Embark on this year-long voyage through the Bible, and let each day's passage uplift and inspire you. TODAY'S EPISODE: Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible podcast! In today's episode, we journey together through the pages of Scripture, exploring the depths of Job 37 and 38, and discovering the richness of spiritual gifts in 1 Corinthians 12. Hunter invites us to open our hearts and reflect on God's unfathomable power, the beauty of creation, and the unity we find as members of Christ's body. Through heartfelt prayer, thoughtful reflection, and practical encouragement for everyday kindness, this episode weaves together wisdom from ancient texts and personal devotion. Whether you're seeking a deeper way of life or simply a moment of peace, join us as we focus our hearts on what matters most—and remember, you are loved. TODAY'S DEVOTION: The Way of Life. Have you discovered the way of life? The body of Christ, in all its rich variety, is made for life. It derives its life from the one who is life itself. So have you found the Way of life? What is the way of life? First Corinthians 12:6 tells us plainly: God works in different ways, but it is the same God who does the work in all of us—God in us. In all of us. The way of life is God expressing himself in us. It is God in the hand, in the eye, in the ear, in the man, in the woman, in the boy, in the girl. It is God in me and God in you. The way of life is God expressing himself through your uniquely created, gifted self. Do you have peace with who you are? Do you have patience with where you are? Are you confident with yourself? Are you confident with what God has asked of you? To the extent that you realize that God is at work in you, that will be the extent that you discover and live in the way of life. There's another way of living that is not life. And that, of course, is to deny or to fail to see or recognize or welcome the life that you have in him. We fail to surrender to his life and instead demand our own. But when we do live the way of life, God uses the unique ways that he has created and gifted us in service to his kingdom for our own joy, so that others might know and experience his love. He enables us to help others find the way of life and to awaken to the reality of Christ in them. Paul wants to show us the way of life today—verse 31: "But now let me show you a way of life that is best of all." And the prayer of my own heart today is that we will see it, that we will know it, that we will receive it, that we will live in it. That's a prayer that I have for my own soul. That's a prayer that I have for my family, too—my wife and my daughters, my son. And that's a prayer that I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. And in all we do, direct us to the fulfilling of your purpose  through Jesus Christ Our Lord amen.   Oh God you have made of one blood all the peoples of the earth and sent your blessed son to preach peace to those who are far and those who are near. Grant that people everywhere may seek after you, and find you. Bring the nations into your fold, pour out your Spirit on all flesh, and hasten the coming of your kingdom through Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.   And now Lord,  make me an instrument of your peace.  Where there is hatred let me sow love. Where there is injury, pardon.  Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope.  Where there is darkness, light.  And where there is sadness,  Joy.  Oh Lord grant that I might not seek to be consoled as to console. To be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love.  For it is in the giving that we receive, in the pardoning that we are pardoned, it is in the dying that we are born unto eternal life.  Amen And now as our Lord has taught us we are bold to pray... Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not unto temptation, but deliver us from evil, for thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen. Loving God, we give you thanks for restoring us in your image. And nourishing us with spiritual food, now send us forth as forgiven people, healed and renewed, that we may proclaim your love to the world, and continue in the risen life of Christ.  Amen.  OUR WEBSITE: www.dailyradiobible.com We are reading through the New Living Translation.   Leave us a voicemail HERE: https://www.speakpipe.com/dailyradiobible Subscribe to us at YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@Dailyradiobible/featured OTHER PODCASTS: Listen with Apple Podcast DAILY BIBLE FOR KIDS DAILY PSALMS DAILY PROVERBS DAILY LECTIONARY DAILY CHRONOLOGICAL

