I can’t believe how this year has ended. It is hard to imagine that we aren’t clapping our our 5th graders and helping them envision their next step in education. I am relieved that most of our students will be transitioning to a wonderful building at PCMS. Some additional resources mentioned in the podcast: new student virtual tour. The 40 Developmental Assets are a list of assets that help our students feel successful. The list can be found here, and are briefly discussed in this podcast. Dr. Tulipana shares with us the impact that youth will have in their lives if we commit to supporting at least one of these assets with consistency. Ms. Madison Dunn (visiting student podcaster), asks Dr. Alex Williams, a clinical Psychologist, some great questions, and we dive into the ever interesting topic of mental health, changes in culture, how to find resources, and dispel some myths. I couldn't get enough of his insights, and invited him back to talk more about Trauma, strategies, etc. This is a good one!
