Fourteen hours of excruciating pain, a hospital emergency room, and a curtain separating her from another patient's groaning and complaints — and then, just as the medicine began to kick in, a quiet and unsettling invitation in Kelly Balarie's mind: doesn't it feel good to be taken care of? Doesn't it feel nice to finally get the attention and compassion you've been needing? In this raw and spiritually perceptive episode, Kelly describes the moment she recognized that voice for exactly what it was — and refused to sign the contract it was offering. The paralytic man in John 5 had been lying on his mat for thirty-eight years. He had reasons, excuses, and circumstances that seemed to justify staying exactly where he was. But Jesus did not coddle his pain or validate his helplessness. He simply said: get up, pick up your mat, and walk. Kelly draws a clear and challenging parallel between that man's mat and the mat of self-pity we can each find ourselves lying on — sometimes without even realizing it. Pain is real, need is real, and suffering deserves compassion. But there is a difference between receiving care and making a home in helplessness. The invitation from Jesus is always the same: rise up. Take a step. Walk. Bible Verse "Then Jesus said to him, 'Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.'"— John 5:8, NIV Ponder Today Self-pity can masquerade as a need for compassion. The enemy is not above using real pain and real vulnerability to lure us into a posture of ongoing helplessness. Recognizing the difference between genuine need and self-pity is a spiritually important act. Looking to people for what only God can provide will always leave us empty. When we seek from others the validation, attention, and care that only God can truly give, we set ourselves up for deeper disappointment and deeper need. Pain is often healed as we take a new step. Healing rarely comes in full before we are asked to move. Like the paralytic who rose and walked, sometimes obedience to the command precedes the complete restoration we are longing for. Reject the enemy's contracts early. The invitation to stay down, stay sick, and stay sorry for yourself is subtle and can feel reasonable in a moment of vulnerability. Identify it, name it, and refuse it — just as Kelly did in that hospital room. A Prayer for You Today Father, help us when we feel down and out — when it seems like there is no way forward. Show us Your way instead. May we rise up according to Your strength and not our own. Help us not to look to people for what only You can truly provide. May we be strong in the power of Your might, and may we have the courage to pick up our mats and walk. In Jesus' name, Amen. Don't Miss an Episode If today's prayer stirred the courage to rise up from whatever has been holding you down, we'd love to stay connected. What happens when God asks you to leave everything familiar behind before showing you where you are actually going? Are you willing to trust His promises when the path forward is completely hidden from view? This week on Off Script, Connor Hall steps in for Neil Gregory to sit down and discuss a powerful Father's Day weekend. They unpack the launch of a new series on faith, diving deep into the story of Abram in Genesis 12 and what it looks like to step out in radical obedience. The conversation covers the grueling process of writing a sermon twice, the tough boundaries surrounding worship music and theology, and the countercultural reality that partial obedience is still disobedience. Ultimately, this episode serves as a reminder that while false gods will always demand that you bleed for them, our God is the one who bled for us. The Challenge: Identify one area of your life where you have been offering God "partial obedience" or trying to bring your old baggage along for the ride. This week, make the definitive choice to clear out the weeds, leave that comfort zone behind, and take one full step of pure obedience into the unknown. Hosts: Connor Hall and Scott Nickell What We Discuss: • Connor Hall stepping in to host the podcast while Neil Gregory is away across the pond in Ireland • How preaching on Father's Day affects Scott, and why the turnout this past weekend was a proud moment • The behind-the-scenes breakdown of why a sermon had to be entirely rewritten on a Wednesday morning due to a worship song copyright slide • The specific theological boundaries the church maintains regarding certain ministries, false gospels, and musical infiltration • Dissecting the massive chronological gap between Genesis 12, verses 3 and 4, by using Stephen's speech in Acts 7 • Why Abram's decision to bring Lot along was a hedge of his bets and a form of partial obedience • Reject, Redeem, Receive: A practical three-part filter for evaluating what can and cannot come with you into your Christian walk • Dismantling the cultural pressure of progressive Christianity that attempts to mold God's word around personal sexual identity About Southland Christian ChurchSouthland is one church meeting in multiple locations across central Kentucky. We believe Jesus came for the lost and the broken, which means there's a place for everyone here. Around here, that means we worship defiantly, speak truth unashamedly, and extend grace generously. We opened this episode