Engage with scripture readings, heartfelt devotionals, and collective prayers that draw you into the heart of God's love. Embark on this year-long voyage through the Bible, and let each day's passage uplift and inspire you. TODAY'S EPISODE: Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible podcast! In today's episode, Hunter guides us through the Scriptures on this 10th day of November, sharing readings from Job 35 and 36 and 1 Corinthians 7 and 8. Together, we reflect on themes of God's justice, the blessing and challenges of marriage, and the powerful truth that love—not simply knowledge or religious performance—is the true mark of faith. As Hunter reminds us, we gather from all over the world to listen, pray, and kindle our hearts by the fire of God's love. Through thoughtful commentary and heartfelt prayers, today's episode invites us to let love be our guide in all things, seek God's purpose, and remember that regardless of what we know or achieve, we are deeply loved. Settle in, open your heart, and join the Daily Radio Bible community in a journey of faith, hope, and prayer. TODAY'S DEVOTION: Love is the truest test of what we really know. In today's reading, Paul makes a remarkable statement that challenges how we so often measure spiritual maturity and inclusion. He writes, "There is one God, the Father, by whom all things were created and for whom we live. And there is one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things were created and through whom we live." This is the kind of central truth you'd expect every believer to know, and yet Paul says, "However, not all believers know this." What a surprise. Even those who don't grasp the most basic tenets of faith are still counted as part of the community. We might think—in our churches and small groups and ministries—that knowing the right things, saying the right things, and praying the right things is the ticket in. But that's not Paul's view. Inclusion isn't about how much you know—it's about being known by God, the God who is love. Love gives itself to those who don't know, to all of us. Love lays down privilege and knowledge and lifts up those who are weak and uncertain. So Paul's advice is radical: let love be your guide. Let love direct your actions, and respond to those who "don't know" with patience, grace, and self-giving. Love is our catechism; it's our teacher and our guide. Whatever knowledge we possess, it should never stand above love, but always submit to it—for love instructs us in all we need to know, in God's perfect timing. Let love be our first concern, and then let's see what God will do. That's a prayer for my own soul, for my family—my wife, my daughters, my son—and it's a prayer for you. In today's episode, Hunter invites us into a thoughtful reflection on freedom, faith, and the journey of becoming who we are meant to be in Christ. We explore passages from Job 34 and 1 Corinthians 4 through 6, considering themes of justice, humility, and the transformative power of God's love. As Hunter leads us in prayer and meditation, we're reminded that true freedom is not autonomy, but living fully in the presence and design of God. We're encouraged to honor God not only with our words, but with our bodies and our lives. This episode is a soul-nourishing reminder of what it means to belong to God, to seek His kingdom, and to let His joy be our strength. Whether you're tuning in for a fresh start to your day or seeking wisdom for your spiritual walk, you'll find encouragement, challenge, and hope in today's episode. Let's join Hunter at the well of God's life-giving water and remember together: you are loved—no doubt about it. TODAY'S DEVOTION: You are free, my friend. But our freedom in Christ doesn't mean autonomy or abolition from all restraint on the self. No, it means that we are free in Christ. He has freed us to live in Him—the One who is the origin of our original design, the rock from which we have been hewn, the quarry from which we have come. And as we gaze upon him, we begin to see who we really are. The family resemblance begins to shine through, and we begin to honor God even in our bodies. May the Holy Spirit awaken our minds and our hearts to the reality of who we are and to whom we belong—that we might live to the praise and glory of the One who has set us free. That's the prayer that I have for my own soul. That's the prayer that I have for my family, for my wife, my daughters, my son. And that's the prayer that I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. "Learning Grace from the Master"Mark 9:30-50Having recently completed our series “None Like Jesus” let's continue to “Behold Him” by embarking on a new study through the Gospel of Mark. Mark's Gospel is the shortest of the four Gospels and it is action-packed from start to finish – as evidenced by the word “immediately” used over 40 times. Mark wrote to believers, probably Roman believers, who were no strangers to persecution. And he wanted to disciple his readers to be strong in their faith by encouraging them to look to their Mighty Messiah, the Son of God, who remained steadfastly faithful even while becoming their Suffering Servant who died for them. Mark's Gospel is a call to all believers to fearlessly “Follow Jesus” because they can trust Him completely.

