All Go To The Music Hall! After a few technical difficulties last week learning how to use the Magic Door properly, we're back! While we were very excited to go, we DID remember that we still have the last Dublin City Brewing Co. can left to try out, so we thought to ourselves to pull a scaldy one and try it...in a...pub.