of The Dr. Peter Breggin Hour acknowledging the weight of our times. For the past week, we've explored how to live meaningfully amid chaos, threats, and cultural unraveling. That conversation remains vital. But reality does not pause for comfort. This week, we returned to the difficult terrain with our friend J.J. Carroll — a man of uncommon courage, a former law enforcement officer with decades on the border and in fugitive operations, a truth-teller who was recently fired for daring to speak plainly on the very issues he lived. J.J.'s experiences are not abstract. They have been forged in daily encounters with violence in the six months he worked with ICE in 2025-2026 and the violence he faced for 24 years as a Border Patrol Officer, arresting drug cartel members on the Southern border. He describes a nation where the demographic transformation is not subtle policy but visible, measurable destruction. J.J. is a firsthand witness to the continued open borders, net increases in illegal immigration, and jobs going overwhelmingly to non-Americans while native-born citizens, especially White males, are sidelined. Government data he cites paints a stark picture: hundreds of arrests daily, yet a system so backlogged that true mass deportations feel like a distant promise rather than a current reality. We do not shy away from these realities on this show. America was built by a specific people with a specific culture — a White, Christian, European-rooted nation that achieved greatness through shared values, faith, rule of law, and high-trust communities. Pretending otherwise dishonors history and endangers the future. As J.J. powerfully states, demographics shape destiny. When you import millions from cultures with vastly different norms, lower average IQs, and incompatible worldviews — often without any expectation of assimilation — you do not enrich; you transform, and not for the better. Europe is learning this lesson in blood and social collapse. We ignore it at our peril. Even now, the mayhem is surging onto our shores. The rising tide of migrant violence and social breakdown is unmistakable across Europe and England, where no-go zones, knife crime, and gang rapes have become grim daily realities. Here in the United States, the pattern repeats in major cities like New York and beyond. The many stories of murders, rapes, and other violence by illegal immigrant populations are not isolated tragedies; they are the predictable consequence of policies that prioritize unassimilated foreign populations over the safety and future of our own children. We have a huge country to manage with almost 350 million souls living here from all parts of the world. There are issues with continued illegal border crossings, international drug trafficking into the US, and massive issues of fraud and theft on a level never before identified that threatens to demolish us and invites totalitarianism to come and take charge. The Judeo-Christian foundational culture that created America and those individuals who were all part of it are being shredded by our political and intellectual elite and other cultures coming from far different places in the world who want no part of what we have here in terms of civilization. A significant number of these people have no understanding of respect for human life, the rule of law, the US Constitution, basic rules of life, or rules of the road that we take for granted. How does that ignorance translate into the daily lives of citizens? No respect for human life translates into murder, including the deliberate attacks on people who are strangers by perpetrators using trucks, knives, guns, and other weapons. No understanding of, agreement with, and respect for the rule of law translates into fraud and theft on a massive basis, employing lying, subterfuge, and cunning to swindle, cheat, and steal from individuals and from American citizens through federal theft. In California, several massive, multi-million-dollar fraud rings involving illegal immigrants and transnational criminal organizations have recently been dismantled by federal authorities for stealing taxpayer-funded welfare, COVID-19 relief, and tax revenue. Similar large-scale fraud operations tied to Somali communities have also plagued Minnesota, further draining public resources intended for American citizens. This cultural incompatibility extends even to everyday infrastructure. Illegal immigrant commercial drivers, often poorly trained, unlicensed, or operating stolen or improperly maintained vehicles, are contributing to chaos on our highways. Serious accidents, deadly pile-ups, and overwhelmed emergency services have increased in areas with high concentrations of such drivers, adding yet another layer of preventable danger to American families who simply want to travel safely on roads built and maintained by prior generations. As Elizabeth Nickson has powerfully documented in her recent Substack column “White Boy's Summer,” the impact across Europe has been devastating. Decades of mass migration have been accompanied by a deliberate political project that has taught many newcomers to view the native populations — the very citizens who built and sustain these societies as producers, taxpayers, and keepers of the culture — with resentment and outright hatred. (See: White Boy's Summer) The Spiritual Dimension This is not merely political or economic. It is spiritual. We agreed that there is a degree of evil walking the world that we have not seen before. Both concepts of evil and love have been banished from intellectual discussion, laughed at as old-fashioned. Cultural relativism — the idea that all cultures and moral systems are equally valid with no objective standard by which to judge them — is the opposite of these terms. Allan Bloom's 1987 bestseller, The Closing of the American Mind, sounded the warning but was quickly buried in intellectual and media circles with a wave of multiculturalism, DEI, calls of racism to silence critics, and a focus on bending reality with transgenderism and other tales that have left devastation in their path. J.J. speaks as a believer who sees Satan as the source of evil roaming the earth, a force that delights in the slaughter of the innocent — 63 million abortions, the mutilation of children under transgender ideology, and the darkest allegations tied to elite networks like those surrounding Jeffrey Epstein. The failure to fully release the Epstein files, despite promises and power, is a profound betrayal. When those in authority protect the powerful at the expense of justice for children, the system stands condemned. Peter and I have long warned about the moral free fall — the erosion of the Ten Commandments in public and private life, the suppression of love and conscience, the celebration of evil in entertainment and elite circles. Occult influences, ritualistic abuses, and a rejection of God create a void that darkness eagerly fills. We see it in the boldness of anti-human spectacles at major events and in the quiet despair of families watching their children be targeted. We Refuse Despair We do not exempt leaders from scrutiny. While Donald Trump remains the strongest border president in modern memory, serious disappointments linger — continued promotion of mRNA technology, the absence of full accountability for past crimes, and an emperor-like tone in some foreign policy pronouncements. Real change requires more than one man. It demands people willing to reclaim their inheritance. Yet we refuse despair. Peter reminded us of the Black Robed Regiment — the ministers who fueled the American Revolution with Judeo-Christian conviction. The Black Robed Regiment was the courageous pastors and clergy of the Revolutionary era. They preached biblical principles of liberty, justice, and resistance to tyranny from their pulpits and from town to town in Colonial days, leading up to the American Revolution, while dressed in their distinctive black robes. These men were instrumental in shaping the fundamental, encompassing worldviews of individual freedom, liberty, and release from tyranny. These courageous and hardy pastors, ministers, and clerics rallied the American people, framing the fight for independence as a sacred duty and providing the moral and spiritual backbone of our nation's birth. We need a similar revival today: a return to the fundamentals of faith, family, and constitutional order. J.J. finds hope in his teenage son's generation and the friends he drives around — young people who are more politically engaged and spiritually aware than many in prior generations. They are turning away from the emptiness of the sexual revolution, materialism, and identity chaos, and they want none of it. Across the country, our youngest generations — Gen Z and Alpha — are showing signs of a quiet but powerful shift, returning to God, traditional churches, and core American values of family, self-reliance, and ordered liberty. Reports and surveys document rising interest in Christianity, declining support for extreme gender ideology, and a renewed appreciation for the Founding principles that made this nation exceptional. Young girls, too, are increasingly rejecting the glitter culture of hyper-sexualization and fluid identity in favor of something more grounded and enduring. Small Is Beautiful: Love in Action In the face of such overwhelming disorder, the answer begins at home. Make your home a sanctuary. Love your spouse fiercely. Raise your children in truth. Plant apple trees — literally, as Peter and I recently did in our backyard. Build a real community where you are. Civility, trust, and decency radiate outward from strong families. As Peter emphasized at the close, the world's evil fades by comparison to the love we put into it. God will measure us by that love. In a time when elites peddle division and death, we counter with creation, fidelity, and courage. This conversation with J.J. Carroll is raw, unflinching, and necessary. We invite you to listen to the full episode. Let it stir you — not to hopelessness, but to renewed commitment. Speak truth. Reject the lies about our nation's Founding and character. Protect the innocent. Cling to God. And never apologize for loving your people, your culture, and your children's future. We continue our series on living faithfully in dark days — see our recent “Small Is Beautiful” piece on Substack. Your presence here, your subscriptions, and your own acts of courage sustain our work. We love you, dear audience. Stay strong. The fight is generational, but good men and women — and a sovereign God — are not easily defeated.