Embark on this year-long voyage through the Bible, and let each day's passage uplift and inspire you. TODAY'S EPISODE: Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible podcast! In this November 8th, 2024 episode, your Bible reading coach and brother Hunter invites you on day 312 of our journey through scripture. We begin with Job 33, listening to Elihu's heartfelt dialogue with Job about God's ways, before diving into the opening chapters of First Corinthians. Here, Hunter guides us through Paul's passionate plea for unity, reminding us that true wisdom and power are found in the "foolish" message of the cross. Alongside the readings, we create space for prayer—interceding for ourselves, those we love, and the world around us. Hunter reflects on the simplicity of the gospel: that God, in radical, co-suffering love, has revealed His heart for humanity through Jesus. The episode closes with words of encouragement, partnership shoutouts, and an invitation to return tomorrow to be refreshed by God's love. Whether you're seeking spiritual guidance, deeper understanding of scripture, or simply a moment of peace, this episode offers a gentle reminder: you are loved—no doubt about it. So, let's open our hearts and journey together. TODAY'S DEVOTION: His message doesn't come with a bunch of show and pretense. He's not trying to build his own name or his own following. He's not trying to present himself as a great philosopher or a renowned debater. He has a simple and sincere spirit-empowered message. And it's so contrary to what the world would expect. So much so that he calls it the foolish preaching of the cross. He presents the simple, sincere, self-empowered foolish preaching of the cross. That message is that God in his love has offered his dearly loved Son to redeem humanity, to restore and renew all that was lost. God has loved all of humanity so much that he became one of us. He came to us in self-giving, radically forgiving, co-suffering love. And on the cross, he has defeated death, despair, and the grave and drawn us to himself. On the cross, God fully revealed to us his loving heart, the precious value of every human life—including yours. Now we can know who God is and who we have become in Him. This is the foolish message of the cross. And it's for you, it's for me, it's for everyone. So today we rest in that, we rejoice in that. And we ask the Holy Spirit to open our eyes that we might see more and more of what God has done, who he is, and what we have become.

On this November 6th episode, join Hunter, your Bible reading coach and host, as we journey through day 311 in our year-long walk through the Scriptures. Today, we dive into the raw honesty of Job, seek comfort in Psalm 120, and explore the liberating message of Paul in Galatians chapters 3 and 4. Together, we reflect on the transformation offered by God's love, the promise of freedom through faith in Christ, and Paul's passionate plea to the Galatians not to trade their spiritual freedom for old chains. You'll hear heartfelt prayers, inspiring challenges to fix your eyes on Christ, and a reminder of your true identity as a beloved heir of God. So grab your Bible and your coffee—or just tune in—as Hunter guides us through Scripture, prayer, and encouragement for your soul. Certainly! Here is the transcription of the devotional given after the Scripture readings and before the prayer, matched in tone, style, and format to your example: TODAY'S DEVOTION: This journey into God that provided you with forgiveness of sins, that gave you a joyful and grateful spirit, that made you a caring and generous person, that journey began by faith. When you woke up to the gift that God had given you in Christ and the truth of who you have now become in Christ, none of that happened by trying to become a good law keeper. These dear people in Galatia are being told that they must become circumcised. They must become Jewish converts. They're being instructed to follow the laws of Moses—the dietary laws, the dates, the deeds—all of it, because all of it would be necessary if they wanted to be counted among God's people. They're being told that Jesus was, in effect, a kind of first step to this new life and community. As Jewish converts, they would have to take the next step, and that meant circumcision. It's out of these pressures that Paul is urging them not to trade their freedom for chains, and the blessing of life for what he calls the curse of the law. Paul is saying that Jesus is the first and only step. The law was never meant to make us right with God. The law was given to come alongside us and convince