On this episode, Conor is joined by the amazing Tom Dunning or @mental_health_runner to talk about the transformative power of running. Tom's mental health journey began shortly after he graduated from uni – Almost overnight he was thrown into the world of mental health crisis; a world where hearing and seeing things that weren't there became normal. He experienced psychosis, PTSD, social anxiety, and almost daily suicide attempts. It took a long time to heal, and he is still healing, but Tom eventually found running and from that point, things began to get better bit by bit. All the way through his story, Tom's amazing wife was with him. She was, and always will be, his rock and his guiding light. With her support he is now in a place to share his story in way that gets people exercising and looking after their physical and mental health!!
