KISS is celebrating the incredible legacy of Ace Frehley with a special all-star tribute, and we're breaking down all the details on this episode of Talking Guitars on Johnny Beane TV! The legendary original KISS guitarist, known around the world as "The Spaceman," made a lasting impact on rock music with his unmistakable tone, creative solos, and guitar style that inspired generations of players. KISS was well known for their image, the characters, and the merch. But behind the makeup and pyrotechnics, Ace Frehley brought the fire. Ace was the secret weapon: a Bronx-bred, unschooled guitar slinger whose wild bends, dinosaur vibrato, and pentatonic mayhem gave KISS songs their teeth.
