Clutter is fraught with emotions - especially guilt - which makes it incredibly difficult to let things go. Combined with aspirations of who we “could” be if we only had the time and energy, it's a wonder we can get rid of anything. In my interview on the No Guilt Mom podcast, host JoAnn Crohn and I chat about: Why we have so much more stuff than previous generations — and why it just keeps coming The real reason decluttering gets put off again and again (hint: it's not that you don't care) How to handle the guilt of getting rid of a gift — especially when the gift-giver asks where it went …and much more. This week, Cyber Uncut looks at important tax time advice, a string of Aussie hacks that have exposed sensitive personal information, and the Australian Signals Directorate's decision to retire the Essential Eight. CPA Australia has a warning this tax time, and that is to be very aware of taking tax advice from AI chatbots and financial influencers. An AI hallucination could cost you real money, so this is something to pay attention to! It's been a terrible week for data breaches in Australia, with the NSW Rural Fire Service warning its members of a data breach, and a ransomware actor dumping teacher and student data from the Reynella East College breach onto the dark web. Right now, cyber criminals are no doubt combing through the data, making this breach one that parents should pay attention to. Finally, the ASD has said that, as good as the Essential Eight is, it's no longer fit for purpose in the AI age. Find out what's going to replace it, and then stay tuned for an update on the alleged distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack that took down a One Nation website a couple of weeks ago. Just another week in cyber security. Enjoy, The Cyber Uncut team

As a child, she was incredibly close to her grandmother. When she was suddenly sent away for the summer, all she wanted was the chance to hear her voice again. Then one afternoon, the phone rang. The conversation felt completely real—loving, comforting, and strangely final. Hours later, her family shared devastating news that turned the call into a mystery she still can't explain.Because the grandmother she had just spoken with had already been gone for nearly two weeks.Decades later, she still remembers every word. And she still wonders who was really on the other end of the line.#RealGhostStories #GhostPhoneCall #AfterDeathCommunication #ParanormalPodcast #TrueGhostStory #UnexplainedMysteries #VisitationStory #SpiritualEncounters #LifeAfterDeath #SupernaturalExperience Love real ghost stories? If you've ever wondered why a project you worked incredibly hard on didn't land the way you hoped, this one's for you.Dan's whole career has been shaped trying to solve one of the biggest challenges in the Salesforce ecosystem: organisations pour blood, sweat and tears into Salesforce implementations and change programs, and then nobody uses them. The training was great, the tech was great, but nobody took the time to treat the people going through the change like actual humans.here are no pipeline diagrams or deployment strategies here. Instead, Dan and Jack get into the real reasons Salesforce adoption fails. Grief, identity, burnout, and the gap between what executives think they're building and what end users actually experience. Dan shares his heart, head and hand framework, the four Ps every leader needs to communicate before a go-live, and why the people who resist change the hardest are often your most valuable allies.

This one is bittersweet. The past five years of honest conversations have meant so much to me. By Words and the community we've built together have grown me in beautiful ways I never expected… Which is why saying goodbye (for a little while) feels so hard.I've made the difficult decision to leave this podcast on the altar and create space in my life to rest, heal, and pursue some other things God has put on my heart during this season. I know good things are coming and I can't wait to share them with you when the time comes. From the bottom of my heart, thank you so much for listening. Chazal teach that a person should not take leave of his friend through ordinary conversation, laughter, lightheadedness, or idle words, but through a dvar halacha because through that, “he remembers him.”Why are endings so spiritually powerful? Why does the Gemara specifically require halacha, not simply Torah? And why is the Gemara's example connected to Adam HaRishon, Bavel, and the palm trees of Babylonia? In this final shiur of the Tomer Devorah year, Rav Burg explores the inner meaning of goodbye. A goodbye is not merely the end of an encounter. It is a threshold, the delicate space between presence and absence, where memory is formed and meaning is encoded. When we part from another person, we can escape the vulnerability of the moment through joking, distraction, or empty chatter. Or we can leave them with something life-giving. A dvar halacha is Torah that becomes movement, a path forward. It says: I may be leaving, but I am not leaving you empty.Through the image of the palm tree, Chazal reveal the secret of healthy attachment: even when branches spread outward, there remains one heart. Even in Bavel, the place of exile, confusion, and fragmentation, there can still be inner unity.True connection does not create dependency. It helps another person internalize light, direction, and strength. And sometimes, the people we meet awaken Torah within us that we did not even know we were carrying.
How do you feel when you have to say goodbye to someone or something you love? Maybe it's a loved one moving on. A child leaving home for college. A parent passing on. An unexpected divorce. The loss of a beloved pet. An injury or illness. A job loss, or the end of a career. Are you more likely to feel grief or gratitude? Sorrow or celebration? Anxiety or appreciation? Fear or opportunity? More importantly, how well do you process these feelings, especially if they are troubling? Do some of these feelings linger for long periods of time? Perhaps forever? In this episode of The Change Mastery Show, John J. Murphy will challenge you to be mindful of your feelings about loss and recognize that whatever you are feeling, you are asking for more. Extended grief will bring you more to grieve. Gratitude for the experiences you have had will draw in more experiences that bring you joy. Fear will attract more fear, while positivity will free you from the weight of suffering you bear. This is universal law. Certainly, it can hurt to say goodbye. This is a human phenomenon. It can also reveal a deep sense of self-regard and egotism. When a loved one dies, do you think they want you to hurt? Or are you hurting because you have attached your feelings to something you cannot control? Does your loved one hurt? Or have they moved on to a realm of pure joy? These are thoughts that are worth contemplating. John has certainly done so, and he will share how shifting his mindset from suffering to salvation has made a world of difference with the many losses he has experienced – personally and professionally. The same opportunity is available to you. You will discover: How to process loss and grief in a positive way. What does it mean to let it in the front door and out the back door without “inviting it for tea?” How to understand human feelings as frequencies of energy that can shift when you take ownership and change the “channel.” What does a shift in mindset look like in terms of application and experience? How to turn loss into opportunity with a shift in mindset. How do look at any situation as a “blessing in disguise.” What does it mean to be grateful for your problems?

