Your invited to imagine along as we explore what life could be like if we were as familiar with regenerative farms as much as we are with coffee shops and fast food restaurants. If farmers were seen as integral to society as teachers and healthcare providers, and finally if we valued large scale “farm parks” as much as the traditional amusement park. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/farmertackett/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/farmertackett/support
Coming together can be challenging nowadays, making time for self or to connect with others there seems to always be challenges. This episode is no different from being disconnected 4-5 times to me using “um” an exhausting amount, it reflects some modern symptoms of society and successes to simply “roll with the punches”. From sharing their practices with tourists/guests, running a CSA, and working with ourselves this conversation is a great reminder why we do what we do- to come together to farm. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/farmertackett/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/farmertackett/support

Back in Colorado talking with Steve use to be filled with inspiring ideas and curiosities, I'm fortunate to know that those talks are still growing. This conversation, while breaking up now and again is full of both of our current contributions and curiosities, hope you can gather something from it. I reckon we don't need to wait for a new virtual/digital reality to explore living in a construct, but rather just look at how we continue to compete with nature as a society rather than in harmony. Part of the intention with this podcast is to consider and establish new pathways to nature "reality". --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/farmertackett/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/farmertackett/support

Through biodynamics, some of it's principles, and some tenets from other walks of life I have prepared myself to be closer to the kind of farmer I wish to be. This is the beginning friends, I don't say everything I meant to say and add plenty of unnecessary tangents. Its me though, well before 5am, before the kitchen shift, and before farm chores with my daughter trimming goat hooves only to have sneeze attack after huffing hay. I did have coffee though, but not enough. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/farmertackett/message Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/farmertackett/support
