The Godfather, one of the greatest films ever made, spawned a computer game in 2006. Made by Electronic Arts, it was originally released in March 2006 for Windows, PlayStation 2, and Xbox. It was later released for the PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, Wii, and PlayStation 3. It featured several famous actors from the film franchise reprising their roles for the computer game.But Al Pacino (Serpico, The Devil's Advocate, The Irishman) did not lend his voice to Michael Corleone in the game. Instead, Godfather himself was voiced by British-born Canadian actor Joseph May (Episodes, Resident Evil, Thomas the Tank Engine). After the Wii, but before the Switch, Nintendo released the Wii U. Not just a touchpad controller for the Wii, but a console with its own library and its own identity. However poor sales, and the fact that many of its titles have been ported to Switch, leave the Wii U in the dust of obscurity. Matt & Gen are joined by Jacob McCourt for a console retrospective on Nintendo's lowest selling non-portable gaming system. The Gamepad provided unique and fun game experiences. Resident Evil Requiem isn't out yet so we had to find something to do. Chamberlain finished High on Life 2 and recommends 1/3 of its humor but none of its gameplay. He also started Echoes of the End, a game no one else has heard of, that he describes as 'Hellblade without the annoying puzzles and suffocating pretentiousness'. Alex continues his tour of old games on new hardware, discovering that Super Mario Galaxy is much better when it isn't on the Wii. And Chance's desire to sneak around as a goblin beat out his desire to wield a sword in one hand and a wand in the other. The new Styx is AA goodness!