We also get into the big mythology questions: are the fears becoming part of the forest? Is Donna connected to the town in a bigger way than we realized? Welcome to The Georgia Politics Podcast! It's 1976 again, and in this episode we celebrate 40 years of Turnstiles, the album that marked a turning point in the career of Billy Joel. Released at a pivotal moment in Joel's life, Turnstiles chronicled his return to New York after time spent in California and captured the sights, sounds, and spirit of the city that shaped him. Featuring fan favorites such as "Say Goodbye to Hollywood," "Miami 2017 (Seen the Lights Go Out on Broadway)," and "New York State of Mind," the album showcased a songwriter finding his voice and embracing his roots. We explore the stories behind the songs, the formation of Joel's longtime touring band, and how Turnstiles laid the groundwork for the commercial breakthrough that would soon follow. Join us as we revisit one of the most personal and enduring albums in Billy Joel's remarkable catalog. Today's episode deals with a controversial question: Should a person be legally allowed to get medical assistance to end their own life? And keep in mind, this usually pertains to someone who is terminally ill, and who is also mentally and emotionally stable enough to make that decision on their own. Here in the US, most states still do not allow it. But Medical Assistance in Dying is legal in all of Canada. That's where Courtney lives. Courtney told this amazing story on the podcast about four years ago. It's the story of her mother's decision, and it's both wonderful and heartbreaking. And stick around after, because I was able to record a chat with Courtney to get an update on what's happened since we last spoke. While working overnight on a hospital comfort care unit, one nurse spent hours caring for a woman nearing the end of her life after suffering a catastrophic stroke. Unable to speak or move, the patient appeared frightened and in pain as her family gathered around her bedside preparing to say goodbye. The nurse did everything he could to ease her final hours, repositioning her, managing her pain, and quietly supporting the family through the process of letting her go. Toward the end of the shift, he sensed something in the room shift after the woman's daughter softly told her mother it was okay to move on.Later that night, after finally returning home to sleep, the nurse experienced an intensely vivid dream involving a glowing golden light, overwhelming emotion, and what felt like direct contact with the patient herself. Then he returned to work and learned the exact time she had died. #RealGhostStories #AfterlifeExperience #ParanormalEncounter #HospiceCare #SpiritVisitation #NearDeathExperience #TrueGhostStory #ParanormalPodcast #LifeAfterDeath #HospitalGhostStory Love real ghost stories? Some say Zozo is just a trick of the mind, but after countless chilling Ouija board encounters and centuries of whispered warnings, maybe it's something far more sinister.EPISODE PAGE (includes sources and transcript): https://weirddarkness.com/SummoningZozoIN THIS EPISODE: The Zozo demon has allegedly harassed hundreds via their Ouija boards. But is this demonic force from the spirit world or from our own minds? *** Citizens of Van Meter, Iowa were confronted with a tall, human-like figure with bat-like wings, a single horn on its head, and it, apparently, was bullet-proof. What was this supernatural creature people were seeing? *** A bride-to-be becomes worried when her fiance disappears – so she contacts a psychic friend to see if she can help. *** Something sinister creeps into a Christian boarding house. *** Bram Stoker wrote his classic novel “Dracula” in 1897… but vampires are much, much older than that. *** A supposedly cursed doll has remained in the protection of one family for over four generations. But why would this family keep hold of such a demonic item? *** They are almost always silent, enigmatic figures usually seen at a distance up on ridges silhouetted against the darkening twilight sky, always at around dusk or dawn, quietly looking over and surveying their domain with unknowable purpose and often vanishing in the blink of an eye.