For five decades, I have worked inside government and out to expose, challenge and counter totalitarian enemies of our country pursuing her destruction. Currently, those forces include such adversaries foreign and domestic as Chinese Communists and their allies, sharia-supremacists and global elitists. I call it the “Red-Green-Blue axis.” One line of attack common to such enemies is influencing and, wherever possible, indoctrinating our children.  Literally today, this axis has its sights firmly on Texas' K-12 social studies curriculum. Thankfully, the State's Board of Education has repeatedly voted to ensure that this important charter for what will be taught not only in Texan public schools, but perhaps another twenty across the country and for the next fourteen years, is factual and equips our kids to love and protect freedom.  It must do so once again this week. Please weigh in at sboe.texas.gov. This is Frank Gaffney.

What Does He Think of Me Now? | Christ For YouLuke 15:1–32 | Trinity 3The Pharisees are offended because Jesus receives sinners and eats with them. Not respectable sinners. Not cleaned-up sinners. Tax collectors, public sinners, unclean sinners, the kind of people religious men thought God should keep at a distance. But Jesus does not apologize. He tells a story.A son runs from his father, wastes everything, destroys himself, and comes home with nothing. What will the father do? Will he shame him? Reject him? Make him earn his way back? Or will he receive him? What does this parable teach us about guilt, repentance, shame, and the heart of God? Why do we secretly imagine God keeping score? What happens when we treat forgiveness like a point system? And what does it mean that the father runs to embrace his lost son? This Trinity 3 sermon proclaims the comfort of Christ for sinners who wonder whether they have gone too far, failed too often, or come home too late. In Christ, the Father receives sinners, forgives sinners, feeds sinners, raises sinners, and brings His children home.Subscribe & Share:Spotify: Christ For YouPortuguês: Cristo Para VocêWebsite: ZionWG.orgLooking for a Lutheran Church near you?Support the preaching of God's Word.

The cross-national correlation between gender equality and lower fertility is exceptionally strong (r ≈ 0.81). After the 1960s, a unique mating regime spread across parts of the world—with female emancipation, individual mate choice, and effective birth control—followed by a continuing rise in singlehood and declining fertility. Almost all women still want to reproduce, but many struggle to find a good-enough partner. This article argues from an evolutionary perspective that many men's utility to “free women” has been so diminished that solving the fertility crisis by increasing pair-bonding rates seems unfeasible. A viable means for aiding the survival of low-fertility nations could be to provide women with the economic and social resources necessary for them to conclude that having children alone makes for a better life than remaining childless. Such policies would likely exacerbate male marginalization, but new technologies are on the horizon that could offer men reproductive equality.