our hearts of our need for a Redeemer and a Savior. It's there to point us to the cross—to God's self-giving, radically forgiving, co-suffering love. It's faith in what he has done, and what we have now become. That's where the joy is. And that's where Paul wants this church—and you and I—to live from. That's Paul's plea, not only to the Galatians, but to you and to me. What God has done for you in Christ is all that need be done. Paul wants us to keep our eyes fixed on him—not on ourselves—looking outward and upward and being changed and transformed as we look to him. So let's fix our eyes on Christ our Savior, on his beautiful life, continuing to look to him in faith, growing in Christ until He is fully formed in us. That's a prayer that I have for my own soul. That's the prayer that I have for my family, for my wife and my daughters and my son. And that's the prayer that I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity. On this November 5th, 2025 episode, your Bible reading coach and host, Hunter, invites us to journey together through the sacred pages of Scripture. Today, we explore the themes of wisdom and blessing as found in Job chapters 28 and 29, and the heart of the gospel message in Galatians chapters 1 and 2. Throughout the episode, Hunter guides us in contemplating where true wisdom comes from, reminding us that it cannot be bought or found apart from God. We also reflect on Paul's powerful defense of the gospel and the freedom it offers, encouraging us to turn our focus away from ourselves and onto Jesus, who transforms our lives. Join us for inspiring scripture readings, thoughtful commentary, heartfelt prayers, and a gentle reminder of God's love. Whether you're new to the journey or a longtime listener, let your soul be strengthened, your imagination renewed, and your hope firmly rooted in Christ. Settle in, open your heart, and let's spend some time together in God's Word. TODAY'S DEVOTION: The law will turn you in on yourself if you're looking for it to save you. The law misapplied will cause you to keep your focus on you—either how well you are doing, or how miserably you are failing. The focus is the same. In the end, it's all you. Paul knew all about the law. He was an expert in the law. But what Paul discovered was the Gospel. And the Gospel turns our eyes off of ourselves, redirecting our focus on to Jesus—not what we have done or haven't done, but on Jesus, what He has done and what we have become in Him. Not I, but Christ, says Paul. Because that's what the Gospel does. It turns us outward to God, into the world as the new creatures that we are. Paul says, "I am crucified with Christ, and the life I now live, I live by the faith of the Son of God who loved me and gave Himself for me." Paul has discovered that his real life is in Christ, not in obedience to the law. And this was his message. And he would not let anyone distort or change that message—not even Peter. So when Peter began to insist on Gentiles obeying the law of circumcision, he rebuked him publicly. Where are you looking? Inward, onto yourself? Are you looking to your own piety to get you in the good graces of God? Or are you looking outward, away from yourself and onto Jesus—the One who loves you and who is with you, the One who has made you and reclaimed you? Look to Him. Keep your eyes focused on Him, and don't let the law or anyone move your gaze anywhere else. In this episode for November 4th, 2025, Hunter guides us through a heartfelt journey in the scriptures, exploring Job chapters 26 and 27, and Mark chapters 15 and 16. Together, we reflect on Job's final speeches about integrity and innocence, and then witness the powerful and transformative story of Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection. Hunter delves into the meaning of the prisoner exchange between Barabbas and Jesus, drawing parallels to our own lives and the freedom Christ offers to all who have rebelled. The episode wraps up with uplifting prayers and encouragement to receive each day as a gift—reminding us of God's love and the restoration found in Christ. So grab your Bible, settle in, and share in this time of spiritual nourishment and reflection. TODAY'S DEVOTION: It was a prisoner exchange. Pilate agreed to release Barabbas in exchange for the King of the Jews. This is what the crowd wanted. This is the deal that was struck. A revolutionary for a king. Barabbas wasn't the first revolutionary to rise up in revolt. There was an earlier revolutionary that rose up against God and his kingdom—Adam. Adam was deceived, and he rose up in revolt. And when he did that, death and