Reject Video, where Scott and Kyle look at the most interesting forgotten video.
Teri Garr returns for her final SNL Hosting gig but can do little to overcome some dull material, including some of Don Novello's worst SNL writing. But there's at least one diamond in the rough. Scott and Kyle travel back in time to slog through the mess.
Back from the dead with a Highwayman episode (more my about status in the intro). Any attempt to coherently explain the plot of this episode will fail. Somebody's being tried for a crime without any proof the crime happened, but not his frequently mentioned but unnamed and seen accomplices. Some gold miners needed to pretend that their gold mine had failed, even though it actually had failed. The afterlife is the fourth dimension. The Highway is not haunted. Jetto doesn't know what an Uzi looks like. Characters eventually get names. Anyway, Highway is here to fix the problem as long as he gets dessert first. Kyle and Scott take a look.
We're not dead, and neither is the crowd when they get the first appearance of one of the great SNL hosts, Tom Hanks. Even at this point in his career, he's a star. Kyle and Scott enjoy the Show
It's time to get some backstory on Highway, as we meet his old mentor Cody. Highway will do anything for Cody, including committing serious crimes in foreign countries and failing to ask even the most basic of questions. Scott and Kyle talk about it until death duel they part.
SNL Brings in John Lithgow for the first of three hosting gigs. Unfortunately, his talent can only do so much to elevate this week's uninspired material. Kyle and Scott get Footloose with the review. The Highwayman finds another level of crazy as he's called in by the military to carry an important package during a communications blackout. Not all is as it seems, especially Tanya who we completely fail to recognize. Scott and Kyle take a look at the episode through Niscress colored glasses.
Season 11 Episode 3 is a return to form with Pee-Wee Herman as host. At least at first. The episode heads downhill pretty quick near the end. Scott and Kyle look at it all.

Since Reject Video is on vacation until next week, I thought I would take this opportunity to upload this experiment we recorded a few weeks back. It's a watch along of the Freeform TV Series "Wrap Battle" (via Hulu). It's a show that makes me mad. If you're not interested, don't worry, this is much easier for me to create and doesn't take time away from Reject Video. But if you do like it, let us know and we may keep going here.
The 1980’s were filled with many shows with super cars, helicopters, bikes and trucks. These shows featured hackneyed plots and car chases galore. This is the pilot for one of those shows, a show which goes off the rails when it goes to series. Theme: Bush Week - Nihilore (http://www.nihilore.com)

This week’s lows include an overlong Tennessee Williams Authority sketch and a failed attempt to give Eddie Murphy a weekend update-Style anchor role with a disastrous Polish joke. Reject Video takes another break from SNL to go to the movies! In 1987, Dino De Laurentiis had a brilliant idea, a movie with a million-dollar sweepstakes, sponsored by Glad trash bags! He didn’t have much of a screenplay to work with, or any talent. But let’s just fill it with stunts and it will all work out. Audiences saw through this disaster and the film was mostly forgotten, but Reject Video never forgets, and we’re here to give you the play by play.