Drawing directly from the Hebrew Scriptures, Yaffah walks through the prophetic requirements — Davidic lineage, the regathering of Israel, the rebuilding of the Temple, worldwide peace, and universal recognition of the one God of the Hebrew Bible — and explains why the fourth-century Council of Nicaea introduced a contradiction, not a continuation, of what Scripture already established.Laurie confronts the rise of Christian antisemitism in America and calls believers back to a Hebraic, Scripture-anchored understanding of God's eternal covenant with Israel. Through personal reflection and Scripture, she points readers back to the unchanging truth that God does not forsake His children. Highlights Emotional wounds from rejection can linger and shape how we trust others. Human relationships are imperfect, but God’s presence is constant and unchanging. Hebrews 13:5–6 reassures believers that God will never forsake them. Jesus personally experienced rejection, betrayal, and abandonment. God’s faithfulness provides healing for deep emotional pain. The words spoken (in the dream) to my husband and me cut to the core, and they hurt so badly that my first reaction was tears so strong they stained my cheeks when I awoke. Being a storyteller allows for intense dream-tales in my mind while I’m supposed to be resting, sleeping. It’s something I have always dealt with since I was a child- I wake up trying to shake the mental visions, telling myself over and over again that it’s not real. Eventually, the emotions fade, and I can go on with the rest of my day. In this recent instance, I had trouble getting past the pain and just began talking to God about it. It was obvious and simple- I was still dealing with rejection, and it still hurt, but I was reminded that there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:24). Although Proverbs 18:24 doesn’t necessarily say that friend is Jesus, I know that He will always be there for me even when everyone else fails me. Scripture tells us that God never leaves us or forsakes us in Deuteronomy 31:6. This truth from the Old Testament about our never-changing God is also stated again as a reminder in Hebrews 13, along with this powerful truth that people will fail us, and people may reject us, but we should not fear, for God is on our side. He is our helper. “…for He Himself has said, ‘I will never desert you, nor will I ever forsake you,’ so that we confidently say, ‘The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?’” (Hebrews 13:5b-6, NASB). Intersecting Life & Faith: When we face rejection from others, we must remember that Jesus understands rejection better than anyone, as He has experienced it firsthand. Many people rejected Jesus (and continue to do so) while He was here on earth, even one of His very own disciples (Judas), rejected Him and betrayed Him. And just a couple of hours later, another one of His closest disciples (Peter) rejected knowing Him. Three times to be exact. Aren’t you so thankful for Jesus’ forgiveness when we turn our backs on Him! He gives us so many opportunities to repent and make things right in our relationship with Him! His mercies towards us are new every single morning… oh, what love! Has the pain of rejection made it difficult for you to trust others? Lay that pain at the foot of the cross, friend. God can bring healing to the wounds of those who have hurt you and empower you to choose to forgive. Instead of allowing bitterness to take root in your heart, perhaps you should ask the Lord to bless those who have hurt you, even if they don’t want you in their life anymore. Jesus was rejected, yet He took the punishment of our sin out of love for those who would put their trust in Him. No matter how much man rejects us, we must remember that Jesus is the friend who sticks by us no matter what. He will never leave you nor turn His back on you. The Lord understands our pain regarding rejection, and His arms are open wide, so let us be quick to draw near to Him. Lo, He is always with you…even to the end of the age! In this profound episode of School of Divine Mysteries, the Mahdi Aba Al-Sadiq explores the hidden spiritual realities behind prophecy, testing, and human destiny, joined in conversation by his disciple Tiffany. This episode delves into the forgotten covenant of the souls, the world before creation, and why this physical life is not a first test—but a reenactment of an ancient one. Through deep Qur'anic insights, prophetic narrations, and esoteric knowledge, the discussion uncovers how inner belief and disbelief manifest across lifetimes, why divine tests repeat, and how free will, destiny, and spiritual purification truly work. The conversation also examines envy as the root of spiritual downfall, the unseen burden of divine authority, and why even prophets and messengers were tested with humility and self-knowledge. Using powerful symbolism, timeless myths, and sacred history, this episode challenges common assumptions about righteousness, leadership, and what it truly means to be chosen by God. Viewers are invited to reflect on envy, obedience, reincarnation, the Rajʿah (Return), and the mercy embedded in divine justice—making this episode essential viewing for anyone seeking deeper understanding of Islamic mysticism, the Ahlul Bayt, and the spiritual mission of the Mahdi in our time.

