A great tragedy has befallen PixlBit. Through the instability and craziness that is technology, all previous episodes of Push Start to Continue have been lost. This calamity not only affects the denizens of PixlBit, but is considered a great loss to humanity as a whole. We are all a little worse off because of it. But through this tragedy we must persevere, and Jesse and Mike are moving forward. They may be back to ground zero, but sometimes starting over can be a good thing. So take a listen to the new beginning of PStC – the Reboot Edition. Music Courtesy of…. This week’s episode of Push Start to Continue is all over the place. Mike finally finishes a bunch of games over the weekend, Jesse succumbs and upgrades to the 3DS XL, they both share thoughts on the next Xbox, SquareEnix’s sales forecast folly, and that new Batman game. Plus Mike gets all lovey on BioShock: Infinite (in a spoiler free fashion) and Jesse reveals his game of the generation. All that and a bag of chips, just press that play button! And at some point Jesse refers to an article he read about Spec Ops and Battlefield 4 on Kotaku. Turns out he was completely wrong – it was on Destructoid. Give it a gander, listen to Jesse’s thoughts and add your own in the comments section below! Indie Megabooth: We Built a Booth Music courtesy of... They boys are back this week, and they mean business. Jesse ruffles some feathers early by declaring Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch overhyped (but still good), before professing his undying love for all things Fire Emblem. Then things get a bit ugly, as the boys prognosticate on the future of gaming, which may lead to some small amount of rage and depression. No indie game spotlight this time around, but we promise it will return in our next installment. If you have suggestions, be sure to leave them in the comments section below! Music courtesy of... Intro: Densmore by Anamanaguchi Outro: Dancing with Myself by Billy Idle - usually I would just link this, but the music video is too amazing to not embed. Got questions or comments for the crew? We may be a day late, but this episode of Push Start to Continue is certainly not lacking in the dollars and cents. Join Mike and Jesse as they completely ignore the awards given at this year's 10th annual Spike TV Video Game Awards, and talk about the only thing that really matters: the trailers and game announcements. Also discussed is the allure of the Demon's/Dark Souls series, the THQ Bundle, and much, much more. And since we talk about the trailers so damn much, we figured it only fitting that we include all of them (excluding Gears of War, which couldn’t be found anywhere), even the ones we failed to mention - sorry Tomb Raider, Castlevania and especially South Park! The Last of Us Dark Souls II The Phantom Pain BioShock Infinite Tomb Raider Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 South Park: The Stick of Truth Indie Game Spotlight: The Carp and the Seagull You can play the game here Music courtesy of… Intro: Densmore by Anamanaguchi Interlude: Score of The Carp and the Seagull Outro: Christmas Song by Nat King Cole Got questions or comments for the crew?
