In the last of this three-part podcast episode, Eddie “Leeway” Sutton and Doc Ock talk about the iconic David Bowie. A lot is covered in this episode from the great musicians he played with like Reeves Gabrels and Mick Ronson to the "artistic" image he brought to music, when a lot of the bands from back in the day, as Eddie recalls, "were sloppy looking dudes." Eddie and Doc somehow change course a few times in this episode, as they first begin to discuss death metal/black metal, Thor, Manowar and The Mentors, before bringing it back to David Bowie. If that was not enough, Eddie and Doc bring up Dave Mustaine, Megadeth, Paul Baloff, and Exodus. At the end of this wide-ranging conversation, they both agree that certain musical movements and genres may not have existed if it wasn't for David Bowie. Listen in to find out which ones they are talking about!   Featured Music: Intro: Truth and Rights “Pick It Up”   Truth and Rights album ‘Lies and Slights' available on iTunes: https://geo.itunes.apple.com/us/album/lies-and-slights/id1234443944?mt=1&app=music Connect with Eddie: Like on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/eddie.sutton.754 Follow on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/eddie_leeway/

Eddie and Doc also discuss Chuck Berry's past troubles, which they believed detracted from his legacy during news coverage of his death. In keeping up with that theme, Eddie And Doc converse about the age of consent and share some personal stories, before Doc shares his thoughts about Elvis Presley being called the "King of Rock and Roll." The show raps ups with more anecdotes about Chuck Berry, as they also discuss other great rock and roll and blues pioneers.

In the final part of the debut episode of The Eddie Leeway Podcast Show, Eddie "Leeway" Sutton and Doc Ock reminisce about New York City's old Times Square, once called "the sleaziest block in America" by Rolling Stone Magazine in 1981. Eddie and Doc bring you a firsthand account of what is was like before the revitalization of 42nd street, from the grimy theaters and live sex shows to the neighborhood stores selling pimp clothes and spiked wristbands. If that was not enough, Eddie and Doc also take a further look back at a time when smoking on the New York City subways and buses was not uncommon and travelling a few train stops out of your hood was considered risky. Also in this episode, Doc talks about the emergence and relevance of certain radio stations in New York City at that time, while Eddie talks about his brief encounter with Ace Frehley and his attempt to seek revenge on Rod Stewart. The show concludes with a brief discussion of the n-word. Listen to Eddie and Doc's take on the word.