I compare two major surveys published in 2025 that reveal the same trend among everyday American Bible readers — a clear majority no longer believe Jesus is God. At the same time, interest in Unitarianism is surging. Many Christians experience similar spiritual bondage they believe they're forgiven through Christ's blood but don't truly believe they're free from sin's patterns, habits, and thoughts. Butterfield provides eight practical points for starving sin, beginning with making your calling and election sure. “Why do you reject the papacy?” This question opens a discussion on authority within the Church, touching on the necessity of a papal figure and the implications of such leadership. Other topics include the role of Mary and the Eucharist, as well as concerns about the treatment of statues and experiences with controlling religious groups. Join the Catholic Answers Live Club Newsletter Invite our apologists to speak at your parish! Visit Catholicanswersspeakers.com Questions Covered: 04:00 – Pope Leo on Nations 07:15 – The original precepts of Catholicism are fine by me, but I don't agree with the “fine print.” For example, I agree with the idea of a need for authority and headship, but I don't see the need for a papacy and all the things that go along with that. 20:57 – I don't agree with the idea of Mary being protected from being able to commit sin. I also feel like the filioque rejects the Trinity. Also my problem with the Eucharist is how could it be him if he instituted it when he was still alive? 29:05 – I feel like Catholic treatment of statues is kind of like worshipping the golden calf. 40:19 – It doesn't seem right for people to be bound by a particular opinion of the pope. That prevents people from thinking and coming up with an answer that makes sense. 47:32 – I got involved with this group and felt like I was being fed spiritually. They claimed to be baptist. But it got more and more controlling. Once they told me I am no longer myself and I was someone else. Once they laid me down and there was some kind of thing sucking out of my mouth and a electric feeling on my forehead. It got more controlling. They told me where to work. Have you ever heard of this? Is it a cult?

Today, Paul M. Neuberger tackles the corporate sacred cow: DEI—diversity, equity, and inclusion. It's everywhere. It's celebrated. It's untouchable. But is it biblical? Is it of God—or just another idol from the culture's altar?Paul M. Neuberger doesn't flinch. He calls out favoritism. He exposes the empty promises. He opens the Word and rips the mask off cultural conformity. The cost? Criticism. Marginalization. Outrage. But Jesus is still Lord—even when truth makes enemies. Even when courage costs you. What about you? When your workplace pushes the latest ideology, will you fold or will you fight—for truth, for Christ, for unity rooted in the Gospel?"Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will." –Romans 12:2Episode Highlights14:26 - The Bible teaches equal value. It doesn't teach equal outcomes. Those are not the same thing. Modern DEI ideology often focuses heavily on outcomes. Who got promoted, who got hired, who got accepted, who got recognized, who achieved success. And then it frequently works backwards from those outcomes to determine whether discrimination must have occurred. But Scripture focuses on something extremely different.19:01 - One of the reasons that I personally believe that DEI conflicts so strongly with a biblical worldview is because it often reintroduces something that scripture repeatedly condemns, favoritism. It may be packaged differently, it may use different language, it may be presented as progress. But at its core, favoritism is still favoritism. And God has never, ever been a fan of it.43:26 - Are we going to allow culture to shape our beliefs? Or are we going to allow scripture to shape our beliefs? Are we going to seek the approval of man? Or are we going to seek the approval of God? Are we going to remain silent when truth becomes unpopular? Or are we going to stand with courage, conviction, grace and love? Every generation of Christians faces these defining moments.Connect with Paul M. NeubergerWebsite

The hardest part of changing your yard isn't the shovel work, it's the moment you decide the “perfect lawn” game isn't worth playing anymore. I'm continuing our three-part series on growing a rebel garden with the second phase: Reject. If you've ever felt stuck between keeping 100% turf and going 100% native, I'll show you the wide, realistic middle ground where a small, intentional garden can shift your whole landscape over time.We dig into the real reasons people don't start: fear of what neighbors will think, fear it'll look messy, fear you'll kill plants, and fear you're signing up for more work. I make the case for rejecting perfection and choosing participation instead. Your first rebel garden can be small (I recommend staying under 250 square feet), flexible, and designed for easy wins. I'll also walk you through a quick site reality check so you pick a spot you'll actually see, enjoy, and maintain while it establishes. Then we get practical: safety and planning. Before you dig, call 811 for utility locates. It's free, it's simple, and it protects you and your property. Finally, we tackle the most controversial step for many homeowners: removing turf. I explain the tension around using glyphosate as a one-time transition tool, why purpose and frequency matter, and what alternatives look like if you want to avoid chemicals. The goal stays the same: move away from ongoing chemical dependency and build a low-input, wildlife-friendly native plant garden that supports pollinators, birds, clean water, and healthy soil.If this matches your values, join me for the 10-day Rebel Garden Challenge starting June 19th. Subscribe, share this with a neighbor who's tired of lawn upkeep, and leave a review so more people can find a better way to grow.Join A Rebel Garden in Ten Days Challenge!Learn more about getting your own Rebel Garden at ABetterYard.org.

