In this episode I talk about learning to accept the things we cannot change and knowing what are the things we can change, and using our influence in these areas to create a positive environment to the people around us, especially this season of the Covid pandemic. In Melbourne, the city metro area has gone into the unprecedented stage 4 restrictions, which is really testing the mental resolve of all Melbournians. However, in the midst of all this, true freedom and peace are still possible to those who believe the all-knowing, all-powerful, all-loving God is ultimately the only one in control. We hear from a sweet young creative in Melbourne who is using this isolation to create music and art that expresses how she feels during this season of Covid 19. Other ways to reach me... In this episode I introduce myself and explain how the idea of this podcast came to be. Originally a wife, mom, home educator, and photographer from United States, podcasting was not even an idea in my mind. But when I moved to Australia last year and found myself listening to more podcasts from speakers back in the US, the idea of one day starting didn’t seem so impossible. Enter coronavirus, a.k.a. Covid–19. It wasn’t that I found myself with more time on my hands like some folks. We had just moved to a new house in the midst of all the new quarantine rules and I was back to homeschooling 4 boys since schools were closed. However, it was more out of a desire to want to create something new and beautiful during uncertain times, hoping that it would also bring some help to others, especially teens, as we all work out what a new normal looks like during this time. So I turned to podcasting the stories of teens during this worldwide pandemic. Without the ability to meet people in person anymore , I resorted to the tools still at my disposal, which were my computer, still my camera, and my connections. Referenced in this episode.