murder entered the world. Since the first uprising, uprisings, murder, death, suffering, pain, have never stopped. But Mark gives us an answer to the uprising, to the revolt. And the answer is someone far greater. Mark gives us one last glimpse of the son of God, the King of the Jews. Jesus came, and he offers himself as a substitute for Barabbas and Adam and you and me—all of us who have rebelled against God and his kingdom. This King made a way for all rebels to be free, just like Barabbas. He made the way for all of us to live a life free from the power of sin and the grave. It's a prisoner exchange. Barabbas, the son of Adam, is going to be free. And in his place will be the one who they call the King of the Jews. Mark wants you to see him as the substitute, the one given in exchange for rebels. He is the one who sets us free and puts an end to the rebellion, leading us to life beyond the grave, leading to the renewal of all things. Live in the freedom that he gives you with gratitude. And live in the strength of the One who truly is the Son of God. That's a prayer that I have for my own soul. That's a prayer that I have for my family, for my wife, my daughters, my son. And that's the prayer that I have for you. May it be so. TODAY'S PRAYERS: Lord God Almighty and everlasting father you have brought us in safety to this new day preserve us with your Mighty power that we might not fall into sin or be overcome by adversity.

TODAY'S EPISODE: Welcome to the Daily Radio Bible, where we journey together through the scriptures and let God's Word point us to the Living Word—Jesus, who alone has the words of life. On this November 3rd, Hunter, your host and Bible Reading Coach, invites you to join listeners from around the world as we read and reflect on passages from Job 25 and Mark 13-14. Today's episode takes us from the somber wisdom of Job to the heartbreak and hope found in Christ's final days—beginning with betrayal, denial, and suffering, and culminating in Jesus' unflinching love and promise of renewal. As Hunter guides us, we're reminded of our own weaknesses and deafness to God's voice, and yet also of Christ's faithfulness to heal, restore, and make us new. Stay with us for a time of scripture, prayer, and encouragement that together we may listen, receive, and walk in God's enduring love. TODAY'S DEVOTION: The sufferings of Christ have started. They begin with a promise, a kiss, a sword, and a severed ear. We're all deaf, so it seems, to God's Word. We've all denied and betrayed the living Word. We're all suffering, as it were, with severed ears and lips that betray. We use our lips to declare our allegiance and our affection. And in the end, we deny and we run away and we betray three times. Loyal Peter uses his mouth to deny that he even knows Jesus. And the most disloyal Judas uses his mouth to betray Jesus with a kiss. Loyal and disloyal alike can't get their mouths to be true. Everyone lies, everyone denies. Their mouths don't work, in part because their ears don't work. Jesus has been telling them that he is the one who will fulfill all Scripture. He is the suffering servant Isaiah spoke about; he would win their victory by his suffering and death. Time and time again, he tried to tell them, but they can't hear it. Like the temple guard, their ears have been severed, unable to hear. It appears we've all been rendered deaf to the word of God. But Jesus is unflinching in the face of our lying lips and deaf ears. Jesus will continue to fulfill all scripture. He will continue on his journey to the cross and he will heal our ears along the way. He will reattach ears that have been severed, unable to hear, causing them to hear again the life-giving words of the Gospel. And when he is done, he will create something even more amazing. He will create new hearts, making us completely new from the inside out. New mouths, new ears, new hearts, new women, new men from every tribe and nation, language and tongue, all will be made new. That's what Jesus has done. Sometimes my mouth and ears and heart, they don't work. But Jesus is unflinching. Even now he is completing the job he set out to do. And faithful is the one who began his good work in you. He will be faithful to complete it. Hallelujah. My prayer is that we would live in the Spirit. Then our mouths and ears and hearts will work and we will be awakened to the miracle of the resurrection to life and hope through Christ. That's the prayer that I have for my soul, friends. That's the prayer that I have for my family, for my wife, my daughters, my son. And that's a prayer that I have for you. May it be so.