Crystal Rivers | Open Book | Jun 9, 2026 The life of Christ is already within you by the Holy Spirit, and that life is not passive. It is power, wisdom, righteousness, redemption, sanctification, and glory working inside you. You are not called to live as a shallow believer who is easily moved by offense, fear, temptation, sickness, deception, or the pressure of men. You are called to be rooted, grounded, established, and built up until Christ is fully formed in you. The goal of your life is not merely to be successful, famous, wealthy, or influential in this world; the true goal is to grow into the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. The Holy Spirit is in you for specific purposes. He saves you, builds you, changes you, matures you, and works through you. He is not given merely for spiritual excitement or outward display, but to bring you into the image of Christ and make you useful in the agenda of God. Every believer has a ministry, and the offices of apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers exist to equip the saints so the whole body can grow, serve, and come into maturity. You are not meant to remain a child tossed about by every doctrine, every offense, every temptation, or every scheme of darkness. You are meant to grow until you can stand, discern, overcome, and minister life. Understand that growth comes with testing. When the word of God enters your heart, tribulation may arise for that word's sake. When you decide to walk in healing, sickness may challenge you. When you decide to walk in purity, temptation may confront you. When you decide to obey God, contradiction may arise. These tests do not mean you should turn back. They are opportunities for Christ to be formed in you. If you stumble, rise again. If you fall, get up. If you are wounded in the race, keep moving toward the finish line. What matters is not that you never face difficulty, but that you refuse to abandon the race. You must learn to fellowship with the power of God within you. Feed on the word of God. Pray in the Holy Spirit. Fast when necessary. Ask questions in the presence of God. Train your spirit to hear, receive, and respond. Do not live casually with the Holy Spirit. Reverence His presence. Pay attention when the word is being opened. Build a daily practice of prayer, scripture, obedience, and surrender. Access to God has been given to you through the blood of Jesus, but depth in that access is cultivated through fellowship, discipline, hunger, and practice. You must also learn to use the name of Jesus. The authority of the believer is not reserved for a few special people; it belongs to those who believe. In His name, you can resist darkness, cast out devils, lay hands on the sick, govern your environment, pray over your children, speak life over your body, and confront the works of the enemy. Begin where you are. Use the authority of Christ over your own life, your home, your children, your body, your mind, and your assignment. Do not wait until you feel mature before you begin to practice faith. Practice is part of growth. The power of God operates in different dimensions. There are gifts of the Spirit, including gifts of healings, miracles, wisdom, knowledge, and discernment, but there is also the power within that every believer must learn to live by. The anointing upon empowers you to do, but the anointing within transforms you to become. Do not pursue outward power while neglecting inward formation. If you only desire to do mighty works but refuse to become like Christ, you will be unbalanced. The greater work is for Christ to be raised in you until His life, nature, authority, and glory flow through you naturally. You were made for God. Your mind, body, emotions, gifts, strength, and time belong to Him. Do not allow the distractions of the world, social media, fear, comfort, or laziness to drive God out of your consciousness. Present your body as a living sacrifice. Refuse to be conformed to this world. Be transformed by the renewing of your mind so you can prove the good, acceptable, and perfect will of God. Let your life become a vessel through which God heals, saves, restores, governs, intercedes, and displays His glory. The Lord is able to keep you. Even if your strength feels small, keep His word and do not deny His name. The power of God is in you, upon you, and available to preserve you. You are called to live by that power, to be kept by that power, and to become a vessel through whom that power touches the earth. Therefore, ask the Holy Spirit to build you up. Ask Him to teach your hands to war and your fingers to fight. Ask Him to make you wiser than your enemies. Acknowledge the help God has sent to you. Speak life. Resist death. Reject fear. Stand in faith. Grow in Christ. Run your race. Finish well. Zoom every weekday : http://www.caveadullam.org/zoom
