On My Mission

We sat down with PB Tropp to discuss his importance to music. He has had his fair share of features with some of the biggest in the game and he's becoming the artist that he is setting out to be. Residing in Cleveland and touching all parts of the map—PB Tropp is on his mission. He touches on how important it is to be in sync with the fans. Before PB Tropp dropped his new EP “Tracy Son” in early 2021, he released his “Tracy Son” video and shook the town up. Everybody in the city knows that Tropp cares about keeping his music genuine—his music has a touch of heart because he's giving his music to the people. PB Tropp officially dedicated his EP “Tracy Son” to his mother, and we discussed how important Tropp's mother is to him. We got to sit down and talk a little bit about where his focus is with his music and the direction he's taking it. Tropp says that he's building more within his city of Cleveland because Cleveland is next up—plus he did it big here already. Boi Toy' latest release “Baddie” is that new summer anthem for the ladies. “Wrist ice hurt ya life, dirty wit the sprite, shooters on my team, Bron And Kuwai get fly just to fly, been the shit lil bitch what ya n**** told me, he face down in the Benz.” this was straight off that brand new joint “Baddie” You could also hear her single “Drip Talk” which was featured on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. And bringing some brand new heat on every joint, Boi Toy is going hard to create her own wave—all while growing her network. Music was an escape for Boi Toy. “I want to take my music nationwide. I feel like my music do crazy numbers in other cities and states and I would love take my music on the road. I wanna travel the world with it, I wanna be in arenas and actually hear people saying my lyrics to my shit.” Boi Toy told us. Will Brown is an American author born and raised in Akron Ohio . Throughout childhood the author  excelled at scholastics despite a  rough upbringing in an impoverished neighborhood known for drugs and violence.  Despite all the good people in his life and the guidance he received, the authors  choice to succumb to his surrounding environment and be active in the streets eventually led him to a three year prison sentence in the Federal Penitentiary's notorious Big Sandy USP at the age of 22. Once released from prison the author moved to Atlanta Ga and started a family and lead the life of an average working man and was quite content.  In 2008 the united states went into a recession turning the authors life along with most Americans lives upside down and into a state of  turmoil not sure of how their bills would be paid or where their next meal would come from.  Subsequently the author once again found himself turning to crime which led to a 10 year prison sentence in the Georgia state prison system.  This time inside the author used his time wisely and strengthened his mind body and soul through reading, exercise, and religious studies.  He discovered classic literature and fell in love with the genre and tried to read as many books as possible which eventually led him to start writing himself. He was released from prison in 2020 and founded Literati Publishing co. that same year, and he has hopes of one day making it the number one publishing company in the world. You could say that Young Shon made his mark as a freestyle artist. He's big into going bar for bar and you could almost guarantee that he will win every time. Coming hard out of Cleveland, Ohio Young Shon is that artist that has no ceilings. “I'm counting blessings on blessings, I turned my losses to lessons, the money keep calling and texting, that's why we balling and flexing.” Young Shon raps on his latest joint “PLAYZ.” Hitting many venues nationwide, Young Shon genuinely enjoys the concert/festival lifestyle. It wasn't too long ago that Yung E released his latest project “Class of My Own” and he is about to drop some more music at the end of July. “I'm not even just a rapper, I'm a real artist. I got a lot of different sounds—I feel like I'm a very original artist. I try not to sound like anybody, just do everything for me.” Yung E told us. Bringing a fresh sound to the rap game, Chelsea Pastel is an artist on the rise—and has been putting in the real good work. She's been steady building out her fanbase and music library over some time. “What happened, like to talk big game, no action, post big captions, stop cappin.” Chelsea raps on her latest single, “Stop Asking.” Chelsea proves one thing for sure, that if you stay focused and dedicate yourself to your craft, dreams become reality. “If you make really good music, it's timeless. If you make something that's real good, you could put it out a year from now, you could put it out 2 years from now, it's gonna catch because they never heard it before, you know. I don't really try to get wrapped up in the trends, “sonically”, as far as trying to keep up with “what's out”, I just make music, good music. You could say that the music world is lucky when an artist brings the biggest energy—that's Boogey Shae. Boogey is from Cleveland, Ohio and she is continuing to put together hit records. “Bitch better have my money like Rihanna, or we gonna get it poppin in this bitch that's on my momma.” Boogey raps on her single “Real Shit.” Boogey says that she wants to stay tunnel vision with this—and Boogey also wants to keep good content out. “Let's talk about the pain, let's talk about the losses, let's talk about struggle and how much that shit's done cost me.” Hyphy raps on his latest release “The Rebuild.” Hyphy's been making some major moves to take his career to the next level. Hyphy has been making music and giving people something to remember. His approach is to make music that people can relate to and he highlights some of his up's and some of his downs through his music. Hyphy surrounds himself with people who like to work.

Jigga Flames is an artist out of Maryland, but his name is buzzing in many cities globally—and he's spending a lot of time in Atlanta. Being connected to DJ's and clubs everywhere, Jigga Flames is literally ten toes down. Shooting his first music video in 2014, he's been building an empire and getting it out the mud. “Don't Play with Him” being Jigga Flames' latest EP—Jigga Flames is all about the business, so the name was fitting. People have been tuned in from everywhere listening to 4everpeso and he just released some new heat titled “Miami Nights.” He is 4 Nick Entertainment, dreamers and St. Clair Records. Peso is an artist that makes it happen. He always had massive love for music as a kid and can really rap. Peso would sit by the tape recorder and record Tupac when he came on the radio. Chanelle Kazadi loves making music and had the opportunity to connect and create music with some amazing artists. Since spending time in the Cleveland scene, Chanelle has been goin up and taking her sound to the next level. Chanelle has been traveling coast to coast and has a special appreciation for the Cali scene. She has a brilliant mind and a unique sound that resonates well with the people. Around her latest release of “Headshots”, Chanelle and her team released some pretty cool content. “I try to be consistent, that's one thing about this game when you're coming up.”

“Can't get up out the stu cus I got money on my mind, and there ain't nothing else to do because I'm trynna change my family' lane.”, YSN Ourt raps on his latest single, “Nah Fr”. To say Ourt is doing big numbers would be totally accurate. YSN Ourt is an emerging artist out of Cleveland and he is embarking on a major rise to superstar status. Ourt surrounds himself with people who understand his drive and who never second guess his late nights in the studio. “The shit I was sayin' for real I was just letting people know how I was feeling, and I just put that shit on a song for real.” “Nah Fr” was Ourt's first drop in 6 months because he was working on his craft—and Ourt wanted to find his voice. He told us that Cleveland gives an artist a lot to talk about because there's so much happening. “YSN Ourt born Ourtney Bryant from Cleveland, Ohio is currently 20 years old born on August 28th, 2000. The name YSN Ourt came from being in a group before he also branched out to do his own thing. YSN stands for Young Successful Navigation.”

Mighty Da Don is a hip-hop artist from South Bronx. Alongside his music, Mighty manages his own label, Young Boss Life Entertainment—he does it for his city and to level up and reaching his dreams. Mighty told us that he started releasing music in 2015. I appreciate how Mighty preserves, and brings the sound of New York everywhere he goes. Mighty is applying a lot of pressure with his love for the game and his music travels worldwide. We've had some pretty great conversations and Mighty continues to impress everyone who has their ear to his crafty flow.
